A break from Zelda content for a request of my little sis who is a huge ATLA fan! I binged the series on Netflix a few years ago (lol) and i really liked it!! The animation and story were so so impressive, and it was WAY deeper than i expected, so i was pleasantly surprised! My only dislike... was that, imo, the whole storyline was set up for zutara, so... i thrive in my delusion 😂 Anyways, this was also a fun excuse to practice with some new, fun brushes, and i really enjoyed working on this piece!!

The one and only MIDNA!! 🧡 This was a WIP that i never finished, finally got around to fully rendering it 😁 Honestly, this summer has been exhausting and crazy busy lol, but i'm trying to still find time to do art on occasion! Life gets crazy, as i'm sure you all know!

Hi anon! Thanks so much for your ask, and even more for your patience!! I wanted to explore the dichotomy between the sweetness of OOT little link, and the darkness of the Hero's Shade from TP... anyway, i hope you like it! 🩵 I had a lot of fun with the style of this one too! Life has been crazy busy with not a lot of time for art, so when I do have time, I like to do things that have creative freedom :) I will try to work on answering more requests soon!

jellyfish dragon 🩵🪼 another piece i did for class!! tried some new brushes for this one too so it was a lot of fun!

my family is heading to vacation in the BVI tomorrow, with all eight people in my family plus my mom's parents, so it might be pretty crazy! also i might not have time to do art... what else is new 😭

here's one of my pieces for my 2D design class! we had to pick an object/form and explore it in 8 different styles and i choose a jellyfish 🪼🩵

not quite sure where this one came from, but i was inspired by willow trees, and how they are somewhat similar looking to a jellyfish, so i made a sort of magical-looking spirit tree 😂 art is subjective so interpret it how you will! this was a fun experimental piece and definitely looks like someplace the LU boys would explore 😉

this might be a good time to explain my literal three month absence haha... amidst exams and family craziness, i haven't had a lot of time to do art for my little blog, and the art that I have done is all for classes! also, i actually lost access to tumblr for a bit because someone nearly hacked into all my accounts and i had to change everything 😭

but anyway! school is FINALLY over and so i hope to be more active again now!! thanks again for your kind words!!

Summertime Dream 🩵

Here is a piece I did for school! It was for an exhibition that I was not aware of so I had to do the entire thing in one day since submissions close tomorrow 😂😬 Anyway, this is a deviation from what I usually post, but honestly, i've been so busy with classes that i haven't had much time for any fanart 😭

Anyway, i hope you like it! just a pretty and fun painting and i'm proud of how quickly i was able to put it together lol. Hope you all are doing well and having a wonderful March!! 😊🩵

So its kinda funny but my family has like a generational Zelda thing lol. My grandma would always help my dad and all of his friends beat the levels of the original Legend of Zelda, and my dad played quite a bit as well when he was a little boy. let's just say the LOZ obsession has been passed on to me!

When i was i think around 7, my dad (who is a software genius) got Ocarina of Time on a Raspberry Pi and i played it on his computer and LOVED it from the beginning! Then, i played Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword on the Wii, then when the Switch came out, i got my hands on every zelda game possible lol and my uncle and i beat BOTW together, which is a very special memory for me!

For me, LOZ is incredible because of the story, the lore, the stunning visuals, the fantastic music, but honestly like it is so deep and emotionally moving. it isn't just a videogame... it's a legacy. and i think it's super cool to be a small part of that with generations of other Zelda fans!! 🩵

When did you get into LoZ, and how?

For me, I played BotW years ago and really enjoyed it but couldn’t get really into any of the other games. About a year and a half ago (I think?) I happened upon Linked Universe. I didn’t know who half the cast was but I was SMITTEN. After that I started ALBW and it was all over for me.

so... as we all know, BOTW recently turned eight years old.

and this was like, so shocking to me. because to me it feels like it JUST came out, but it was EIGHT ENTIRE YEARS AGO! YEARS!!

i have never had anything in my life that made me feel so old. like, ok, if it HAS really been eight years, then ummm, where did those eight years go?! because if that wasn't a total blink i don't know what is

i remember begging my dad to get me a Nintendo Switch for Christmas (since i was too little to have real money to buy it) and (long story short) i ran cross country with undiagnosed walking pneumonia to win a bet with my dad lol 🤣 (#desperation)

i did end up getting it... and i remember first playing it was one of the coolest feelings in the world. not my first Zelda game, but it definitely had a huge impact on me. so, happy belated birthday to this incredible and gorgeous game and to LU Wild!! 🩵

After a VERY long hiatus in this series... Tiana and Time!! I wanted to do something sweet and nostalgic feeling for this one, and i had the idea to do some southerners cooking together!! I imagine that Time wanted to make a sweet surprise for Malon, and Tiana was more than happy to help out, since food is Naveen's love language too! I did a fun, 1920's style, almost flapper outfit design, since i couldn't find a specific dress of hers that i thought was fitting for the scene lol 😂

i think tiana and time would be wonderful friends! also, malon and time and tiana and naveen could go on double dates and talk about their silly spouses and also their crazy life stories!! malon and tiana would make the best food too!

on a more serious note, time and tiana do have a lot of similarities; they both value hard work and the importance of family, as well as both having traumatic transformation experiences (cough cough Majora's Mask). Time had his own Bayou Adventure a la the Jungle Cruise in Majora's Mask. both have had odd experiences with strange voodoo like magic, and both had to learn the value of finding love despite their difficult upbringings. overall, i love that you guys picked this pairing!! 🩵

oh, by the way... i headcanon that Malon has a sweet tooth because 1) it just fits her personality, and 2) i imagine that she probably snuck some sugar cubes for epona and herself when she was a little girl (based off of my own personal experience with horses when i was little 😂🤭)

i finally made it to spring break!! my sister and i almost ran out of gas on the way so that was a little scary but we made it lol 😂 and i have to say, one of the things i missed the most about home is this darling little pupper:

her name is Cosette!! aka cozy, and she's basically a live stuffed animal lol. she's been sleeping on my legs, and every once in a while just looks up at me with big sad eyes. i think she missed me 😭🩵

so, i love listening to music while i work, but does anyone else ever listen to a song and just like... randomly stop whatever you're doing and start bawling? but then like... you feel way better than you did before because music has such an incredible power to affect our emotions??

i love music so much, especially like instrumental/orchestral covers, i could rant about it forever lol.

anyway, this is the song that made me cry if anyone is interested and likes emotional pretty music like i do 😂🩵

aww, thank you for saying that! creativity is a strange thing; it often hits when i don't have time to use it lol, and sometimes i find my ideas dried up when i do have free time. so i appreciate your patience and your kind words!! since i am a full time double major at college, free time is often a luxury, but i am slowly chipping away at requests and other projects :)
