After 6 years, YFR will officially be closing.

YFR started as a whim 6 years ago when Admin N realized she read way too many Yoonmin fics and wanted to share her favorites. Back then, it was possible to have read every single Yoonmin fic on AO3... now there are thousands! We're overjoyed to have watched the fandom grow.

It was a difficult decision to make, but the admins will no longer be able to run this blog. Our time here has been great, and we are forever grateful to have had YFR. YFR will always be significant to us. We've had a wonderful and fun six years engaging with the Yoonmin community on Tumblr and will miss it dearly. Thank you to everyone who followed, checked out our blog, participated in our fic events, and interacted with YFR overall. Thank you so much to everybody who supported us over the years!

The blog will remain open so that everyone can continue to access our tags, masterlists, recs, and beta page. We hope people will continue to discover fics on this blog for years to come! Please also stay safe & well.

It turns out he has a knack for it and has recently finished his tenth publication. He’s still trying to write the novel he always dreamed of and when it’s finally finished, it will be the first of his work which he plans to publish under his own name.

His second job is the super in a modest apartment complex in Tucson, Arizona. He tends the grounds, changes light bulbs and maintains a swimming pool in the courtyard that no one ever uses. In exchange, he pays no rent and gets the time to write in between fixing leaky faucets and helping Mrs. Guilder in 206 make her way up and down the steps.

His life is comfortingly predictable. That is until Jimin, the new tenant in 103, turns everything upside down.

As the sun begins to set, his eyes follow two surfers as they catch the last of the evening swell in the water. Namjoon notices Yoongi watching and decides to call Jimin and JK over for introductions.

Yoongi is a warmth against his right side一a quiet, steady flow of comfort. Their thighs are touching, and their shoulders, and still after realizing, Jimin makes no move to move away.

Really, it takes more self control to not move closer.

And Jimin’s good with skinship一he is. He and Taehyung and Jeongguk are all very touchy people, but there is a different way that Taehyung touches Jeongguk and vice-versa一they are soulmates, after all.

Jimin’s always hanging out with them, so of course he notices. Even without trying, because anyone can see it, the way that soulmates touch is something different.

He swallows. In his bones, there is a suspicion, a seed of hope too scared to plant itself because Jimin won’t let it, won’t let himself hope after being let down so many times.

Yoongi’s touch burns different against his side and Jimin bites his lip and bears it because surely it isn’t true. Surely this isn’t right.

(Surely he isn’t this lucky).

Surely Min Yoongi isn’t his soulmate.

(or: the one where everything you lose ends up in your soulmate's possession, jimin keeps misplacing his gifts, and yoongi is having a really really really bad christmas).
