assorted bugfables headcanons. uhhh vaguely spoilery id recommend doing vi and leif'd quests first. also get to like chapter 5 or 6????

- vi isn't a fan of long hugs. shorter ones she's chill with (like the ones she and her sister typically exchange), but she gets uncomfortably warm with the long ones, and gets the urge to Squirm. usually only hugs people she's really close to.

- She's more receptive to longer huge/cuddle sessions when it's cold or she's cold, for this reason.

- Kabbu catches feelings with alarming ease and frequency. yet somehow he remains oblivious. (pansexual Kabbu)

- leif doesn't get hunger/thirst signals, only noticing that they need to eat or drink when they're already in pain or discomfort. Much to Kabbu's bewilderment and distress. Wether this is because of autism or. You Know. Remains to be seen. maybe it's both.

- Kabbu gets really bad nightmares. Usually about his friends (both current and former) dying.

- Vi tries not to think about all of the times she and the others could've met their end. But sometimes, late at night, it's hard to escape.

- Kabbu and leif have somethin fruity goin on. not romance not friendship but a third, more sinister thing

- kabbu LOVES playing board games from other cultures.

- leif feels exposed when their wings aren't wrapped around themself.

- the first time vi hugged him, Kabbu almost cried. scratch that, he definitely cried. Vi pretended not to notice, for his sake.

- leif wasn't joking when they said that they'd freeze the whole ocean if Vi asked.

- Leif starts preffering they/he pronouns postgame. "They" in the plural sense.

- vi's sexuality evades me. she might be aro/ace.

- kabbu was just fully willing to except that leif was plural when they first met and referred to themselves with "we/us/our".

Your cold reminds me of remaking's cold. I'm not sure if that was intention or a coincidence but either way I think the design works really well for him! Would've loved a chance at drawing his head wings but it wasn't in the cards. I also wasn't quite sure how the hole in his chest worked so that's why the cloak is always closed lol

@pink-november i owe you my heart for bringing up parasmit. i love these two dearly. hence the four paragraphs. I apologize.

I feel like smitten would naturally want to try and soothe para’s worries, and paranoid would naturally be like “you are 17 seconds at most from running headfirst into danger for the sake of another at any given time why are you lIKE THIS” and would be stressing even more in this guy’s presence

In all seriousness I feel like parasmit would actually be good for eachother. Paranoid’s exasperatedly clucking over her like a mother hen while smitten is fawning over him at the same time. Both make sure the other is taking care of themselves and staying out of trouble (even if paranoid already WAS staying out of trouble.) 

I imagine paranoid actually falls first here, albeit very slowly. Smitten has her eyes on the princess most of the time, and it’d probably  take her a while to realise that she Can like other people romantically. But as soon as she realises that’s how she feels for para? It’s insane. Flowers, chocolates–whatever other things you give lovers im not allo–to the point that she has to ask him to turn it down a bit because of how overwhelming it would get.

When they’re actually together, though, I imagine it’s actually rather comforting for the both of them. Paranoid makes sure smitten doesn’t bend over backwards for him and others and probably facilitates better communication in general, and smitten gives this man some good ol tlc and encourages him to get proper rest :) 

@ace-of-digiorno Parahero is a very popular ship so im gonna focus on the slightly less popular one here ^^. With this in mind: Ohhh my god i absolutely ADORE paranoid x hunted so so much im gonna lose it

they’re both naturally on the back-foot, moreso than a lot of other voices and their generally cautious attitudes towards situations would naturally bring them together I think. They’re on a similar wavelength, just in different fonts. They probably stick together at first out of a perceived necessity, even in a safer situation (but especially in a not-safe situation.) Paranoid would definitely need some help adjusting to a non-perception-based world, or even just a less-perception-based one, and hunted sees the benefit in working in packs.

So, basically, these two are sleeping in the same bed long before romance even passes their mind as an option. They’re attached at the hip whenever they’re leaving whatever their domicile might be, and probably just in general. Hunted is the One Thing standing between Paranoid and overpreening twenty-four-seven. And being completely sleep deprived. And forgetting to eat. And- you get the idea. 😭

I feel like very little changes once they actually get together, though I do imagine paranoid falls first, or realises her feelings first, at the very least. But yeah. Except that I imagine Hunted gets a little more… friskay with their touches n probably licks a lot more, n para probably ends up using more petnames and whatnot, if even. I don’t think romance would change much for them but provide a deeper meaning for what’s already there.

It takes everyone ages to realise they’re together, I think. They let the others figure out on their own terms. Like hunt/thorn, they’re very devoted, and have eachother’s backs no matter what.

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Oooh, Narry's a fun one. I like him a lot as a character, he's very very well written. It's actually a little hard to point out the specific things i like about him.

One thing in specific though is how annoyed he gets when you free the Princess. Especially in routes like the damsel and the thorn. it's very very funny to me.

Sorry for the lack of detailed responses i think hes a very neat character its just hard to articulate my thoughts on him </3

at first adversary would definitely be annoyed that this man is Not Willing To Fight (physically) and paranoid wouldnt like her one-track-mind being dead-set on constantly fighting.

BUT i do think they could grow some begrudging affection for one-another given the right circumstances.

for instance if para's the doctor of hte group then theyre gonna have a lot of time to chat because. uh. looks at her and stubborn. i feel like shed enjoy picking him up and hed eventually come to appreciate her strength
