HAPPY GAY MONTH YALL

Aight i made a subtle aroace flag for myself while watching movies with my grandparents and if u all want u can use it too. U can use it if u like it or if, like me, its not safe to be openly gay at ur house :(

Oh also if u think someone would notice the little blatant sunset flag colors in the corner i added to make it more obvi that its inspired by the flag heres a version without it so its more subtle!!!

As far as i can tell u can use the sunset aroace flag even if u arent sure where u r on the spectrum yet so im using it for me as a ‘aspec somehow ?’ flag cuz idk where i am on the spectrum rn and i dont have the free time to figure it out,,, sooooooo. Ur welcome to use this if u arent sure!!! Cuz i made it and i said so >:)

Soooo i made it based on the sunset aroace flag (duh haha) and i tried to do the same thing last year with traditional materials and it didnt turn out well HAHAHAH but we tried again this year and it turned out sooo much better imo!! I decided on a fox standing on the snow for a lot of reasons but mainly bc i saw this one thing earlier this week and it made me laugh,,,,

so. A fox. Yes. Also I like foxes. (Almost a year ago my idea was "omg aceflag but UNICORN bc the whole virginity thjng- and then I remembered virginity is a concept meant to control women and also has no real importance to someone being aspec and if i made a flag based on that it would actually be quite aphobic so im glad i got sleep and was able tk THIBK AB IT befire j made it 💀😭) oh and also my dog looks like a fox (shiba inuuuuuu) and she hates everybody ecept me so. and then butterflies bc change and all blah blah blah (cuz like. Demis and also people who aren't sure but feel one way at one stage and may feel dif later and and and- lots of thoughts not enough brain rn HAHAH but I hope u get the gist?) but also i didnt want to do like. A parrot. And i had a reason for not drawing a corvid i swear i just dont remember them HAHAAHHA (mayhaps next year i will do it anyway..) and crocuses!! And uh. Symbolism and all that jazz. If i had smth else i forgot im tired :( i have the WORST habit of only posting when sleep deprived whyyy

ANYWAY i apologize if anything is wrong or offensive in my flag its just supposed to be a silly thing I made yesterday and forgot to post that I made for myself but wondered if anyone else wojld want so. Please forgive me if I managed to do something stupid I know things get pretty heated up sometimes ab gay stuff and my intention was just to have something to celebrate a part of myself thag I can't trust with any of my family or even talk ab at school so :( pretty please no hate? Just tell me if I did smth stupid I mess up a lot but I'm doing my best I swear :((

Day 28: under the stars

Guys I drew every blade of grass and every leaf individually and I swear it put me in a trance or smth it was so soothing but when I had to get up to walk the dog it felt like it should have been late the next night and not the same days afternoon it was WHACK

Guess who discovered the blur tool!!!! Me! It's me!!!

I regret the stars looking like that, still can't figure out Lester's hair grrrr, but I like Meg's hair and overall I think this is my best art piece yet haha

Idk what my art style is doing but it's doing SOMETHKNF so I'm pleased ig

I was gonnaaaaaaa write a fun little fic of the twins bonding with the grace siblings but it appears that will be aways off still cuz my grandparents just arrived and a doodle was faster HAHHA

Guys the real reason Apollo hated his Lester form was bc he's so used to being PRETTY he can't handle being CUTE

Like look at him I just wanna squeeze his cheeks (totally not instinct bc of my dog, with her squishy cheeks rahhh)

It's still not a design im satisfied with but I'm FIGURINF IT OUT trusttt just like this whole art thing in gen. Not satisfied but I'm working on it

Did my best to make Lester's vibe just Not Quite Match with Artemis but I don't think I did very well at it HAHAHHA Make that disconnect visibleeee and also emphasize how Lester fits into the mortal world even better than Artemis, who was previously the closest imo (dio has moved on from that as soon as he could haha)

Also I was so tempted to give Lester cute little golden eye sparkliesssss

I decided against it bc it's supposed to be Apollo in Lester form yeahh but he's TRYINF to look MORTAL and the eye soarklies were just a tad too much imo

Anyhow I had fun doodling it!!! :D

Also I made a little symbol for myself that I may decide I hate soon idk but for now I'm pleased

Day 23: failed escape

Don't question the anatomy I did that in like an hour XD

So I had the genius idea of finally writing that!

And then I realized that I want to start that story MUCH earlier in the timeline than this specific scene I've had planned for a hot minute. And goodness knows I don't have the time to write that much rn.

And I didn't want to come up with something ELSE

So I did the next best thing, and doodled a "this is how it MIGHT go" art so it could actually be relevant to the prompt HAHAHA

Day 12: eyes that glow gold

Headcannon that post-toa may Castellons eyes glow gold when she has visions, mimicking what I think post toa apollos does. This makes her look uncannily like kronos-luke and like. Gives Hermes a panic attack idk just thought it was an interesting idea :)

Especially cuz I headcannon that Luke has mays coloring, except for her eyes, and ofc hes a loooot tanner than she is LOL, but all of his features come from Hermes. Basically the only thing they share is hair color. So kronos-luke looks mor like post toa may than regular Luke with his mom ever

Idk I just think Luke would despise that fact <3 so I wanted to add it

Mostly I just wanted to think about post toa may tho. Anyone else think that Apollo has little lunch dates with her post toa? She's better company than Zeus 🤷‍♀️

Or in other words i got completely distracted by first life and then toapril went ‘sup’ and im like ‘oh wait crap’ because my goal is to have something for every day, just like last year, but im spread so much thinner than last year so im frantically trying to get as many done ahead of time as i can instead of doing them all day of like last year LOL

So i have stuff i plan to be posting either during or after toapril, but that is LARGELy taking up my time right now LOLLLL (but heyyyy more content to consume as consolation???)

Im pretty excited about toapril tho, genuinely. I had SO MUCH FUN last year with it and it gave me so much confidence and inspiration and- and- so i reallllllyy wanna do it justice this year, even if it will all probably be shorter and weaker than last years (min word count is 1000, i REFUSE to do lower [cuz i wanna and i can and i dont want it to be too easy either] [if its a written thing, im gonna do a few art pieces maybe this year- ive already got one done and another halfway done so at least two lollll tho main goal is to writeee]) and my muses are trying to establish a workers union or some crap like that but they should just get with the program here-

Im also so surprised its been an entire year since last toapril??? Like i still havent looked over what i wrote last year dude

SPEAKING OF. keep an eye out for a poll, cuz im considering taking time post-toapril to comb through last years toapril fics and just like. Giving you guys commentary on it or something?? (and also, hopefully answering comments *dies in emberrasment for all the lovely comments that have gone unanswered for an entire YEAR OH MY GOSH*) like, just me yapping about my fics- maybe pointing out myths i referenced, inspiration taken from other peeps if i can remember, explaining things that i imagined were going on that didnt quite translate, maybe even editing the fics and seeing how much ive improved since then! Etc. i wanna see if you guys would be interested in that at all?? Just. me yapping about my own writing basically lol, and hopefully sparking discussions with people about things in ‘em and such, just… yapping

Well, my reasoning pertains mostly to the next chapter, when I update it 🫠, because even if it's not the primary focus of the fic it's gonna be a part of jt- albeit as non con. Imo, in this fic at least, it plays a key role in the relationship between Apollo and ares/Mars, and I'll be showing that more with Mars actually present LOL.

Does this help clear things up, or are you still confused? Or do you have any suggestions :v do you think I should take it out? If so, what's the reasoning? I'm still not sure how to tag things lol I'd love to hear your thoughts on it if you don't mind sharinf- I don't want to use misleading tags!
