Me when I start a new project……………..

Idk if I’ll continue YewClan, I’ve been wanting to restart it tbh. I didn’t properly write anything out and so I didn’t really feel like the story was going anywhere. Maybe I’ll return to it one day. This project I’m way more motivated about and I have more of a plan for it, and I’ll be posting my progress in making it.

I hope you’ll follow and sorry for being so inconsistent with my projects haha!

It’s unlikely that I’ll continue YewTreeClan, unless it goes through some MAJOR rewrites. Please follow my current project instead of one that will probably never continue.

Hiya! I’m Rowan (he/they/it) and welcome to Shadow in the Blizzard! @spooky--spookster

Shadow in the Blizzard (SitB) is a warrior cats Clangen comic based on John Carpenters ‘The Thing’. It follows a group of 9 cats venturing to the mountains to investigate a meteor, believed to be a message from starclan. On their journey, a blizzard hits, and they’re forced to set up camp in a nearby cave. The mountains are lonely, but are they truly the only life up there?

This story is still in early development, I’ve got the character designs and major plot beats, But I’ll be posting my progress and pre production here!

I am a man of weak will……..

So I did a run of this clan, and really liked how it turned out. It’s definitely going to be a comic at some point, but I’m focused on my other ones for now. I also wanna get better at cat anatomy if I’m gonna be drawing cat things lol!

I’d also want to make this real high quality. Shading, backgrounds, the whole lot. So it would be very time consuming to make, on top of the fact I want to properly script everything and write out the story to be properly cohesive. But, these are the characters for now. My goobers. I’m sure nothing bad will happen to them.

The basic premise is that the clans saw a meteor crash at the top of the mountain, and send three cats from each clan to investigate. A harsh snowstorm settles in by the time they get there, so they hunker down in a cave to wait it out. Hiyoko and Pear are loners that joined, not clan cats.

Felt like the old refs were very stale and I wasn’t a big fan of them. Also wanted to change a couple things about their designs, pretend they were always like that lol, I’m retconning it. Plus artfight is soon and I’m gonna put these boys up there teehee. The kits refs are fine atm, but I’ll probably change them once they become apprenticed/warriors
