I’ve been waiting for experimentation art for like forever!!!! If I could as much draw a proportionate looking face, I WOULD totally draw my favorite scenes ( the pool kiss, tequila body shots?, every time one of them gets pinned on the wall, etc) ughhhhhhhhh thank you for this!!!! This is soooooooo cool!!!

One of my favorite scene in a bechloe fanfic Experimentation by @redlance part one
All that tension and cuteness between these two,I just HAVE TO draw it.

Intents and Purposes
Hey, guys! I’m back… but just for now. Just to post a valentine fic. Enjoy!
—————————
Barden University, Atlanta, Georgia
"What kind of flowers do you like?”
Beca looks up from her computer with a raised eyebrow. “Sorry, what?” The track that she’s been working on for the past hour is softly playing in the background and she’s sure she heard it right, but just in case, she lowers the volume some more.
“What kind of flowers do you like?”
She actually thinks about it for a hot second when she meets Chloe’s gaze. The redhead is looking at her expectantly, like this question is something everyone has considered at least once in their lives before.
Does she have a favourite? No. Does she even like flowers? Maybe. To look at? Sure. To give? Depends. To receive? Probably.
But there’s so many variety.
“Anything.” She settles with that, finally. “Any kind is fine.”
She looks back down at her computer screen and hears a, “That’s good to know.”
Neither of them talks for a minute and Chloe’s response hangs in the air. She doesn’t have anything else to add to her answer but she figures the redhead wants to hear more. “Like, I guess I like the one that makes me look more badass. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do when I’m handed a bouquet, ya know? Am I gonna carry it around with me all day? I got places to be. And I would rather be hands-free.”
Her hands then starts tapping on her keyboard. Maybe she can use the first minute of Disclosure’s Flow on this mix, and maybe it will work well with the other song she was thinking of. What was it again? Oh, well, maybe Chloe has some ideas. Or Chloe can also tell her what flower she likes. She can ask, too, she thinks. It’s not weird. The other girl has asked her first. No big deal. Just her crush asking her about things she likes.
Well, Chloe is her friend first (amongst other things) so it’s totally normal to be asked about things she likes.
Besides, it’s Chloe.
It’s a Chloe thing to do to ask.
She’s learned it early on, since they met. The fair. The showers. After auditions. After initiations. Chloe has inquired of her from as common as “Which hall is your dorm at, Beca?” (which was helpful, since she and the rest of the Bella’s were able to wait up for her after her jail time) to as weird as “So when will I really know how high your belt go for real?”
Why is she so distracting… distracted?
“What about you?” Beca isn’t sure why that came out so unlike her, as if she sounds shy. She has tattoos and ear cuffs, black eyeliner that screams tough guy, and conversing with a girl gets her all shy? “I mean, like, what flowers do you like? Or whatever.”
Chloe smiles from across her and answers without a beat, “I’m so glad you asked! Everything.”
“Not surprising.” She is quick to reply.
“No, seriously. I like everything.” Chloe reaches over to give her arm a joking slap. Suddenly, Beca notices how small her bed is even though they’re both on each end, legs slightly tangling in the middle. The ginger leans back and continues, “I’m more of an intent kind of gal. I like everything especially if it’s given to me with purpose. That they thought of me when they saw the flowers and they just had to give it to me. You know?”
“Yeah, of course. With your very sunny disposition, you could seriously have a garden by now, dude.” She’s rewarded with a certified Beale smile-and-wink combo and a gentle blush creeps up from her neck. Fortunately for her, Chloe picks up her study notes (the actual reason why she’s there with Beca at her dorm in the first place) and busies herself with catching up with her lessons.
Beca sighs.
She can’t concentrate enough on making a new mashup. So she grabs her headphones buried underneath her pillows and plugs it in her computer. When it’s all fit and snug over her head and the pads are comfortably hugging her ears, she opens her repeat playlist and Nelly’s Just A Dream starts playing.
And she sneaks a glance up at Chloe.
——////——////——////——////——
Brooklyn, NY
This is the first February 14 they’re spending together in their studio apartment.
And she’s just on her way home from work.
At 7pm! Her boss just had to make her stay an extra hour, add the commute of another hour, and she finds herself walking the last 3 blocks to her home.
She knows Chloe has no plans on going out tonight, not that it matters to her if she goes on a date with someone anyway, but she’s just realizing that’s it’s her first Valentine’s Day with Chloe ALONE. And they’re both single.
Her cheeks flush at the thought and she tries to blame it on New York weather. Honestly, why is it still winter? And why is her small body shivering even though she’s wearing thermal socks, a sweater, a cardigan, and a thick jacket? And where is that sweet smell coming from?
Not far from where she’s dragging her feet is the new pop-up shop tailored specifically for the holidays. Usually, Beca’s not really into this kind of stuff, it’s just a ploy to sell something for far more expensive than normal and she’s also not made of money. She’s barely making any and she’s already splitting rent with Chloe.
Chloe.
She remembers that Chloe likes flowers. If Beca is being honest, her crush for her (now) best friend didn’t really go away. Now is a perfect opportunity for her to at least show Chloe that she loves her. (She says it back whenever her best friend tells her “I love you.” But this is different.) At least, if that feeling is unrequited, she can just pass it off as a platonic gift, because of course, friends do Valentine’s Day, too. Just a friend giving her friend flowers.
She detours to go inside the pop-up shop. It’s exactly what Beca had imagined it to look like from the outside. It’s filled with all sorts of mushy romantic things ranging from stuffed animals to food and sweets. And of course, flowers. All of them are somehow arranged almost identically though and Beca isn’t convinced there’s anything here that screams Chloe. Until her eyes catch something interesting from the sweet section.
She immediately purchased it, not caring about how cheesy it is for her to be carrying a box home to her… well, to Chloe. She brushes off the weird thought that maybe it’s odd that she’s giving something to Chloe. An actual gift that she thinks Chloe will like and appreciate. The past 3 years in the Bella’s house had just been cards mostly. She did send Chloe a playlist that one time, but it wasn’t because it was Valentine’s Day. It just happened to be that day. Just a coincidence.
She fumbles with her key for a bit before she’s able to fully open the door to their apartment. What she did not anticipate is Chloe standing right in front of her, as if she’s been waiting there the entire time.
“You're home!” Beca is greeted with a big smile. But no hugs? She usually gets a hug as soon as she enters.
She tries to ignore it and plops down her bag on the floor. “Hey, you weirdo,” her foot kicks back the door to close it, “have you just been standing there?”, her eyes narrowing on Chloe’s hand that is unusually behind her back, “whatchu got there, huh?”
“I got you something.” Chloe slowly retreats her right hand from behind her to reveal a small bouquet. “Ta-da!”
Beca’s expression is a mix. Chloe got her something? Today? And they’re actual flowers. She’s never given Beca flowers before. “That’s..” she trails off. Friends give friends flowers, too, she reminds herself.
“I thought since it’s our first Valentine’s Day together in New York, I’d get you something.” Chloe says when Beca accepts, like it’s the most natural thing in the world to be given flowers. “And since you like anything that screams badass, I thought why not dried flowers. And I wanted to give it to you here, at our home, so you don’t have to carry them anywhere else.”
Chloe’s eyes are following Beca’s hands, her fingers gently playing with the petals and leaves. “Chlo, this is..”
She doesn’t want Chloe to think that she doesn’t like them but her words are failing her right now. So instead, she cradles her flowers like a newborn baby and bends down to take something from inside her bag. “I actually got you something, too. Hang on, it’s a little… stuck. Okay… I got it.”
With her free hand, she offers Chloe the box. As soon as she sees her best friend’s face, she can’t help but smile as wide as she can.
Chloe’s eyes are wide and her mouth parts. She holds out both her hands when she takes the box from Beca. After slowly lifting the lid, her jaw drops. “Beca,” she gasps and squeals. “Chocolate flowers!”
“I passed by that pop-up shop we saw last week. Remember you were watching that lady make those chocolates from the window? And I thought the same thing as you, it’s our first February 14 together so I thought why not. Also, since you’re literally the sweetest person I know, and I remember you saying your favourite flower is ‘everything’, so here you go.”
Chloe quickly places them on the table (it’s a small apartment so it’s literally just an arm away, Chloe didn’t even have to take a step) and rushes to give Beca a hug.
She melts into it instantly and finally feels like she’s at home. Her one hand is still gripping the flowers, which she managed to save from being crushed by chloe, and her other snakes around Chloe’s waist.
She hears Chloe say, “Beca Mitchell, badass in the streets. Sappy in the sheets,” and laughs. She laughs, too.
“You’re lucky you're allowed to say that.”
The taller girl’s hands start to roam behind Beca’s back. And she shivers when she feels Chloe brush up and then, down slowly creating a pattern. “Thank you for the chocolate flowers. We didn’t even talk about getting each other something today. Did we think of each other at the same time?”
“I literally think about you all the time.” She thinks.
“What was that?” Crap.
Chloe pulls away a little, just enough so she can see Beca’s face. “Nothing,” she says.
In a moment of confidence and courage, she meets Chloe’s eyes and says, “Happy Valentine’s Day, Chloe.”
Another smile tugs at Chloe’s lips. “Happy Valentine’s Day, Beca.” And she quickly leans in to give Beca a kiss on her cheek.
At that exact same time, Beca tries to blow a strand of hair away from her own face so she moves. Chloe’s kiss landed right at the corner of her mouth and her eyes widened.
Her best friend doesn’t seem to notice or if she did, she doesn’t mind at all. She’s already by the table, popping one of the chocolate flowers in her mouth and offering Beca a piece.
“I’m good for now, thanks.”
“Can you come sleep on my bed tonight?” Chloe asks.
Beca rolls her eyes and chuckles, “What’s your excuse this time?”
“I want to cuddle with you.”
And honestly, Beca can’t think of any better way to end this day so she nods.

Is this what a drabble is? Anyway, I’ve been dealing with a Chloe a lot lately and I’m not as impulsive as Beca. So this sucks. But hey, first kiss Bechloe anyone? Nothing fancy. Just passing by. (2 min read)
That thing that Chloe does, where she winks and purses her lips together to produce some sort of sound resembling kissing, drives Beca a little off the edge.
She’s been holding back for so long and the redhead doesn’t even have any idea what it does to her. Which to say at least is not very fair.
She even brings it up one time.
“What’s with that..,” Beca trails off and imitates Chloe’s infamous wink/kissy face. “..that you do every time? Like yeah, you’re cute. But dude, why?”
“You said it yourself, Becs. I looked cute. So I do it.” There’s a little playful tease in there, which another thing that Beca hates (underlying statement: she’s into it). “By the way, you tried but you can’t do it. Let’s be honest, only I can pull that off.”
“Yeah yeah, no need to brag.”
And Chloe does it again.
-
Again and again. It turns out Chloe has turned it into a habit and the catch is? She only does it around Beca.
Beca could be just be sitting there in the morning, sipping her coffee in peace, and Chloe shows up, pulls up a chair beside her, and stares at her until she acknowledges her.
“Morning, Chlo.” She tries to sound indifferent, as she casually gives a little nod to the redhead’s direction. She then looks down at her rather interesting cup of half-unfinished drink, not saying anything.
Chloe doesn’t say anything either, just stares at her for a second more, and air kiss her right before she leaves.
Poor Beca is confused the whole day.
-
Ultimate, she’s reached her end.
One time, after practice, she and Chloe are walking back to the Bellas house. The rest of the girls decide to grab dinner (without their captains, Fat Amy’s idea.) Beca’s fine with that. She’s not really in the mood to deal with how the girls be while out in public.
They stop in front of their door. Chloe makes a move to go in but Beca stays on the spot.
“Aren’t you coming in?”
Beca, out of a trance, because she’s been thinking about Chloe a lot more lately, stutters, “Yeah, I.. I just remembered I gotta meet Jesse in his dorm.”
She fails to see a little wince from Chloe but she hears, “All right. You kids have fun and keep it in your pants.”
“Dude, you know we’re just friends. I’m not really into him.”
“Whatever you say.”
When Beca looks up, she sees Chloe standing by the ajar door looking at her. And ever so sweetly, she gives Beca a smile and another kissy face.
Impulse calls for her to move closer to Chloe, grabs both her cheeks and plants a quick kiss on her lips.
The redhead stands there blinking, obviously contemplating what just happened.
“Oh, I thought that’s what it meant. When you do that. You’re asking for a kiss? Right?”
“I mean, I didn’t think you’d do it. Honestly.”
“Took me a while.”
Beca leans in again and gives Chloe a peck. “See you later, babe.”
As she walks away, she can still see Chloe on the same spot on the door but with a bigger smile this time. She doesn’t mind giving if it’s within her ability to do so. Kissing? Kissing is good.

If you and your partner practice frequent, non-sexual consent, your relationship will be healthier and easier.
“Are you comfortable with me ranting about my day for a few minutes?”
“Oh, this is your poetry? Would it be okay if I read it?”
“Do you mind if I use your phone for a few minutes?”
“Wow, your meal looks awesome. Could I try some?”
It will save a lot of grief, especially in a developing relationship. Eventually, with consistent “yes’s” and “no’s” you can figure out more permanent boundaries and guidelines.
“I need to ask before ranting about my day or taking their food, but my partner is okay with me using their phone whenever. However, my partner does not like me reading their poetry unless they offer first.”

truth or truth: car edition
Probably my only contribution to this Bechloe week. Sorry for late post! I didn’t know I could make it. This is for the prompt TRUTH OR DARE.
Summary: Beca and Chloe take a short road trip. Car conversations can get a little out of hand sometimes.
———
An hour and a half into a 4-hour road trip, Beca had made herself comfortable and ready to nap in the passenger seat. A soft but weighty object flew to her shoulders with a pound.
“Beale! What?”, she jolted awake and turned to the driver side. She clutched the neck pillow that landed on her lap. “You know they fill this with beans, right? Dried beans! That kinda hurt, dude. What was that for?”
Chloe, who was firmly looking ahead and concentrating on the drive, replied with a scoff. “That’s not fair, Beca. You’re not allowed to sleep. It’s only 4 hours and you have to stay awake to keep ME awake. Passenger seat duty.”
Beca mumbled under her breath.
“Okay, if you keep doing that, I’ll have to pull over at the next gas station and we’ll switch. You drive. I sleep.”
The brunette straightened up right away. Shuffling a little in her seat so she can settle, she said, “Your driving skills are better than mine and you know it.”
Chloe lifted her right arm and made a thumb-up gesture without taking her eyes off the road to which the other girl just shook her head. Beca pulled out her phone from her pocket and plugged it in the car radio. It didn’t take long for the Corolla to be filled with music with just two people on their way to a wedding venue.
After 5 songs, Beca started skipping and reshuffling her playlist. “Sorry, Chlo. I’m not feeling my music today. You still good?”
“Yeah. Just actually getting bored. Highways aren’t really fun.”
“How about I turn this down and I just talk?”
Chloe raises an eyebrow. “You sure? I know I said I don’t want you to sleep but I don’t know about talking Beca.”
“Shut up, I ain’t telling you deep stuff. I don’t know. Car games?”
“Like what exactly? All of my senses are focused on this road.”
“I Spy?”
“I don’t want so much of a distraction while driving.”
“Guess what kind of fruit I am?”
“Really? No. Try again.”
“Truth or dare?”
“Unless you’re gonna dare me to switch driving, probably not a good idea. Truth or truth, yes.”
“Alright, truth or truth then. So it’s like truth or dare. Except it’s all truth. And you have to answer, no passes.”
“Cool, I guess. It’s like having a normal conversation.” She teased.
“That’s what you’d think. I go first. Truth: Why am I here with you?”
“Wow, starting off really strong there, Becs. First of all, you’re still a Bella. And this is a Bella wedding. Aren’t you excited to see Cynthia Rose? And her partner? And weddings? And free food.”
“Are those questions your truth?”
“No. Here’s truth for you: Are you still scared of showing you care for your friends even though this occasion can serve as our mini Bella reunion one long year after our graduation?”
Beca rolled her eyes. “No, it’s just that it’s in the middle of nowhere. And I’m too tired to drive. And that’s why you’re doing this which I appreciate, but it seemed a little unnecessary. My butt hurts.” She paused. “Beale, truth. Are you fond of weddings?”
“Yeah. What’s not to like? Friends are there. Free food. Love is everywhere. Your turn, Beca, truth. Why aren’t you?”
“Well, it’s not like I’m not fond of them. Weddings are okay. It’s just that it’s..” The brunette trailed off.
“You know it’s probably gonna be legalized in all states this year. We don’t have to drive 4 hours to be free.”
“You’re one hopeful beacon, Beale. I don’t know where you get it from. Truth: If the states don’t legalize anything this year, would you drive 4 hours to get married?”
“Oh, Beca. Is this your way of asking if I’m gay?” The brunette flushed red and stutters inaudibly. Chloe just laughed. “In 4 years that we’ve known each other, you can’t tell?”
“It’s not like you’re very obvious. I haven’t seen you with anyone since Turd from when we first met.”
“Tom.”
“Whatever.”
“And to answer your question, yes, I’ll probably have to drive to where it is legal. Canada, maybe.”
“Dude, you’d go that far?”
“Why, truth Beca, wouldn’t you?”
A brief hesitation from Beca gave this back-and-forth a short halt. “Maybe. I would.”
“Cool. Maybe we should go.” Chloe turned her head and gave Beca a wink.
“Dude!” The brunette gently pushed Chloe’s cheek so she’d face forward. “Look at where you’re driving!”
Chloe just smiled and teased again, saying, “For all I know, you’re just hiding a blush.”
“Dude, stop.” Beca didn’t want her to know she was right.
Half an hour of silence went by. Near empty roads still dominated their trip. Beca tried reshuffling her music, but decidedly turned the volume low after a while.
“Chlo,” Out of nowhere, she started, “can we pull over?”
“Do you need to go? There’s a gas station in about 3 minutes.”
“Not that. I just need you to not be driving while I say this. Beale, truth, do you think you can l-“
“Hold that thought, Beca Mitchell.” Chloe aggressively gassed it and sped up, they reached the station a minute and 15 seconds early. The car even made a squeaky sound as it stopped to park. Beca was sure she saw the back tires smoke.
Chloe unbuckled herself and turned to the passenger seat. “You were saying?”
Suddenly feeling indecisive, Beca tried to hold back what she was about to confess. “Uhm, I was gonna say, truth: Do you think you can stop for a bathroom break?”
“Mitchell, I swear that’s not what you were gonna say.” Chloe held Beca’s gaze until the other girl looked down on her phone. “Fine, no more truths. Dare. I pick dare.”
“Wait, we’re still playing?”
“Yes. Beca Mitchell, I dare you to ask what you were gonna ask.”
Beca furrowed her brows in slight confusion. “I don’t think you can change the rules.”
“I’m parked now.”
“Chlo, I think it’s best for both of us if I don’t.”
“Just continue, Becs. Do you think I can what?”
Beca sighed in defeat. In a low hushed voice, she uttered, “Do you think you can like me..back.. if I say I like you?”
“What do you mean? I already like you. Is that your truth? Cuz that makes it my turn now.”
“Chloe, I’m not playing anymore.”
“I say dare. I dare you.”
“Chloe, no. You’re misunderstanding me.”
“I dare you to love me.”
It was quiet for a few seconds. Beca could barely look at Chloe and she could tell that the redhead hadn’t looked away from her yet.
“I need some air.” She didn’t wait for a reply. Beca just opened the door and started walking towards the convenience store. Before she could go too far, she heard her name.
“Beca, wait.”
When she looked back, she could see Chloe half-sprinting towards her. “I didn’t mean to scare you with that. I meant it though. I guess I just wanted you to not just like me. I’ve been into you since day one, did you know that? I felt the rush when you asked me if I can ever like you back.”
Beca laughed a little. “Sorry, worst timing for a laugh ever. I just…” she started laughing a bit more, Chloe even joined her. “Did you really just dare me to love you?”
Chloe, in pure happy disbelief, replied, “You can be a little clueless sometimes.” She took a step closer to Beca and leaned in to give her forehead a little kiss. “Let’s get back in the car. We still have almost an hour to drive.”
Beca’s heart raced and with the adrenaline pumping (brought about by their conversation, absurd dare, and a tiny gesture of affection), she volunteered to drive the rest of the way. In one condition. That Chloe didn’t sleep and should talk to her about the possibility of their new relationship.
