I feel like the way I word things in this account might give the misunderstanding that I am a neutralshipper that are like

"both sides are wrong and bad!!" When I don't mean to convey that at all, I feel like with my poor wording that's the impression I give with my anti and proship related posts, because I do believe both anti and proship have their flaws and valid points (do you get what I'm saying?? I can't explain clearly)

I don't wanna villainize something unintentionally and I feel like I did lol

How most anti and proship arguments go (from what I've seen only)

Let's face it a lot of people (from what I seen are proshippers) use "anti censorship" when it comes to ships only not when it's something serious like in a political sense, they just need an excuse to look better

For your point I haven't considered that for The adult fandoms but I completely agree, I wasn't really thinking about that while typing my thoughts out but I really like your point (ʘᴗʘ)

The proshipping community should understand the type of content they produce can influence a minor negatively in some way. Especially when the content involves grooming, SA or anything else.

"It's not my responsibility, their parents shouldn't give them a lot of internet access! " while of course you are not a parent, you should enjoy making content without worrying about other minors

BUT

You have to be considerate and mindful of the things you wanna post especially with triggering topics.

If you're not considerate it can make a community a space where minors can get hurt or something. There are people who were influenced by saying that those things are good.

They have developing minds and can be easily influenced by anyone even if they don't want to

The best thing to do is add a disclaimer and or note while saying "you don't support" you also say something like "please don't do these actions, this is fiction-" and bla bla bla even if anything

We should be mindful of the topics were handling in the fan content we make

"Your pro censorship! " that's not what I meant

If you wanna discuss in a civil manner, feel free to comment and send in an ask, it would be nice seeing other perspectives without Harrassment.

It's important to recognize that proshippers can be predators. An adult sending art of an age gap ship to a minor in order to groom them into a relationship is not unheard of. It is a very real grooming tactic online. Of course, enjoying darkships doesn't instantly mean someone is a predator- but implying that darkship art can't ever be used as a grooming tactic isn't helpful. Predators are in every online space, and it's important to recognize and watch out for the signs. Proshippers are not predators, but some predators are proship.
