So I try to stay out of any hellaverse discourse or whatever and I only recently became a fan of Hazbin last year… that being said I HAD NO IDEA THERE WAS A WHOLE DEC*PIT*TION THING W VAGGIE???? Like??? Tf?
And it’s only now that I’m seeing it lol. Like you had mentioned the disgusting art that was pretty early on in the shows beginnings on Twitter, but now I’m seeing more and more of it resurface like it was somehow summoned to me? Even the “cutesy” dec*p is just somehow weird to me.
(But it works for eda.. maybe bc it’s like a canon part of her character idk) now I’m just rambling out loud.
Don’t even get me started on the other gross p*do shit that’s also going around. I’m just appalled. Why do fans gotta be like this?
(Context for tumblr folks: this is about a recent twitter thread revealing multiple violent art of Vaggie by multiple people during the show's pilot era and a fairly popular Ch*ggie artist who made art where Vaggie is a "loli". The ch*ggie artist is only on Twitter tho so u dont have to worry here)
If you want a serious answer? A lot of people think that just because we're dealing with content about fictional characters, that it means all bets are off. While fiction is a helpful way to explore darker topics to either process things or cope with trauma without actually doing them, a lot of people in fandom don't really consider the fact that there are still real people interacting with that piece of fictional art that will feel real feelings and react in the real world. If you're going to create content that hurts people's feelings or behave in a way that would, even if it's a "joke", you have to be prepared for the consequences that it may entail. If you just don't give a fuck, then you're an asshole not because you're "hurting" a fictional character, but because you're making violent art of an otherwise harmless character that means a lot to a minority group for petty reasons. That character you hate isn't real, but the fans of that character that you're being very rude to either in direct interactions or unnecessary hate posts that invade their fandom corners are very real people. Hating a ship by itself isn't necessarily bad either, but expressing it with so much passion that you'd go so far as draw gore of a lesbian character to have your het ship bond over may imply things about you that goes beyond just discourse over ship preferences.
"It's just a ship! Why are you so pressed?" they might say, but that's exactly the point. It's just a gay character/ship. Why are you so full of vitriolic hate over them?
Even with the case for people into lolicon art. While you're not hurting real kids, you're damaging your own psyche by continuing to indulge in such a thing with the intention of having it arouse you. What people like that need is therapy to somehow overcome it, not feed it. It ain't good for you.
Anyways. This fandom sure is. Something.
#CW gore mention#CW pedophilic art mentioned#i need season 2 BAD so that this disgusting fandom isnt the only thing i see just to satisfy my hyperfixation#i miss getting to watch a new episode every week in a show that has 20+ eps per season#that way i consume more of the actual material rather than just this delusional fandom

Hello! Just want to start this off by saying that I love your blog and I find your posts very informative. I’m a sucker for character analysis and you manage to do it very well.
I had a question about the language aspect of Twisted Wonderland. I saw a screenshot of the novel and in it, it talked about how the Yuuya felt that their words were being translated automatically. Is this a novel only thing? Does the language aspect get explored further past that one page in the novels? Why are their words getting translated and yet other phrases in other languages are not(Rook’s French)? What are your thoughts about this and do you know of any popular discourse surrounding this topic?
My apologies if this is something you’ve talked about before.
Hello hello! Thank you for this question, you are too kind!! m(_ _)m
(For everyone's reference, here is the paragraph in question!)
1. Is this a novel only thing? Thus far this explanation of how Yuuya is able to communicate in Twisted Wonderland has appeared only in the novel, with no mention to similar systems at work in the game or manga!
Yuuya is even capable of reading his textbooks! While it is all vocabulary with which he is unfamiliar he is still able to comprehend the words on the pages, which he possibly wouldn't be able to do without the translation taking place.
(An example might be someone who only speaks French being able to read text written in Japanese but still struggling with unfamiliar magic terms that they wouldn't have understood in their native language anyway.)
2. Does the language aspect get explored further past that one page in the novels?
This aspect has yet to be explored, referenced or even mentioned beyond the one paragraph listed above!
And this lack of an explanation is fascinating 📝 There is no line by Crowley of "Yes there is a translation spell on the island," or "Everyone who arrives through their respective gate is blessed by the Dark Mirror with the ability to understand and be understood," or anything at all!
We are not even given a hint that Crowley--or anyone--knows it is happening. All we have is the one thought from the perspective of a confused Yuuya trying to make sense of his situation.
3. Why are their words getting translated and yet other phrases in other languages are not(Rook’s French)?
We do not know! 🥳 And Rook is not alone, with other characters occasionally using untranslated English-language words both in the game and novel (novel-Ace says "Thank you" in English, novel-Sam says "Hey," etc.)
Is it possible that the system does not replace words that the listener recognizes? Is Rook actually speaking French 100% of the time, but as the prefect recognizes words such as "oui" and beauté," they are not being filtered?
4. What are your thoughts about this and do you know of any popular discourse surrounding this topic?
I found this thread on twstsoku where someone suggests that the cast all understands one another and it is only Yuuya who is having what he says and hears translated for him in real time.
Ideas from other commenters are:
1. "Hypothetically, for example: If Esperanto, which is based on Latin, were used as the common language, and the translation magic worked depending on the native language's distance from it:
German speakers, Japanese speakers → translation needed (as determined by the magic)
Italian speakers → translation not very necessary (as determined by the magic)
French speakers → grammatically, translation is almost unnecessary (as determined by the magic), but their speech is the hardest to understand.
Something like that? Just an example, though."
2. "Wasn't there a part in Ruggie's birthday outfit story where he said he memorized greetings in 10 different languages?"
And I found a similar thread from 2021 (before the novel was released) on this topic, where commenters were discussing whether or not Twst's common language is meant to be English:
1. "OP here, I personally don’t think it’s a common language with the real world, so I hadn’t considered it much.
But if it’s English, that means Twisted Wonderland has a geography and history similar to the real world, with just different country names, etc. I won’t go into too much detail, but English is a branch of the Germanic languages within the Indo-European family, and it contains a lot of words derived from neighboring Western European countries. So, it wouldn’t be English as we know it today unless they followed the same geographical and historical path.
Alternatively, it could be a wholly fantastical world without a history of its own, which just popped into existence one day.
Personally, I’d feel a bit disappointed with both ideas—either that Twisted Wonderland is exactly the same as the real world or that it just popped up suddenly. I’d prefer to think of it as a world with a different language."
2. "If we’re talking about the development of language, it’s not a coincidence that there’s food in Twisted Wonderland identical to what exists in the real world. If Twisted Wonderland is a mirror of our world, it wouldn’t be surprising if they walked a similar historical path."
3. "That’s true! When you think about the design of their clothes, smartphones, and other scientific equipment, it makes sense. So either they followed a similar history, or we’re not meant to think too deeply about it as a fantasy world—those seem like the two options. Hmm, tough choice."
4. "If there were translation magic, there would be no need to study animal linguistics."

5. "Azul’s contract → written in English Words Rook sometimes uses → in French In Ghost Marriage, the opening of Rook’s poem is “I love you” → in Japanese The prefect understands the language → So, is there translation magic? Epel’s dialect isn’t understood → So, there isn’t translation magic?
It’s turning into a bit of a chaotic language situation."
6. "In the beans event, there’s a part where Jamil’s bento is brought up and some says 'that's what they're called in other places,' so it seems pretty decided that there are different languages across regions. But maybe we’re not supposed to think too deeply about it."
--
These are all fascinating points! ^^ Epel is a particular outlier ashis original dialect is, by design, almost incomprehensible (on JP), but maybe whatever translation is going on just does not have his particular village's speech patterns loaded into it? 🧐
Or maybe as a "mirror" to the real world, everyone actually is using Japanese with the occasional English and French outliers, but the language itself is mirrored--they're speaking backwards--and the filter is merely putting words front-to-back for the prefect to understand? ^^ So many possibilities!

This Bychance discourse got old the second it started.
For Bychancers: If you sent death threats over it, that’s embarrassing and I hope you feel bad about it and learn to be better people. When I first got on Tumblr I thought crosstagging policers were annoying, but I started abiding by the rules and respecting them. If you choose to keep crosstagging into Byler because you have some righteous belief that “bychance IS an aspect of Byler and its plotline, themes & symbolism. And it’s inherently tethered to it”, that’s annoying and you need to get off your high horse. People have most likely already read what your theories entail and they don’t agree. Stay off the Byler tag or use *Byler, be respectful.
For Bylers: I fear this is unfortunately a great example of maybe what Milevens feel minus any homophobia they feel towards us. We don’t like how Bychance has invaded our space, we shouldn’t do the same to them. We can’t change their minds and we shouldn’t try to, just like the Bychancers are kind of doing now. Please don’t call them delusional, it’s not nice and we don’t like being called that either. They’re not crazy, they’re theorizers just like we are. We need to stay respectful and as people have said, block the tag if we feel so strongly.
My opinion: I don’t like Bychance at all. I understand some of you may think it’s a potential plot device and I enjoy that you have all looked deeply into the show just as we all have. Bychance unfortunately just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t think that’s something the writers should/will go for. I’ve been icked since the beginning because of the age gap and I understand the “parallels” you’ve drawn up, but a gay boy who doesn’t believe he’ll fall in love switching up from Mike to date a random who is too old for him is really gross to me. Having a shitty first boyfriend would just be too cruel. There was one artist in particular I will not name who used the caption “I heard Byers is dating a senior” and I immediately hated it. I know Chance’s age isn’t confirmed (on the wiki it says he was born 1967-68), but if he’s on the basketball team (if I remember correctly Lucas was the only freshman allowed on the team) and he’s as close to Jason as he seems to be, he’s probably the same age as Jason. No thank you. There’s plenty of reasons why I don’t like the pairing, I know Bychancers think it’s a plot device for Byler, but I think it’s super unnecessary.

It's days like today that make me want to leave this fandom. Policing others to make yourselves look good is in complete opposition to the message GO tries to convey, IMO.
Thank you for your level headedness and patience on dealing with the people who piled on you with their negativity.
Here's hoping we can make it to the s3 release without anymore of this BS.
(Grouping together for ease of answering.)
Anon #1: Thank you very much for your kind words! I truly do appreciate it, though I don't feel like I did anything extraordinary or special. I was just appalled at the chaos that was unfolding in the fandom and how some people seemed to be encouraging it or even using it for their own self-serving purposes.
The interesting thing about a situation like today is how quickly it caused some people to show their true colors. You mentioned a pile-on, and that is exactly what happened--starting in the comments on my post where I had originally shared the concept art, with people attacking me and calling me a "disgrace" when all I was trying to do was make sense of the insanity and misinformation that was flying around. More than that, it was a comment that was completely out of order and unnecessary given the context of the situation.
Not long after this, I was told that someone had actually made a whole callout post about me. The post was made by someone who is part of a group of people who run a blog dedicated to harassing and sending abuse to me and others for the better part of a year now, and while I will not link to it (though it is in the tags and can be found if you search for my blog name), the content of this post involved telling people to harass me into taking down my post.
But the thing is, dozens (if not more) blogs posted the same photo that I did. Other blogs posted every single one of the concept art photos. I posted exactly one photo...and yet it was my blog that was singled out, by name. If this callout post was purely about defending the artist or GO, that would be an entirely different matter. But to single someone out like that is to put the focus on them and make them a target. So it seems to me that in this case, defending the artist/GO was nothing more than a convenient excuse for this person to show what a "good" fan they are by attacking a "bad" fan who they knew they could get others to easily go after.
And as you said, Anon #1, that is very much the opposite of the message that GO espouses, so it is ironic and unfortunate that so many people seem to have missed it.
As to your comments, Anon #2, the first thing you said is exactly what several other folks have said to me today. That if the person who contacted GON is a colleague of the artist whose work was "leaked," why would that person not just directly contact the artist (or a supervisor, a producer...hell, literally anyone other than a fan account)? There is no logical reason why someone who works on the show would reach out to a fan account (and as you said, one with a significantly smaller reach than FYGO) if the goal and intention was to get the pictures taken down.
And again, regarding the fever pitch to which discourse rose around the possibility of GO 3 being cancelled, I will echo a sentiment that I read on Twitter earlier, which is that it is frankly ridiculous to think that Amazon would cancel the show over concept images...but not over the SA allegations related to NG. In no way is this meant to diminish the seriousness of those allegations, either, but only to illustrate that if Amazon was dead-set on cancelling GO 3, they had more than ample reason to do so long before now.
None of this even remotely passes the smell test. It just doesn't. And the fact that so many people have been afraid to ask questions or discuss this openly is deeply concerning, because there is nothing wrong with asking questions. If you are genuinely worried that your friends or other fans will go off or get upset with you just for disagreeing with them or for saying "Hey, this seems weird to me, I'm not sure what to think"...are those really the people you want to be talking to? Just something to think about. So yes, I'm with you, Anon #1, as I also hope we can make it to the GO 3 release without any more of this drama. I know how easy it is to get caught up in everything, but if people would’ve just stopped and thought critically about these things for five minutes today, maybe a lot of this could have been avoided...
#anonymous#reply post#good omens#good omens 3#good omens 3 spoilers#fandom woes#why do people do this#it costs absolutely nothing to just stop. think. listen.#and yet#i am just glad that what i wrote has been helpful to folks in the fandom#thank you all you lovely people for being here#thoughts#discourse

An Alternative Look at Luke Castellan AKA My Ideas of a Rewrite
or by another name: My Rewrite of an Inconsistent Villain to that of a Tragic Fallen Hero
*Spoilers ahead, if anyone doesn't know Luke's fate yet.*
I’ve noticed that a lot of discourse on Luke is complicated and full of headcanons. Some posters believe he did go to Elysium, some do not. A lot of it revolves around how he is an interesting villain with understandable motives in concept, but actual execution of his character was not consistent. This is because Books 1-2 in the series present Luke differently from Books 3-5. As several posters have discussed before at length, arguably Luke was not fleshed out to have meaningful relationships and his motives are conflicting (is he a sadistic villain as he wants to watch the world burn, or a sympathetic one who just wants to improve the lives of demigods?). A good example of this is his relationship with Annabeth. He abruptly started caring about Annabeth in Book 3 after ordering her to be killed a book before. Adding onto that is how he had no romantic interest in her before Book 5, but suddenly asked her if she did love him, with several characters in-universe later saying that question was asked romantically. Thus, sparking different interpretations of Luke's character that depends on what books you remember the most. (Credit to this post in particular for the ideas mentioned above: https://www.reddit.com/r/camphalfblood/comments/xkjwuk/my_many_problems_with_luke_castellan_pjo/ )
The previous long intro paragraph is mainly just to get into the topic of how Luke’s character could have been written to be more consistent throughout the series. I will be presenting my ideas for a more tragic/fallen hero type of antagonist that is sympathetic enough that more people may feel like he should have ended up in Elysium after earning “redemption” via committing murder/suicide. This will involve trying to lessen the crimes Luke committed and making him have a sadder backstory to try to achieve the sympathetic part of sympathetic villain. Of course, when I originally started thinking of posting this idea, I had mere bullet points featuring just motives. But then I realized this would actively change the plot of several books (which I didn’t originally want as I myself am not attempting to rewrite the plot of the books lol) in an attempt to make him not evil, and more of an antagonist. In the process, I also found myself realizing that my ideas only work in an alternate universe in which the side characters in the camp are more fleshed out and more of Percy’s time is spent at the camp so you care more about them. And care enough about them that you understand why some may join Kronos’ Army willingly. And just a side note, I found myself wishing that the characters were aged up. That the prophecy was at 18, and that Luke would be 22/23 when Annabeth and Percy were around 17/18. I suppose when you start writing about trauma, you start to not want to involve even younger ages than you have to.
But here you go, the overly elaborate and unnecessary rewrite:
Background/Before the books:
Thalia/Luke are around the same age and meet up a year or two after running away from their respective homes. They have the same adventures, meet up with Annabeth, run into Grover.
When Luke starts getting more aggressive with monsters after meeting Hermes in a bid to get recognized as a hero by him, Thalia tells him off for his reckless nature, as it would put Annabeth in danger and make it harder for Thalia to lead their trio. Luke agrees, promising to put his found family first, over his grudge against his father.
Annabeth is around 9, Luke and Thalia are around 15 when they come across Camp Half-Blood. Thalia sacrifices herself and becomes a tree.
Luke and Annabeth are distraught. Luke feels anger and loss acutely, but remembers his promise to Thalia about taking care of Annabeth. He splits his time in camp training to be stronger and taking care of Annabeth in an overprotective manner as he sees her as his last family member. The other camp members interact with Luke, trying to give him support and get him to ease up. They respect him a lot for being able to survive so long on the run with two other demigods. He eventually starts bonding with them, seeing them as like-minded people who have also suffered like him.
A year later, when Luke is 16, Hermes thinks that maybe giving Luke the glory that comes with a completed quest may stop him from going down a dark path. He gives Luke the quest of the golden apple, thinking that a quest of Hercules would be pretty glorious and that maybe stealing something would be right up his alley.
Luke takes two campers with him on the quest. A kid of Aphrodite/Apollo to try and see if they can sweet-talk Atlas (like Hercules) and an unclaimed kid from the Hermes cabin who Luke doesn’t necessarily get along with but recognizes their ability
He has misgivings about the quest being a repeat, but follows along with the excitement of his two buddies. The Aphrodite/Apollo kid dies before they make it to the garden, maybe in an indirect way because of the gods (like Bianca’s death in Titan’s Curse). The unclaimed kid dies saving Luke’s life while fighting Ladon. Luke is able to grab a claw of Ladon’s, but not an apple, failing his quest.
He ends up with a massive scar from his hairline down to chin that also blinds his right eye.
At the funeral of the unclaimed, they use a funeral shroud with the symbol of Camp Half-Blood or that of a knight defeating a dragon on it. Upon realizing that the kid would remain unclaimed, Luke feels even more anger at the thought that not even a glorious death at the gods’ bidding would get their parents to acknowledge them. He realizes the neglect of the minor gods and unclaimed kids in the camp runs deeper than he thought.
Half-blind, grieving, and upset that their losses were in vain for a repeat of Hercules' quest (one in which not even Hercules fought the dragon), Luke withdraws from people and stews in his anger.
At this point, Kronos appears in Luke’s dreams. At first Luke rejects Kronos because Kronos is also an immortal, but Kronos gains Luke’s attention by saying he knows a way to revive Thalia from the tree. That the gods knew all along that Thalia could be revived, but chose not to do so, instead giving Luke a pointless quest. With the promise of Thalia being brought back, Luke dreams of a world in which the demigods no longer have to obey the gods and die due to the gods’ neglect, and he can be happy with Annabeth and Thalia in Camp Halfblood. Half-blind, both literally and in resentment, Luke forges a deal with Kronos wherein Luke swears upon the River Styx to help resurrect Kronos while Kronos brings back Thalia and doesn’t hurt Annabeth. Kronos, arrogant enough to think a few mortals won’t hurt his plan, and uncaring of breaking an oath after he gets revived, agrees.
Luke starts preparing plans to revive Kronos. He is blinded by his wrath against the gods and doesn’t think of what exactly would happen post-downfall of Olympus, a topic Kronos doesn’t focus on. Kronos mainly feeds Luke’s short-term rage by triggering his protectiveness of the people he loves against the gods, and his latent resentment towards his father for not being present in his life and sending him on a useless quest. (Hermes did not think about the Golden Fleece’s potential effect on Thalia, not as cruel as Kronos portrays)
He continues to check in on Annabeth and socialize with campers, but he is no longer overprotective. Instead, he’s a little more distant as if he’s thinking of something important, and he is quicker to stew in resentment.
He learns to adapt his swordplay to adjust for his blind eye, but he is no longer as accomplished as he would have been with two eyes.
--
Book 1 - Luke proves his loyalty to Kronos by stealing the lightning bolt and helm. He does not attack Percy at the end of the book, instead choosing to question the actions of the gods and their carelessness with their children’s lives. Obviously something will have to change foreshadowing wise to not make it so obvious to everyone that Luke is a traitor. As Percy is not yet 16, Kronos is aware the plan may not work, but uses it to test the personal lengths Luke will go for him, his luck with capturing Percy and turning him, as well as the bonds of the gods.
--
Book 2 - Luke goes on to poison Thalia’s tree to get the camp to ask the Oracle where the fleece is. This time, Luke acts as a spy in the camp. In Luke’s place on the ship would be another demigod who was recruited, maybe Alabaster Torrington. Hermes still helps, as he hopes that getting the Golden Fleece may prevent Luke from his destiny. Events happen similarly enough except when Sirens happen, Annabeth sees a happier Luke and Thalia, and Annabeth and Percy talk about Luke’s anger becoming more apparent. Percy does the Iris Message, Alabaster reveals that Chiron was framed and their army poisoned the tree during the attack as Thalia is a major player. Chiron saves the trio from Kronos’ Army. Back at the camp, they put the golden fleece on Thalia’s tree. Luke and Percy are on guard at the tree when Thalia falls out. Luke’s hope of getting Thalia back is too much for him to remain stoic. He stares at her tree hopefully and is conveniently positioned to catch her as she falls out of the tree unconscious, saying now he won’t be alone. Percy, suspicious of Luke knowing Thalia will fall out and remembering how Annabeth had suspicions after Alabaster’s speech of someone on the inside of camp poisoning the tree, as well as inconsistencies with the lightning bolt theft, asks Luke how he knew Thalia will fall out of the tree. Luke confesses to the thefts and the poisoning, saying it was all for the greater good of demigods. Luke tries to convince Percy to his side but fails, causing Percy to challenge him to a duel. Luke wins, and he apologizes to Percy saying he must do what must be done even if there is some sacrifice, but Annabeth runs towards them, seeing a commotion. Luke tries to convince Annabeth but she yells at Luke for gambling Thalia’s life and putting them all in danger for Kronos. As Annabeth is about to take action, convinced Luke is mentally unwell and being controlled by Kronos, Luke uses Backbiter to teleport away to avoid a conflict with Annabeth and capture. He leaves Thalia to get medical care from the camp, confident that they will meet again later.
--
Book 3 - The camp realizes that Thalia aged in real-time while in the tree, and was vaguely cognizant of being a tree. This places Thalia at 19/20 years of age, well over the age of 16, and thus not the half-blood mentioned in the prophecy based on a technicality. However, some people have doubts if tree-aging counts as real aging or not. Thalia learns of Luke’s betrayal and is shocked, but also is unusually quiet about it, not revealing her feelings. Atlas and Luke formulate a plan where Thorn kidnaps a Hunter or Percy, then they bait Artemis nearby, Luke takes over for Atlas, and then trick the person using magic/plot armor to take over for Luke, ultimately using Artemis’ sympathy for an innocent mortal to trick her to hold the sky. However, Thorn comes in with Annabeth, causing Luke distress as he didn’t want Annabeth to be involved. He holds up the sky for a longer time on his end so that when Annabeth holds the sky she is not on the brink of death but still severely exhausted, and Artemis can come in to save her. Luke angrily refuses Atlas’ insistence on killing her, saying they can use Annabeth as bait (trying to hide his true feelings of regret and self-hatred). Luke starts to feel regret as he realizes that a war will inevitably hurt Annabeth even if she is on a winning side (his side). War starts to feel like an actual looming threat with consequences, rather than just a means to the end. In the confrontation at the end of the book, Luke faces off against Thalia. Thalia questions why he turned and Luke argues that Thalia should join him as the gods never gave him a way to heal her tree, but Kronos did. They would have freedom under Kronos. (It’s apparent that in a bid to avoid the prophecy and unnecessary risks, those immortals with the necessary knowledge avoided the topic of the Golden Fleece.) Thalia is shocked but she holds her ground, arguing that while the gods are imperfect, there is a chance demigods can live, unlike Kronos who is cruel enough to kill them all by starting a war. Luke feels betrayed by Thalia and they come to blows, each saying that the other is brainwashed. Thalia wins, but is unable to bring herself to kill Luke due to their past history and the reveal he was motivated by her. Some monsters swoop in on the mountain as a distraction and Luke disappears. Thalia does not join the Hunters as she would like to live out her mortal life and relive the years she lost as a tree. She instead decides to live solo in New York and visit Annabeth for a while before going back to the camp, as while she is not a fan of the gods either, she will help them to prevent the deaths of demigods from war.
{Might as well change the Hunters of Artemis premise while I'm writing this. Change them to a group of hunters, all women at this time, who accept talented people who forswear worldly pleasures for the sake of the hunt. It is usually women who take up the role as historically men have had more opportunities to be free-spirited and hunt monsters on their own with no questions asked than women have. Exceptions are sometimes made for younger children who prove themselves to be talented and have nowhere else to go. During the manticore attack, Bianca realized she had some latent powers connected to the ground, but was saved by Annabeth before it could manifest completely. The others suspect she may be connected to Demeter somehow, but after reaching camp and hearing the rumors surrounding Percy and Thalia, she suspects that with her upbringing, there is more to the story than just being a child of Demeter. Thinking that the Hunters would provide a safe place for her and Nico to travel around the country, under the guidance of an Olympian, she tells Nico that they should join the Hunters. Nico disagrees as the camp has a more worldly atmosphere and he wouldn’t be able to play mythomagic with anyone in the Hunters. Bianca and Nico’s argument ends with Bianca angrily saying she’ll join without him, and she joins the quest in order to prove herself (and Nico) as talented enough to be a Huntress. But dies in the process of getting a toy as an apology for Nico.}
--
Pre-Book 4: Luke finds Annabeth, on Thalia’s last day of visiting Annabeth. He asks Annabeth to run away with him and Thalia, and is rejected, as she is angry and doesn’t trust him after his trick with the sky. Annabeth closes the door, sure that Thalia will reject Luke again after their previous battle. He then leaves to ask Thalia. He is even more desperate and pleads for her to listen to him for old times’ sake. He expresses regret at following Kronos as he didn’t expect the reality of the sacrifice of war and that the future of what Kronos may lead him to do scares him. He wanted to help the campers but now he is in over his head, doomed to hurt them. Thalia proposes that they run away, just like old times, to escape the immortal beings chasing after them. (Thalia, still struggling to adjust to a new world after 5 years as a tree, one that is cruel and pits her against the first person who called her family outside of Jason, selfishly wants to keep the people she loves close by and not worry about the world). Luke hesitatingly tells Thalia about how he swore an oath to help Kronos in order to get Thalia back and keep Annabeth safe. Thalia says running away will just delay Kronos’ rise, technically not breaking the oath. They know that they run the chance of breaking the oath, but decide to try to reforge Luke’s broken destiny. Ultimately, on the run, they end up falling into one of Kronos’ traps for Luke to get him to accidentally break the oath - too lazy to think of how. The consequences are dire and the fates converge where Luke and Thalia are captured, Typhon’s seal is weakened (Percy later deals the final finishing blow to the seal), Luke is forced to bathe in the River Styx and become the host for Kronos. Whereas there might have been another way to get Kronos to rise, now Luke is doomed and fast tracked onto this plan. Somehow during this, Thalia is able to send a confusing, hurried Iris Message to Annabeth, mentioning a labyrinth.
Book 4 - Pretty much the same happens. Except Annabeth vacilates between being mad at Luke, mad at others for speaking the truth about Luke, and mad at herself for being mad with others, unable to properly grieve for Luke’s betrayal and Thalia’s absence which she suspects has to do with Luke. Thalia joins in for the Battle of the Labyrinth. After the battle she explains what happened and that Luke is now the host of Kronos, but she doesn’t know how he became one as they were separated when captured. Thalia is upset, wondering if demigods can truly live as their lives are always fated for something tragic, no matter what they try. Destiny always catches up with them.
--
Book 5 - Pretty similar. Except Thalia joins in the fights more actively.
{Changing Silena’s backstory to be one where she felt alone at camp and like Ethan and some other unclaimed, she felt neglected by the gods. Luke’s charismatic nature and his words about a world in which she did not have to suffer their carelessness made her want to join his army. She served as a spy until Beckendorfs death as she was willing to sacrifice everything, except her boyfriend, to make a peaceful world happen for demigods to live well. Kronos/Luke convinced her that she’s already committed to this, so she should continue to be a spy until the end to make Beckendorf’s death worth it. She goes along with it, but leaks less important information, growing more disenchanted until she decides to re-enact Patroclus, realizing that Kronos wouldn’t make that peaceful world happen.}
The ending throne scene is similar enough. When the Hera statue falls on Thalia, Thalia tells Annabeth that the oath Luke swore upon included a provision that would ensure Annabeth would not be harmed by Kronos (holding the sky was Luke hurting Annabeth). The trio leaves and face off against Kronos. Kronos is on the defensive against Annabeth, but by using his strength to throw her off, she whacks against the wall and reminds Luke about their broken family. Luke regains possession of his body, a combination of his willpower and the oath being broken, enabling him to ask Percy for the dagger. Percy originally deliberates, but upon realizing that Luke’s motives have always centered around Annabeth and Thalia, trusts Luke enough to hand him the dagger. Thalia enters right after Luke stabs himself. Luke apologizes to Thalia and Annabeth, asks Percy to make sure it doesn’t happen to others again, wishes Grover luck, and says that maybe in another life, he can make up for leaving their family behind. Then he dies. Same end scene with Percy and Annabeth. Since I changed Thalia’s character more (my theme for her was more centered around the fatal flaw of selfish personal loyalty and the consequences arising from that), I will also have to change her ending. Thalia is bitter about the fate of demigods, but she remains trucking towards the future. She sticks around at the camp, choosing to help go out and bring back young demigods to ensure that what happened to her, Annabeth, and Luke doesn’t happen again.
--
Outtake 1: In Book 3, instead of having Annabeth hold the sky, it’s someone from Camp Half-Blood who Luke knows and accidentally kills when he is trying to kill Bessie. This makes the final scene with Annabeth make more sense as he never hurt her before, and also gives him a scene where he personally kills someone he had said he is protecting and has to deal with the consequences
Outtake 2: In Book 3, Thalia accidentally kicks Luke off a cliff. Luke is rejected by Annabeth on the proposal to run away (doesn’t ask Thalia because he doesn’t want to get kicked off a cliff again). Luke, in despair, rationalizes becoming Kronos’ host as a necessary sacrifice to save the demigods and reluctantly goes along with it. Sunk cost fallacy hits hard, guys. Presents a more dogmatic Luke who is ready to die for his ideals makes him a better antagonist I think.
A key piece of this rewrite was mainly changing it so that Luke doesn't really put Annabeth in mortal danger until Book 5 and he isn't so gung-ho about killing Percy, so that her bleeding in front of him hits him harder and his motive about helping campers makes sense. Changing his betrayal to be post-Lightening Thief and just having him not be sadistic in Sea of Monsters would work too.
Why change Thalia’s story beat? I thought the Hunters of Artemis was just a way to write her off so Percy is destined to be the chosen one, albeit a creative one. I don’t think it was a bad idea, Thalia probably does like hunting monsters and utilizing her powers. I just always liked the foreshadowing of Percy dooming the world for personal loyalty and the idea in the OG Greek myths that you cannot run away from destiny as you will make it worse. Percy never actually did run away from destiny nor put his friends and family first over the world, so seeing the consequences of a fatal flaw in action would be nice. The idea that with all the power that Thalia, the daughter of Zeus and a powerful demigod with good leadership capabilities has, she is still powerless when against destiny. A kind of ultimately hopeless story that the Greek myths are infamous for. I personally think it’s an interesting story at least. Adding that with the way she grew up, she and Luke were probably very close and thought the world of each other as they felt like the other was the first person on their side.
Technically speaking Hermes would also fit into the category of "powerful but unable to change fate." The few times he did try to help out Luke, he accidentally would make the situation worse. And he does know that as a god, he shouldn't interfere with fate.
Other story beats that would need to be focused on is that while the war is terrible, it isn’t exactly known if the gods would have started to change their behavior without it. It was the catalyst for Percy to be granted his boon. The gods aren’t necessarily evil, but their carelessness/neglect negatively affects demigods and something needs to be changed (especially since the demigods are in a democracy, not an old monarchy where they are used to being given orders and following them without a say). I guess a personal thought that I have is that I’m unsure how the demigods would have brought up to the gods a way to change the system. Kronos seemed like a better option to demigods as he would point out flaws in the current system, but he would never answer questions about the future. All Kronos cared about was revenge and taking back power, he would have used the demigods as pawns as well, and maybe end up killing them due to their connections to the gods. Kronos is direct cruelty with no hope for the power of leverage for change, while the gods have mostly indirect cruelty.
Some themes I tried to focus on: the road to hell is paved with good intentions, a lack of an adult support system preying upon the minds of kids, doing things for personal loyalty due to codependency arising from unstable childhoods, can’t escape destiny, revolutions are hard to manage, the enemy of your enemy is not always your friend if you don’t know all the facts, the harsh reality of spilling blood, change is hard to come by, resentment can cause you to be blinded to reality, trauma envelopes you if there is no help given
I tried to keep as much in line with the books as I could. I realize that this rewrite seems to take away Luke's agency, but really, helping Kronos and endangering people was his fault, even if he was manipulated. Just once he merged with Kronos, he had no agency until the ending. If you managed to reach the end of this monstrosity, thanks for reading!

A lot of what I've said about movie 27 and kaishin being cousins might sound contradictory, so I'll try to clarify. (No one asked but I thought I would set the record straight anyway).
Content warning for discussion of incest in fiction, complaints about the source material, and shipping discourse.
I think the reveal sucked. The way it happened, where it happened, when it happened, it all sucked. Gosho said he planned this from the start, but I don't believe it, for various reasons that I won't get into in this post. Even if he had plan this, it still sucked, the execution was cheap, and waiting for this long to reveal it also sucks.
It's completely understandable that most people (at least in the western fandom) who continue to ship kaishin are doing so by ignoring the reveal. The ship's community is doing fine, at least on tumblr, save for the occasional mockery and shaming, and that can also be reduced if we block liberally. I'm happy that kaishin has such a loyal and passionate fanbase that we can survive something like this.
That being said, I also talk a lot about kaishin with the added perspective of them being cousins. Yes, I'm incorporating this aspect into my headcanon by choice. No, this doesn't mean I think the reveal was good, or even decent. And no, this doesn't mean I'm ignoring the harm of incest in real life. I think this specific fictional case is interesting to write about, that's all there is to it. But I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, so to make it easy to filter out, I tag my cousins kaishin posts with #kaishincest. Please curate your own online experience when the platform allows you to.
The damage this reveal has done to the kaishin community is devastating and permanent, and it was entirely unnecessary. It should've happened way earlier, within the first few years of the series' production, or not at all. And I'm worried that the canon portrayal of Kaito and Shinichi's relationship is going to get way worse due to Gosho forcing sibling-esque banters between them, because he sucks at that. Going by the assumption that them being cousins was decided during the production of movie 27, it makes sense why Conan was acting cruel and out of character in Azure Throne (ch1119-1122), which is the first time Kaito appeared since this change was decided. Their relationship as rivals was perfect, but now they're being written as siblings instead, and it's clearly for the worst. I might elaborate on this in a later post.
In conclusion: I think the reveal sucked, but I'm adding the cousins thing into my personal headcanon anyway, although I completely understand people who choose to reject it.
This is only my speculation, but I think it'll be important that we pick which parts of canon we ignore from now on, because the portrayal of Kaito and Shinichi's relationship in the source material is going to get worse, similarly to what happened to coai long ago. It's going to be important to remember the version of them that we love, and stick to it.

unbiased pov
sorry but if you're going to come into someone's tag and try to start a discourse about two people, your post has to be actually unbiased and objective and not misconstrue or gaslight people of what has actually happened in this fandom.
Luke and Nicola deserve better, and having an age gap discourse is pointless if you approach it the way you did. You're just causing more unnecessary drama
My pov on age gap is, no I wouldn't be in an age gap relationship, BUT I do not judge others if they are, because I do not know that relationship to have an opinion about. I do not see the dynamics, the days in out, or how they interact with eachother. I am not their family or friends who would have a better insight into those relationships. And people ignore there are successful age gap relationship in the world.
If you want to have a general discussion not involving Nic or Luke then that's fine.

see here’s the thing. i hate drama, always have. like legitimately, i avoid getting involved in online shit as much as possible, and i’m pretty successful. only time i’ll ever get into shit is if someone i love gets into shit because i’m very “if you find yourself in a lion’s den i’ll jump right in and pull my pin and go with you” (hi clique). or if there’s a power imbalance or someone seems to be struggling i’ll dm them for a mental health check. but i go out of my way to avoid drama, especially phannie drama, because despite all of this community’s growth, the drama that happens is still the same energy as when we were hormonal emotionally dysregulated kids. that’s why being on phannie twitter sucked so much for that 5 month period where i was shadowbanned on here and had to take refuge on twitter. i had almost exclusively lovely interactions because as i said i avoid getting into shit, but the thing with twitter is there’s no way to avoid seeing the drama, and it would literally ruin my day. like you open the app and there it is. you get notified for posts from accounts you don’t follow because the algorithm thrives off of rage bait bla bla bla.
tumblr is infinitely better, but i still see drama on here sometimes, however hard i try to avoid it, and i just keep scrolling, because i’m an adult. regardless of being an adult and of not looking into it further, it does give me a sinking feeling and a bitter taste in my mouth.
the point of this post is not a phannie drama retrospective or psychoanalysis (just deleted a large chunk of this post because i automatically started going down that path lmao). it’s this: sometimes it dawns on me how much we really act like we’re all siblings trying to make each other behave as to not upset our parents. like the policing of reactions to that fuckass ig photo of phil (you’re all so unrelatable btw that photo made me so mad bc i don’t wanna see that shit and yall were thirsting about it for a week. betrayal of the highest degree.) was annoying and unnecessary but it was also soooo “STOOOPPPP MUM AND DAD ARE GONNA SEE THIS AND THEN WE’LL ALL GET IN TROUBLE”, and that’s what most phannie discourse is. a lot of time we’re aware of that and it’s funny, but more often, we get wrapped up in drama itself and no one is having a good time.
tldr, when you see drama, and feel anxious, don’t look at it as adults screaming at each other. look at it as siblings having a slap fight because if mum and dad see what we did to the sofa then they’re gonna blame ALL of us and we’ll get out kindles taken away :(

the whole “community” aspect of tlou tumblr has completely disappeared and it makes me very sad. my feed is just a big mess of writers throwing insults at others and trying to win the woke wars instead of posting actual content and it makes this app absolutely insufferable. i rarely even see fics anymore, likeee this is tumblr not twitter,,,
i just cannot stand the influx of negative posts. i understand that there are times when ppl should be called out about their behavior but half of the time its just blogs trying to start unnecessary discourse about shit that does not matter. and these dumb arguments being made lose all basis anyways when you try and make examples out of fan fiction (emphasis on the fiction part) you read on fucking tumblr. go conquer the sa themes in colleen hoover books or the actual porn industry and its dangers instead of random girls on the internet who aren’t authors and have little to no influence on anything or anyone. or idk maybe go donate money, go to protests or actually make a difference instead of hiding in your little corner on the internet if you genuinely want to be a good activist. must i remind you that we are all writing fan fiction about pixels and posting it on the internet,,, you are not above anyone else here so drop the superiority complex <3

Ok so this is my discourse in response to @stellariders post a while back. Linked at the end.
1. Kelly should have been captain 3-4 seasons ago and I'm tired of them using the excuses of paperwork or being behind a desk because I've seen Van Meter behind a desk & talking about about how backed up they are on cases which is PAPERWORK. When he is in the field, it's after all the "action" that they speak so highly of has already taken place & it's more so like solving a puzzle rather than running into a fire. Atp I'd respect it more if they said Kelly can't be captain because he can't be Stella's commanding officer at the same house.
2. I'm sorry. I love Hermann however I'm struggling with seeing how the hell I'm supposed to take him seriously as captain on a scene or call when they've NEVER shown him in that light. The last time I saw him really fired up regarding a call was the factory fire. Also they haven't shown an ounce of Hermann actually preparing or studying for the exam. So we're supposed to believe that the same Hermann that failed the LT exam how many times passes the captain test on the first try? OK...
3. Mouch doing more has at least been foreshadowed now for a while. The episode in which he saved that kid & Casey talked about the retirement age going up. Also, Mouch has at least been acknowledged by the CFD with a commendation back in S9 & helped out with Paramedicine. We've seen his journey & arc build a little bit more than Hermann, so even if it wasn't for a potential Stella pregnancy on the horizon, I could still rationalize Mouch wanting to do more. We've never seen that same arc for Hermann, so it makes it hard for me to get behind it.
4. The disparity in storytelling amongst the cast is starting to become problematic for me. Stella & Ritter are the main two that stand out to me in this moment, but I'm sure there are more examples. Ritter has been on this show in some capacity since season 7... there is absolutely no reason why he has been treated like a background player all this time & is just now starting to get an inch of more screen time when Carver has had MULTIPLE arcs of the course of his FIRST season & now this one. Hell Novak is in her first season as a series regular & we already know a little bit about her past & what makes her tick. Not even about to start in on Stella because yall already know how I feel about it however what I will say is Stella Kidd deserves more than 1 GOF episode a season & 1 episode where she's fighting for the underdog. All of her other stories are directly or indirectly associated with Kelly/Stellaride/ white men, causing her unnecessary grief.... Casey never had this many damn personnel issues in the 10 years he was on T81. I'll leave it at that.
5. I'd love for Squad 3 to get some new blood. Not saying I want anyone to go anywhere, but I'd love to see Kelly Severide have to navigate teaching & training someone new. Add another man or woman to the crew & let's really see how Kelly's leadership comes through.
Same for Engine 51... like i find it interesting that they gave Ritter up to Truck yet won't commit to Kylie joining Engine full-time. Like outside of Hermann, who the hell else do we now know on engine? No one..
6. I'm confused by how close Kelly & Pascal have gotten in such a short amount of time. Historically, Kelly has always been very reserved when it comes to change, especially change in power dynamics. I also find it interesting that they continue to isolate him for the other members that he's worked alongside for much longer yet have planted this Pascal & Severide relationship dynamic. We've been asking for Kelly & Violet since S11... hell the Kelly & Mouch episode we got in S11 was adorable. I'd take him, Ritter & Carver, yet we're getting him & Pascal who clearly has an issue with Stella, his wife. Feels intentional
7. If they are committed to not actually giving Stella an appropriate backstory, then they should at least commit to strengthening her bonds in the house. They did that really well in earlier seasons, like mentioned about her relationship with Enily Foster. Same can be said with Casey, Otis, Gallo, Boden & Kylie but none of those people outside of Kylie are on the show anymore. Felt like when Stellaride got married, they were like alright no more family dynamics with anyone else except for Kelly & thats so not fair to her character. She mentioned it to Boden that her real family is the house. OK, so let her actually build out more relationships with the people that are there now.
8. I know I'm a vocal Newman critic, but I also like to think I give credit where credit is due. I made a few posts ranting & raving about how S12 for what it was (short, needed to be executed quickly) was a REALLY good season. It's why I was so excited for S13, but we're 8 episodes in & i fear we've lost the plot. Like, i go into these episodes with such high hopes because the meat is THERE yet walk away from some of them wondering wtf was that. Like, I'm almost wondering if S12 was so good for her because it was shorter, so there wasn't much room for filler because it honestly fills like she doesn't know what to do with 22 episodes. Grant it, we have an entire back half of the season to go, so I could be speaking too soon. However, I don't know what to even anticipate for the rest of S13.. like i have concepts & my own personal wants, but I don't have actual faith that it'll come to life because everything she's teased thus far has been so far from expectations.
Damon had so much more potential. As a firefighter, brother, & brother in law. That baby convo could have touched on so much more of Stella's fear & what the actual cause of that dread she spoke about could be coming from. Violet could have actually apologized to Carver & explained her grief/ why that caused her to ice him out. Even if they didn't make up right away, it would have set the groundwork for what they'd work towards if they're actually endgame(sometimes i don't know). Ritter getting blown out of a window could have been dug into a little deeper. Even the blood program that Novak proposed a call linking to why it is so important would have just driven the messaging home.
I saw a tweet a while back that basically said it's not character or plot development if it happens off screen & we never see it. It feels as if recently a lot is playing in the background or off the pages that we're somehow supposed to know is going on without ever seeing or hearing it. I love this show, this cast & think if shows like the Law & Order franchise or Grey's can be on air for decades, then so can Fire. I really hope the back half of S13 kicks it into high gear & starts connecting dots for me because I want to get renewed for 3-5 more seasons! I'm simply not ready to let them go, especially when there's so much left in the tank they just need to have the right pieces in the right places to execute effectively.
As always, thanks for coming to my rant session. Let me know your thoughts & opinions below. I'm always up for a healthy debate or yap session. Check out @stellariders original post here.

I have some thoughts after the Italian gp about McLaren. Shocking, I know! Anyway, for the past couple of days since the race I have been reading and looking at comments (on Instagram) to see what people thought about the race, and the first thing that was obvious to me from the first post that the F1 page made about the start of the race was that a lot of commenters were upset and that Oscar should NOT have overtaken Lando like that. Shock! Horror!
I personally saw no problem with the overtake that Oscar did, it was absolutely great wheel-to-wheel racing from the both of them and made me scream in the middle of the night cause I was not expecting it!
This was probably the most excited and hyped I’ve been watching an F1 race this year (I fear I have cursed the races that I watch to not get safety cars cause I have yet to see one 👀). ANYWAY, back to my original point about the commenters on Instagram, amidst all of the unnecessary hate and vitriol against Oscar doing that incredible overtake I read one persons comment that really got to me and thought I’d share it on here cause I haven’t seen as much discussion and discourse about the move on here as much :) and wanted to see what you guys thought!

This was off of a post on the F1 Instagram page that shows a video of Zak Brown being interviewed about how Oscar and Lando went during the race.
The first part really got to me cause it makes sense why McLaren are making those seemingly weird and terrible calls when it comes to which driver should be favoured more and get the better strategy. We all remember how much drama surrounded Oscar signing with McLaren back in ‘22! He was the biggest talent that the F1 grid had yet to see since Lewis and the teams all knew this and wanted to get a piece of him. Now I’m not trying to bark up Oscar’s tree here when I say all of this, but it really is the truth, because when you look back at statistics throughout his Junior career you can see how absolutely crazy it was!
This has only continued to grow throughout his short time at the ‘pinnacle of motor racing’! Just this year everyone seemed to collectively agree that his first win was in sight after Lando won in Miami, and that it was only the start of the McLaren boys’ domination with their fast as fuck car.
Ok, this is all to say that for all of the commenters crying about Oscar not being as good of a teammate to Lando, that he was selfish to pull off such a move at the start of the race, that he should have given the second place position to Lando, that he should just stop trying to compete with Lando and help him win instead like a ‘good 2nd driver’…. That’s just not what he was brought into F1 for.
Every single driver that gets into F1 wants to WIN, and their closest competitors and rivals are their teammates who have the same car. Neither Oscar nor Lando want to be 2nd driver, and I believe that they understand that about each other. They want to win at all costs and right now, these two are only going to get more and more competitive with each other because they know that the other can usually keep up and will keep pushing each other to their limits.
#f1#oscar piastri#lando norris#italian gp 2024#just a lot of thoughts running through my head about the whole thing#I find it kinda funny but also distasteful how fast a lot of fans will switch up#I know I do it sometimes when a favourite driver of mine isn’t doing as well but I usually get over myself during the race#some of the commenters on Instagram were so intense about it being Oscar’s fault that he went racing with Lando#and not that it’s literally their livelihood#I like both of these drivers and they both did fantastic over the weekend#Ferrari just pulled the riskier strategy and it paid off for them in the end#I’m giggling when I see that it was indeed a ‘Ferrari Masterclass’#formula 1#monza gp 2024

So uhhhhh this might be a little weird but I have memory issues and this has been bugging me for a week... I'm pretty? sure I might have blocked you on an old account when some femboy discourse stuff was going here and left your server that you had at the time? Like I did finally confirm it was you we were remembering because I know I bought a pinkie pie kandi bracelet from you off etsy (not sure if before or after the disc horse, bc we're very much a "everyone deserves to be able to survive and should not lose access to support no matter what") which for the record we love.
And like it wasn't personal, at worst we may have made a vent post at the time bc it's an identity important to us and literally no judgement whatsoever
But the reason we're even bringing it up is that we kinda feel guilty for the block even though we know it's okay to block anyone at anytime for any reason, especially since now that we saw you feel differently we're just interacting like normal and stuff
which... tbf might be trauma-related ocd from some OTHER like actually really bad internet Tumblr discourse stuff but yeah uh. I think it would help to apologize even if it's not necessary, because that's been a healthy coping mechanism for us in the past (not a compulsive one, the compulsion is more "you should never talk to them again bc you're evilbad and they don't deserve to have to interact with you") so uh, we're sorry and we think you're cool and would love to interact more and be friends (if that's not overly parasocial ahhhh x'D)
hey, that's okay, you're allowed to block people for your own safety. i don't keep track of who does and doesn't have me blocked. if someone wants to block me, that's their right, it don't take it personally. you do not have to apologize for blocking me at any point. that's not something you ever have to apologize to someone for, but i totally get why you would want to do that to give yourself some form of closure. that makes sense to me
i understand why you would've blocked over that. when i was running that server, i was friends with some very aggressive people who were adamant on policing the usage of the word femboy, so i apologize that things got so shitty about that. other staff members that were involved were very, very pushy and i ended up feeling extremely alienated from that server because i found myself disagreeing with a lot of the rules that got put into place. i especially started feeling uncomfortable because other staff members were very transandrophobic and it was causing me a lot of self hatred for being a trans man at the time. that discord server was not good for my mental health, which is why i stopped interacting with it before leaving altogether.
it took me a while to realize i did not agree with those people and that the fighting over who "gets" to use the term is so fucking petty and stupid, but i see it now and that shit was dumb. i can see why you would've been upset and left and blocked over that. at the time, plenty of people were mad about it and they had every right to be. i wasn't treating certain people right. i left that server a while back because i just got so tired of how it was being run and did not have the energy to try to rectify it due to homelessness and housing insecurity at the time. it was way too authoritarian in terms of who was allowed to identify as certain terms for me to continue to give it my stamp of approval. it was like, the exact opposite of what i wanted in a queer discord server.
thank you, though, i appreciate it. i know that this won't make the thoughts stop but you truly are allowed to block whoever you want or need to for your own safety. it's not a personal attack on them. it's a way to prevent unnecessary conflict. i fully believe in blocking when and where necessary. i block when i need to, too. but thank you so much, i appreciate it. i apologize for how shitty i was in the past about people using that term. i got pulled into the wrong crowd and i'm very glad i'm not a part of that anymore.
you're more than welcome to send a DM, and i'm glad you still like the bracelet! that must've been quite a while ago, i hope it's still holding up well! if you ever need any repairs or anything, let us know :)

Welcome!!
This account is basically just an attempt to try and figure out what people collectively decide is the scariest episode of TMA
A few things to know!
It’s going to be just scary/not scary answers for the poll. Saying not scary doesn’t mean it’s not good/effective horror, it just means it didn’t scare YOU personally :)
A poll will be posted once a day, in the order the episodes come in the show, starting March 13th, 2025! (I will not be including bonus content or the fluff for obvious reasons, just the canon 200 main episodes)
The reason for posting these at that pace is to give an opportunity for relistening! I plan on relistening as these polls go on. I recommend doing the same!
That being said, you do not HAVE to relisten of course
I will link to the specific episodes in each poll!
After the entirety of the 200 episodes have all been posted, we’ll see which one had the most “scary” answers!
Absolutely feel free to discuss the episodes on the posts, just please don't start unnecessary discourse or fight about stuff! (valid criticisms or concerns are okay, just don't start fights with each other or anything)
