Hello my good sir, it seems stickers of this Von Brunk have infested my home town (Lititz PA). Is there a local photoshoot a-foot?
Good question. I've been doing sticker art for a while as a hobby, and as of recently I've been printing them in bulk and giving them out to fans, but also I've been putting them up myself. I'm originally from Lancaster County, so whenever I travel home I like to place the stickers around areas I travel. Lititiz in particular has a bunch of my stickers since some of my friends and family live there, and as I kid I used to play at that park on Broad Street whilst my mom would go shopping downtown.

McGundam: original LEGO creation by Baron von Brunk.
This is a bizarre, disturbing creation I've built which blends the imagery of Ronald McDonald with the demonic Devil Gundam from the infamous anime series Mobile Fighter G Gundam. The main focal point of this build is the massive Ronald head for its midsection, which has the appendages sprouting from it to form a mechanical beast.
After conceptualizing the project, the eventual engineering aspect would undergo several changes for structural purposes. In other words, the size and articulation was frequently adjusted, since the heavy weight constantly made the project topple over and break. Extra joints were added to weak spots, which unfortunately limited its range of motion. It was also intended to be much taller, too, but was too large to stand on its own weight. Another thing to point out was that the feet originally had more motion and were intended to rotate for action poses, but sadly had to have their articulation simplified to prevent the whole model from toppling over.
When building this project, I started with the giant Ronald head first, so that I could share the head as a teaser photo on social media. Next I built the legs and feet, before finalizing the chest, head, and spinal section. During tests I had to constantly amend the design and either add or remove sections due to aforementioned weight/stability issues. The spinal column was supposed to much longer and narrower – like a serpent – but had to be shortened and reinforced with Hero Factory parts to make sturdier.
Shooting the photos was also very difficult since the project was having trouble standing upright without falling over, and pieces constantly kept falling off and breaking. Too much of the details and greebling meant that when the appendages would wobble during photo shoots, the pieces would immediately come off and roll off the table, and then require lots of repairs.

Remembering the Station Nightclub Fire, 20 Years Later

Exactly 20 years ago in West Warwick, RI, one of the worst disasters occurred in rock music history. 100 people lost their lives and many others were injured in a careless and tragic concert for Jack Russell's Great White at the Station nightclub.
To commemorate the tragedy, I drove from Manhattan to Rhode Island to shoot video and photos. I recorded lots of GoPro footage for my YouTube video montage, and then shot still images of my LEGO Gibson guitar placed along the memorial.
As for me personally, I had no immediate connections to anyone involved in the tragedy: I was a high school senior in Pennsylvania at the time of the fire, and didn't hear about the disaster until later. I have always been fascinated by the events which occurred that night, and wanted to visit the site myself.

Video demonstration on YouTube
Originally started in 2020, this is my set of custom LEGO Super Nintendo Transformers: a console named Super Famitron, a cartridge called Polybius, and two gorilla controllers named Simian Kong and Primal Kong. I’ve been creating original video game Transformers since late 2011, and this is currently the newest addition to the team!
This particular set is a spiritual successor to the aforementioned creations like my Nintendo 64 Transformers, and uses similar but more elaborate functionalities. The main robot [Super Famitron] is absolutely massive and despite his articulated design, he has trouble standing up when in robot form. However unlike previous LEGO video game consoles of mine, the cartridge slot actually has a spring-loaded trap door for inserting game cartridges. Also the power buttons slide up and down, the dark grey eject button can reciprocate as well.

The Goof Trooper: original LEGO creation by Julius von Brunk.
This is an updated, advanced addition to my previous Disney Mech Warriors from 2017 – now with quad nipple cannons! This new lanky beast towers high above his partners Mecha Mouse and Ducktank! This project was originally worked on by me in early 2020, but I had to halt production in April when I moved into my new apartment. Once I got my whole LEGO collection relocated to Manhattan, I resumed production and completed the details of this massive mechanical battle vehicle. Special shout out to Mishima Productions: for the internal structure of this model, I used Mishima's template called the Mech Frame 02 on his YouTube channel – although I made a lot of key changes in the design.

More angles of my massive LEGO Homer Simpson head sculpture. Around this time in 2016 was when I finished my quintessential Baron von Brunk Head Sculpture – so now 4 years later, I've one-upped myself by taking on a life size head sculpture of one of the most iconic cartoon characters of all time!
This is a project that I've been gradually working on since February, following the completion of my Bort Sampson animation when I was in the mood to create more Simpsons-related projects. The construction of most of the head was rather straightforward, with the major challenges mainly involving the round shape of the top half of the head. In fact, major changes with the shape of the head were a factor in taking so long to finish the project, as well as when I waited for batches of curved yellow LEGO pieces to arrive in the mail.
The base was simple and merely consisted of cascading white slopes. Right before completion, I wasn't satisfied with the shape and design of Homer's eyes, so further release was delayed as I ordered new parts to slightly expand them; the original eyes were slightly smaller and had subtle eyelids.

Bort Sampson.
Bort sold his soul, but it looks like he’s gotten more than he bargained for when his old friend Milhaus showed up to play. Who will survive?
This is a stop-motion LEGO puppet animation which blends live action together into a new form of art. Behold, the new era of brickfilm animation – you’ve never seen anything like this before. Bort Sampson is the first animation of its kind: it won’t be the last.
