Here’s a site for the Cherokee nation, and where to donate to their housing project

This is a wildly old site for the Cherokee cultural society of Houston, but you can always try them by phone or email

the Sovereign Amonsoquath Band of Cherokee have a donation tab for their ancestral land

Here’s the donation tab for the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, a museum dedicated to the culture, history, and stories of the Cherokee people. If you’re looking for holiday gifts, here’s their shop.

The Nanticoke Tribe somehow manages to not have a donation tab anywhere, but here’s the museum if anyone’s in the area

Y’all, this was scary to find links for. I mostly went from one tribe’s page to another, and half the tabs were down and non-functional- not to be over-dramatic, but I hope everyone’s okay. I don’t know how to find new versions or homes of defunct sites, so half of these are just centralized around the people who could support their online presence.

Show your support, y’all- hell, I know that there’s a lot of posts about native people on tumblr selling stuff, so y’all have no reason not to support them tomorrow instead of throwing your money at a Black Friday sale and ruining a worker’s day.
