Help please. I’ve seen a few fics on Ao3 that have Jaskier Morningstar and Ares Montague in the tags and are obviously in the fic itself. I’m just really confused as to who these people are and why are they in Supernatural fics ???

cas and dean (okay, mostly dean) seem to be under the impression that sam has no idea they are together. if you asked sam, however, he could give you a list of times the two were awful at keeping it a secret:

1. the time sam walks past the library and sees cas and dean sitting on the table across from each other, both deep into whatever they are reading. under the table, their legs are stretched out so that dean’s knee is firmly pressed between cas’s.

2. that time a bump on the road wakes sam up from his nap on the backseat of the impala. he doesn’t get up, only opens his eyes, struggling to see in the dark. the radio is low, and cas and dean aren’t speaking but the arm dean is not using to steer the car rests on the back of the seat, his fingers slowly stroking the back of cas’s neck. 

3. when they are spending the night at the motel after a hunt, because sam has a broken arm and the painkillers are making him sleepy. when he wakes up the next morning, the sun is already blearing into the room and there is a wet spot on the pillow where he apparently drooled while he was out. on the bed next to sam, dean and cas are sitting up watching a movie from the laptop, with cas tucked under dean’s arm. they are sharing headphones, and when dean kisses the top of cas’s head, cas hides a smile against dean’s neck.

4. that time sam wakes up at 2am because he’s thirsty, but cas is already in the kitchen. cas’s hair somehow manages to stand to every single direction at the same time, and he is naked apart from the boxers sam recognizes as dean’s. there are two dark hickeys low on his abdomen, and one high up on his inner thigh. sam blinks. cas blinks. sam blinks again, and decides water can wait until the morning. when sam enters the kitchen the next morning, cas is already sitting at the table. he tells sam there is coffee in the pot, and they never acknowledge what happened earlier.

5. that one sunday afternoon when sam is looking for cas because he needs help with a translation he has been working with all morning. on the living room tv netflix is asking if you are still watching, but no one is, because cas and dean are asleep on the couch. they are both on their sides, with dean’s back against the back of the couch, arms under his head. cas is in front of him, with his face pressed against dean’s stomach, his arm around dean’s waist. the couch isn’t even that big, so there is no way they should both fit comfortably, but neither of them wakes up when sam walks into the room. carefully, he makes sure his phone is on silent. then he snaps a picture and sends it to eileen.

so yeah, sam knows

I’ve been thinking about this for a hot minute

What was the fic that got you started on Ao3? Like where did you find it? When did you read it? What was the name of it? What was the ship? Did you like it? Would you recommend it to others?

Mine was Hautley’s Bend by @coldinthestudio

I found it on Wattpad. I knew that Ao3 was a thing but I didn’t like the fact that it was a website and not an app so I stubbornly stayed on Wattpad. Also, I wasn’t aware that the author didn’t want their story re-posted anywhere so I didn’t report it and I still feel ✨shitty✨ I was about 16-17 years old, junior year of high school. Lemme tell ya, it ruined me. It’s a Destiel fic, slow burn, so much angst, enemies to lovers, and so so good. Phenomenal. Chefs. Kiss. I still read it every once in a while when I want to feel something. So I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a long, well written, really good timeline, fic.

I love him but HOLY SHIT! I mean I already knew he was like this but I forgot how in the earlier seasons it’s just a flashing neon sign right over his dummy head

I’m rounding on 3x05 again and – actually the whole of season 3 is just Dean being a hypocritical clOWN – around the last five minutes the dr was like “I should’ve let her go a long time ago” and Dean has the AUDACITY to say “you should take his advice” TO SAM

Like sir... MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE HIS ADVICE. “YoU shOuLD tAke hIs AdVicE” I’m sorry, was Sammy the one who sold his soul because he couldn’t “let go” of his deceased baby brother? Oh no wait, that’s right, that was you. Get over yourself ma’am

Side note: I feel as though Dean has this insatiable desired be the tragic hero (And if we’re being completely honest he definitely does I mean.. but we won’t even BEGIN on that topic in this shitpost)

Wait so you’re telling me that Sam, SAMSQUATCH, can’t have a one night stand EVER? Sammy just falls for people so quickly 🥺 (Btw I’m basing this post off of 2x17) he knew Madison for a few days and he was so broken because they couldn’t save her without killing her. I mean, any other person would’ve been the same I guess but he wouldn’t cry with any other person like that, like he did with Madison. Part of me thinks that Dean knew that this was the most difficult thing he’s ever had to do, after dealing with his parents and Jess’ death.

Call me crazy but I’m convinced that he’s the kind of person who believes in “love at first sight” I mean come on. He loved Madison, just a little bit, and you can’t convince me otherwise

Okay so I’m watching supernatural (again)

I can’t be the only person who thinks that John isn’t actually a bad person/parent. I mean yeah, he makes questionable decisions and yeah, he brought them into the life of hunting but it wasn’t out of malice or anything like that. He literally did it out of the fear of losing his boys like he did with the love of his life. I can’t blame him for what he did tbh

Also, he is such a soft boi. He really is. He loves those boys more than anything and it kills me cause he would do anYTHING to keep those two idiots alive. And before Mary died, he set up cOLLEGE FUNDS FOR THEM ?! Y’all can’t change my mind that he is a good dad. Cause shIT
