This is so cool!! Especially their eyes.

The way one of Steven’s eyes is deliberately blocked by the goldfish, aka his everyday life. His other is looking up — he’s the optimistic one, the one who keeps everyone moving forward.

Marc is behind him, one eye blocked by Steven, because he hides behind him and his normal life. The other is focused on Steven as well, his priorities, especially pre-series, are mainly limited to Moon Knighting and keeping Steven safe/oblivious to his Moon Knighting.

Jake! Ohohoh Jake. Jake is, of course, partially blocked by Marc AND faded because Marc nor Steven know of him. His gaze, however, does not focus on them, it focuses on us, the viewer, because we are the ones who know he exists. His little smirk adds to that, as if he’s sharing an inside joke with us.

TL:DR; so much thought was put into this I’m bouncing off the walls

🌙 | Binge-watched “Moon Knight” this Easter, might have a small obsession now. I don’t know how I’m so late to it!! The show is so good!!!
