Something about Rhoam as a character I like is how it allows us to contrast his treatment with how Urbosa, Sonia and Rauru treat Zelda. I feel like if Rhoam wasn't the way he was, we wouldn't be able to appreciate that aspect of them quite as much. It makes that Zelda loses the only positive parental figures she had in her life that much more tragic.
