I'm saving up for a drawing pad and a good drawing program. I'm thinking iPad Pro or iPad Air (for the price difference) and procreate, mainly because there are long courses with hundreds of thtorials for procreate on Patreon, and I never even tried digital drawing, except for trying Ibis Paint X with my pinkie on my Android phone, and that wasn't very fun.

What do you use and what do you recommend? I'm thinking a little, if I'm going to save money one year for an iPad Air, I might as well save for 15 months and buy a Pro. (I don't like to buy on credit, because I forget to pay my bills if I don't have auto pay through my bank.)

How many gigs do I need if I'm going to use the pad for drawing, watching movies, saving YouTube tutorials and draw with it? Is 128 enough, or do I need 256?

Honestly, I have absolutely zero experience with drawing an IPad. In my experience in digital art, I've been using IbispaintX (on my android phones) for years and using my finger or my phone stylus to draw. 😅

BUT I did a bit of research in hopes that it would help

For digital art, it says the IPad Pro is better for performance and storage while the Ipad Air is better for the price and is still a capable option.

For digital art and personal use, 128 is considered enough unless you're work is more detailed and layered and your files are bigger. If that's the case then 256 would probably be the better option.

I apologize for not being able to answer based on experience. Hopefully, this answer was helpful. 😁

The thought of adding in Adam has crossed my mind. I admit, I didn't have a plan when I started this, but that sort of changed after I realized how much I enjoyed it. The plan is to get the hotel characters done and then move on to Lilith, the Vees, etc.
