Crystal Ball, Purifying, Concecrating & Blessing How I use a Crystal Ball or Scrying Sphere for aiding in Divination, Crystal gazing, also known as crystal seeing, crystallism, crystallomancy, gastromancy, and spheromancy is a method for seeing visions achieved through trance induction by means of gazing at a crystal. The Crystal Ball has an ancient history, and is believed to have been a divination tool used by ancient Celtic Druids, how the famous image image we all have of our minds of Gypsies gazing into Crystal Balls is not known, as most Gypsi Clans were poor travelers. Many Psychics and Mediums are said to employ the method of Crystal balls and Hollywood has imbeded in our Mind the use of Crystal Balls from wonderful Wizards to Wicked Witches. Crystal Ball reading has been used by many famous and historical figures, the most noted is the 16th Century Mistic, Dr John Dee, who along with Medium Channeler Edward Kelly whom recieved messages from Angelic Beings created the tradition of Enochian Magic which is a system of ceremonial magick based on the invocation and commanding of various angelic Spirits. Crystal, Ball, Gazing, Scrying, Sphere, Divination, Crystal gazing, crystallism, crystallomancy, gastromancy, spheromancy, fortune, telling, tellers, psychic, mediumship,

Homemade Aromatherapy Spiritual Alcoholado, Abuelita's Bay Rum Cologne Recipe, Florida Water Similar to Hoyts Cologne, Kananga Water, or Murray & Lanman Florida Water, no other aroma is as popular in Spiritual Work in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean as Alcoholado, or Bay Rum. Do you want your man to smell like the Puerto Rican Pirate, el Pirata Roberto Cofresí y Ramírez de Arellano, this is a cologne or aftershave similar to Florida Water, ( como hacer Agua de Florida ) well known in the Caribbean. The history of Alcoholado, Bay Rum is as manly as it aroma, Pirates and Sailors in the 16th century Caribbean discovered that the West Indian Bay Leaf ( Pimenta Racemosa ), The Bay Rum Tree made a great perfume to freshen up and mask the stink they acquired while being stuck on a ship for months. To apply the scent to themselves, they would rub the dry leaves on their body, thus leaving the fragrant oil on their skin. While sailors were rubbing leaves on themselves, the Rural Jibaro Women were cultivating the plants and soon realized that mixing the fresh leaves of the Pimenta Racemosa with their husband's rum they could naturally extract the aroma and essential oils of the leaves and make a cologne. Puerto Ricans and other islanders took this basic recipe and began adding their own ingredients such as cloves, Allspice, citrus rind, and cinnamon. Soon it became a staple sent in the home of Islanders and began to be used as a Spiritual Cologne by Espiritistas and Curanderos for its curative properties similar to Florida Water. Used in healing sobos this was a staple in my Abuelita's house, and one sent I pass down to Mi Familia and is a sent that is a staple in Hispanic Spiritual homes but one that has been rarely used within Brujeria's American cousin Hoodoo and Conjour.

Ancestral Altar Shrine, Mesa Blanca, Old School Espiritismo This is a simple set up for an Ancestral Altar or Ancestral Shrine that is used within the Puerto Rican Espiritismo tradition such as Espiritismo Mezclao, Espiritismo Folklorico Criollo or Criolla and Espiritismo Cruzado, And Espiritismo de Cordon from Cuba. Many make their altar to complicated and become boggled and confused often weighing ones ancestors instead of elevating them, this is á proper and simple way of doing an altar that will help you focus on your intentions with the Ancestros.

Salem Massachusettes, Halloween, Witches Circle Follow me, Sancista Brujo Luis; around Salem Massachusettes, Holloween Day 2015, as I go through one of my fave cities in Massachusettes. Often known as the Wiccan Capital of the United States, it has become one of my most traveled cities to be around in October and celebrate, Holloween, Día de los Muertos and Samhain. Watch a Pagan Wiccan, Witches Circle, and Procession and some beautiful sites of this lovely coast side New England City. Listen to the beautiful drums played by Dragon Ritual Drummers. The Witch trials were started by some Voodoo games taught to the young girls of Salem by a young Woman from Barbados named Tituba, and with the recent growth of Hispanics and Haitians to Salem, it's beginning to come full circle as Botanicas are springing all over the City, and Vodou, Santeria and Espiritismo has been seeing a growth in the once predominantly Witch City of the United States. Witches, Witch, Wicca, Wiccan, Pagan, Salem, Massachusettes, Tituba, Brujeria, Witchcraft, Brujo, Bruja, Brujeria, Circle, Magic, Magical, Magick, Magickal, Holloween, Shamanism

Not just for your Ancestors but for any elemental protective Spirit Guides, Seres, Muertos, Guías and Protectores that you may have. Traditionally people have kept protective objects by the front and back entrance way of the house, to let others know that the home was protected by Bendita Animas, Espiritus elementalea and Guias Espirituales. Today you will see churches with Gargoyles, Libraries with Lions and Buildings with Indians or Eagles as a symbol that the building is guarded. Traditionally the cunning folk of Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela and the Caribbean Los Espiritistas and Brujos always keep mirrors, Palo de Muertos, statues and protective items in front of doorways, entrances and windows. Used in traditiones such as, Sanci, Sance, Espiritismo Criollo, Espiritismo Cruzado, Espiritismo del Cordon, la Caridad, and María Lionza Espiritismo and some traditiones of Brazilian Umbanda. Sancista Brujo Luis is an American Brujo Espiritista, Sancista Papa Boco, of Puerto Rican decent and resides in Northern Massachusettes around 30 minutes north of Salem, and Boston Ma.

Magic of Palo de Pino, Pine Wood, Bwa Pin. Sacred Tree of Strength and Courage for protection, to the Native Americans it is called the tree of peace, and it is the choice tree for Christmas which of course has it's origins in Ancient Pagan and Druid lore, it is known as Pinus the Tree of thr Nativity, Birthday of the Divine Child, the King of the Waxing Year - December 23rd. The smoke purifies and sacrifices and promotes strength. In Haitian Vodou it is known as Bwa Pin and it is used for heating things up, and sacred to the Petro Lwa for hot and aggressive work, bwa pin sticks are used as boujies which are even hotter than the candles for both aggresive work, to call on these energies for strength and courage. The Dryad Spirit associated with Pine Trees is Pytis or Pinus. Used in Hoodoo for Protection. In Vodou it is a well respected Gran Bwa. I recieve alot of emails and messages about the hat styles I wear, and why. Well here are my top reasons. For #1, I live in New England, Massachusettes' men always wear hats in New England, it's a hidden staple rule in our region of the Country. If you are in Massachusettes this fall you will notice, that almost everyone has a Hat on. #2. Protects your Head from the harsh elements. It gets hot here when it's hot and it gets cold here when it's cold, so I always have something protecting, my Third Eye and Crown, lol. #3. It covers upper inperfections, in my Case, I'm Bald. Lmao, but if you got a bad hair day, hats always do the trick. #4. Makes you look taller, and thinner. I'm 6 feet tall so I look like I'm 7 feet tall hahaha kidding. #5 Adds flair to your wardrobe, and gives a visual message of societal position. Policemen have their style of Hats, Firemen have their style of hats. Gangsters, and yes even Brujos and Santeros. #6 If you are in Salem Ma this Fall, you will notice all the Witches with their Pointy Hats on. #7. I don't let anyone touch my head, this is a sacred area, and only a few have done so, through Ceremony, and only people I trust 100 percent, I don't let anyone go near the crown of my head, so a hat, bandana, or what ever, makes a protective layer and berier. #8. They look so damned Good. One big no no when purchasing a Hat, never purchase online, go out and try them on in a store, see how they feel on your head. Some look good online and look dreadful on your head. So what Hats do I usually wear? Well it depends on the Season. But I always have a Boston Red socks Baseball Cap I throw on, a Fidora. I'm Puerto Rican I need a Pava or two in my closet, anything weaved is ok in my book. And I always have a Fidora, a Porkpie, a Panama, a Trilby, and a Cowboy Hat and for Holloween Season I can't live without my Stockman. I see to often people get stuck in trends, one point the Duck billed Baseball Cap, which I personally don't have in my closet. Be a trend setter, not a carbon copy of the rest, and use your thinking cap, and wear a cool hat. So I hope I answered all the emails and messages. Much love Sancista Brujo Luis

ZOMBI ASTAL, ESPIRITU DE CAUSA. Anima Sola, Intranquil Spirit Known by many names in many cultures, such as Intranquil Spirits, Espíritus Intranquilos, Perturbados, Espiritu Endurecido, these lower lever Spirits or Espíritus de Bajo Astral are often the cause of many an individual's minor problems, and if not dealt with accordingly by a well developed Espiritista, Brujo or Shaman, can cause an individual much harm. El Espiritu de Bajo Astral or Espiritu de Causa also known as a "Zombie Astral" is a part of the human soul that is captured by a Muertero or a Bokor who practices Necromancy and uses the entrapped Soul to either enhance the Bokor's or Muertero's spiritual power, or as a Slave to harm an individual. It is believed both in Haitian Vodou and Puerto Rican Sanse. that, after a time, Bondye, Papa Dios Todopoderoso, (God) will take the soul back and so the Zombie Astral or Espiritu de Causa is a temporary spiritual entity. But with the help of a developed Medium, Espiritista one can speed up the process. It is believed that El Barón del Cementerio, Baron Samedi gathers the souls of the Dead from their grave to bring them to a heavenly afterlife in Guinea, unless they had offended him in some way, in which case they would be forever a slave after death, as a zombie astral.  The easiest way to offend the Barón del Cementerio, is through an unnatural death which is by either a violenr murder, or suicide, which causes the soul not to be able to cross the threshhold into the realm of the Ancestors, and linger close to the realm of the living. Legend tells the tale of how when men where crucified, women where in charge of taking a pale of water and from a sponge attached to a long wooden pole, they would soak it in water and would give the crucified victims water to quench their thirst. On the evening of Good Friday when Jesus Christ was crucified a woman by the name Maria Celestina Abdenago brought water to the three upon the cross. She gave Dysmas and Gesmas water but for some reason she feared the savior, and did not give him water to drink. When Maria Celestina Abdenago died many years later she was sent to purgatory for denying the savior water. Another legend tells the tale of how Maria Celestina Abdenago was a sorceress who practiced the black arts and when Jesus was carrying the heavy wooden cross through the streets, as he passed her house she ran into the street, up to him and spat in his face. Thus going to purgatory for her offense and insult done to the savior. A popular Mexican and Spanish Anima Sola is el Anima Sola de Juan Minero, or John the Miner. For his sins on earth Juan Minero toils and labors hard in purgatory mining coal to feed the flames of both Hell and purgatory. His sin, tradition says that in a fit of rage he would enter into Holy Temples and shrines and defile the altars, by blowing out candles and stealing lanterns and spilling holy water on the ground. The most popular image of an Anima Sola depicts a woman in a dungeon set into flames as she looks up towards the heavens. Her chains are broken and she looks at peace, as if the flames consuming her soul do not bother her. She patiently awaits the saviors forgiveness of her sins, as her arms are stretched upwards as if the savior has sent the Queen of Angels to set her free from her torment. The infamous famous image of the Anima Sola is of Maria Celestina Abdenago. This is also known as la Anima Sola Más Desamparada. Many who don't know much of the Anima Sola assume that there is only one, when in reality there are countless souls in the "Catholic' purgatory or lower spiritual plane, cleansing there sinful souls before being forgiven and reaching a higher spiritual plane. The Lone Souls in Purgatory are not evil spirits, as their souls are not damned to a Catholic Hell persay, they are the souls of sinners who because of their mortal sins cannot reach the Kingdom of Heaven until there souls have been purified from their earthly wrong doings.  Many people in Latin American counties pray to the Anima Sola and they are often invoked in love spells. On Mondays they are offered water, a white candle to give them light and many offer them cigars, cigarettes and strong liquor such as rum, whiskey or a can of beer. The Anima Sola are venerated on el Dia de las Animas, November 2nd the day of All Souls Day, as special Masses are done in honor of them. In Mexico this day is called, El Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. In Haitian Vodou, Mambo Marinette is a cruel and vicious loa who was elevated to a lwa after her death. In her Petro form she is called Marinette Bras Cheche / Marinette Bwa Chech (Marinette of the Dry Arms) or Marinette Pied Cheche (Marinette of the Dry Feet) suggesting that she is skeletal. She is believed to be the Mambo who sacrificed the black pig at the culmination of the start of the first Haitian Revolution. While she is feared and tends to ride those she possesses violently, she can also be seen as one who frees her people from bondage. Mambo Marinette is represented by a screech owl and is often seen as the protector of werewolves. Her Catholic counterpart is the Anima Sola or the Forsaken Soul of Purgatory who can either free one from bondage or drag you back. Her colors are black and deep blood red. Mambo Marinette is not cruel. She only gets cruel in possession, when people burn animals or humans. Her colors are red and black. She likes Salvia, black pepper, lavender and sweets. In Sanse she is viewed as Mambo Maiza, and works as an incubus / succubus that works under Papa Legba. In Cuban Santeria she is Antonia Gervasio. In the times of slavery, Antonia Gervasio was a beautiful some say mulatto others say black woman who was born and died in the Ocha Lukumi Santería faith. She had a lover who brutally rapped her and beat her, and then proceeded bind her to a tree and lit a bonfire and burn her alive. Before she died a painful and horrible death Antonia Gervasio cursed the lover and all his decendants. In the Venezuela tradition of Maria Lionza Espiritismo their exists many famous Animas such as Francisca Duarte, el ánima de Taguapire who is known as Mama Pancha, or Panchita Durante, others such as José Zambrano, el Anima de Pica Pica, Maximiliano González, el ánima de la Yaguara, Juan Salazar el Anima de Güigüe, Anima de José Gregorio Rivera, Anima de Juan Bautista Morillo, El Anima del Padre Magne, López Chirinos, el anima del Chaparro, Anima dw Flores Brito, Anima de Jacinta Flores, El ánima del Samán Llorón, Anima de María Francia and the now famous amongst young Venezuelan María Lionzero Espiritistas as Las Animas de la Corte Cale o Malandra, each with their own colorful history and legend. Vodou, Macumba, Quimbanda, Santeria, Espiritismo, Cruzado, Hoodoo, Ghede, Guede, Umbanda, Brujeria, Necromancy, Occult, Voodoo, Witchcraft, Witches, Zombi, Papa, Bokor, Boco, Boko, Sansista, Intranquil, Spirits, MUERTO PUESTO, MUERTO REPUESTO

ESPIRITISMO ESSENTIALS. Espiritistas Emergency Kit The Espiritismo Misa Espiritual Essential Emergency Kit, that no true Espiritista in their rite mind should ever leave their home without it!!! I get this question alot, on what someone should bring and not bring to a Sesion Espiritista a Misa or a Velada Espiritual. So I decided to make a simple video on what someone should bring atleast to a Traditional Mesa Blanca Espiritual in the Puerto Rican and other Caribbean branches of Espiritismo. I want to dedicate this Video to my Godson Tony Sancista, who I am proud of and who always goes prepared to Misas, Sesiones and Veladas Espirituales as it was once practiced by the old folk "los Viejitos" of my Puerto Rican, Borinquen ( Borike - Borique - Puerto Rico ) Island. THE SIXTH 6th AND SEVENTH 7th BOOK OF MOSES My second installment in my Grimoire Collection videos, the first being The Book of Oberon by Daniel Harms, and Joseph H Petterson, with sigil drawn by James R Clark. The second video is of The Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses or The 6th and 7th Book of Moses edited by Joseph Petterson. My love and interests in Grimoires began with books by Anna Riva, and her now classic little Grimoire titled Secrets of Magical Seals, A Modern Grimoire of Amulets Charms Symbols and Talismans, which latter led me to Purchase the Puerto Rican author / Writter book of the version of the 6th and 7th Books of Moses which was published by Original Publications in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Well respected book in the Southern American Hoodoo traditions and gaining interest within the English speaking Hispanic Latino populations of the Mane lands of the United States, which incorporate these works within their Brujeria traditions. I hope you enjoy, please press like, leave a comment and subscribe. THE BOOK OF OBERON GRIMOIRE A BRUJO'S REVIEW The Book of Oberon: A Sourcebook of Elizabethan Magic Many people ask me what reason and purpose does a Puerto Rican Sancista, Espiritista, and Papa Boco " Papa Bokor / Lwa" has collecting Grimoires and Books of Shadows. Ever since I was young I have always had a deep love and respect for Occult knowledge and Arcane magical practices and Mysteries; especially Judeo-Christian Magic. Many people think Espiritismo is similar to Southern Conjour and Hoodoo which is far from the truth, Hoodoo is more akin to Latin American Brujeria, as many sects of Brujeria have similar roots and traits to Souther American Hoodoo, such as Native American Shamanism and African Congo Bantu Magic, with a mixture of Christian mostly Catholic lore. Both Brujos and Espiritistas understand that unlike modern neo-paganism and Wicca, Brujeria as well as Espiritismo are not religions but spiritual and magical paths that have their roots in Ancient pre-religious Shamanistic practices which predates all man made religions. Most Espiritistas and Brujos, may they be from Puerto Rico, Spain, México, Brazilian or Venezuela "Witches" have been influenced by the religions of the land but still hold to their ancient ways, although often unknown to the Brujo. In Latin American countries, the Curandero Shaman paths and African Yoruba and Congo traditions have been influenced greatly by Roman Catholicism which has been interwoven into the beauty and arts of what is Hispanic Brujeria and Southern American Hoodoo "Gafe / Gaferia". I have been asked to do Videos on some of my collections of Grimoires and Books of Shadows that I as a Brujo collect and that have influenced my spiritual path, and will be doing book reviews sporadically on some of the books within my collection, which are heavily influenced on the Kabala, King Solomon, Moses and other Judeo Christian magical paths that can be used in your Hoodoo " Budú Gafe", Brazilian Quimbanda or Macumba and Brujeria practices. In Brujeria we try to fill in the dots and understand that the man known as Jesus Christ was both a medium and a Brujo, just as was King Solomon, and Moses. We try to find the ancient coronation within these highly elevated masters, and their similarities with ancient Spirits such as Cernunos, and Osiris-Dionysus and other elevated Pagan Spirits. We don't argue nor care if they are the same Spirits or difrent interpretation, paths or avatars of the same energy, nor if they are seperate entities altogether. Many believe that our ways are the ways of "el Diablo" the Devil, we believe in both the Mysteries of positive and negative energies in the Universe, these energies that our limited human minds, can not fully grasp nor comprehend; that cosmic duality we simply call good and evil. We often say, all is of God, and if it's of the Devil and not of God, which is the cause of all causes, than this God is not God as this God has no control in an area or mystery in the universe. Brujos believe in the balance of both good and evil, in both positive and negative energies, which can be often a dangerous less traveled path that can lead one to Spiritual enlightment. We also believe that if not harnest correctly or respected these two paths can lead to one's destruction or to one's spiritual evolución, you can't have one energy with out the other. To make it clear I do not practice and am not a member of the Golden Dawn or practice Hermetic Ceremonial Magick nor am I a Necromancer or practice Necromancy, as most of these Grimoires are based on those traditions, but I incorporate them as most Brujos do into my personal Brujeria. I do not invoke Lower Level Spirits or lower level demons as I only work with the Spirits of my Cuadro Espiritual, but I do use some of the Conjuros and seals in these Tomes and Grimoires in my personal daily practices. I remember one time a famous Puerto Rican Brujo from New York once say to me, Hoodoo was the latest craze, which I remember thinking and looking at him like he had three heads. Hoodoo is Brujeria brother, and it's nothing new to a Puerto Rican or Latin American Brujo. In the future I'll do a Video Bondye Sambia willing of my own Grimoire. I will begin with newer Grimoires in my collection and go from their. If you enjoy these videos, please hit like, subscribe and leave a message down below. Sancista Brujo Luis
