What would happen if the child of juno and Jupiter were both the same gender?
*in reference to my Roman Demigod Headcanons for the child of Jupiter [TUMBLR] and Juno [TUMBLR]
Nothing really. Sure there's going to be some push-back, but it's like a small percentage and at the same time like, it's not really a whole big, immense deal as a collective? Like considering, if you look back in Ancient Rome, evidence of homosexuality* or same gender/sex partners relationships* was present. So jumping to the timeline of camp Jupiter and New Rome, in the 2010s and forward especially? Absolutely not a problem. So basically if the child of Juno and Jupiter were both the same gender, and were in a relationship together, it's fine.
I did write the imagines in a gender neutral format and this also applies to relationships; and I did write the match-ups in mind for all kind of relationships including the LGBTQ+. So no need to feel panic or restrained in reading my works.

Mydei and Phainon have sex but Phainon cries out 'oh gods/oh Titans/oh Kephale' and Mydei shuts him up with a kiss, saying 'I'm the only god you should call out' like—
More possessive demigod Mydei, please.

Ok so I just saw that one Poseidon short animation Neal Illustrator did, and omg, Neal ur gonna be the absolute fucking death of me, nevermind Neal STEVEN WHAT IS THAT SONG!? But I also saw Neal's rockstar designs and got to thinking, what if that was one of their songs? Sung by none other than "Mr-More-Lovers-Than-Zeus"
It's only been a few months but anyone would know about the band Natural Disaster(Neal's name for them, I can change it if requested), the eldest brother who was a god at sound design and pretty good on the drums, the youngest brother the lead guitarist of the band and well known ladies man, and the middle brother who had a voice the gods would envy. Out of all of Natural Disaster it is a well known little joke, Hades' music was always recognizable, Zeus' face his most recognizable feature and as for Poseidon it was of course his voice. The main character in this story however found it all quite corny, fictional god names? Really? Little did Reader know that said "fictional gods" were not so fake but neither do they hold the divine powers they did back then, and after meeting the wife of Hades, Persephone, and befriending her Reader would go on to meet the infamous brothers. Let's just say Readers personality was rather...harsh when combined with theirs and their first encounter wouldn't be so pleasant, oh what will Reader think when they find out the man they beat to a near pulp because he was being too touchy feely around girls was the king of gods in his prime. Now though? Well they're basically mortals, in every way except their immortality which they retained. How will Reader fare on their journey? And which love interest may catch their eye?(If any at all) But seriously...do you really believe Reader meeting Persephone will be a coincidence? Nah, you see Readers had this little pain in the ass for as long as they can remember, honestly thought they were schizo or something when they got older, but no, why are you surprised?
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

If this gets to 50 likes I'll release headcanons and funfacts on my modern!celebrity!AU or "the universe where they've been stripped of power as the eons went by" basically.

I hate the takes that try to amount to Luke being less "humane", "kind" or "loving" towards other demigods than Percy ngl. Because they all just completly negelect the fact that the main motivation Luke had for what he did, the reason he stated at the very beginning for his acts, is an ultimatly altruistic love for demigod kind.
Now did the guy do some fucked shit? Deffos. But that doesn't change that first and foremost, his goal was a "Golden Age for Demigods." Not glory and power for himself, but prosperity for everyone.
Hell we can see even before his turn to Kronos how kind he was! I mean, he pretty much immideatly took in Annabeth as we can see in the Diary of Luke Castellan. And he must have earned himself the reputation he had in camp pre-betrayal somehow, and considering how he only joined Kronos shortly before kicking off Zeus' Master Bolt that must have come from his genuine personality.
Like....I think it's just so tragic that Luke's own humanity is ripped from him time and time again.

Nico on the other hand, my little principe oscuro is rocking the wolf cut... I really need to step u and redraw them in my new style. Perhaps follow my teen dream of drawing an illustration for every pj chapter.

Nico befriending one of Dionysus' kids, but like one who isn't always drinking Coke. Like the Son of Hades and the Son of Dionysus just would get along great. Son of madness and the son of death. They would literally be such a cool fighting duo

ive been in my labs conducting nefarious research. [all models from KH2—most are from JP final mix but xaldin and larxene are from the original. wasnt able to find higher-poly models for them]
primarily i made this image to compare xigbar's ass to the rest of the organization (my conclusion being: damn good for you) but holy shit i had gotten so wrapped up in "xigbar is canonically 6'8" that i had somehow not realized "xigbar is smaller than the majority of the adult org members"

What would a child of Hades x child of Hebe relationship be like?
A/n: I was going to schedule this weeks in advance but I messed up. WELP. You get to eat early.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ I would deem this pair as a rare-pair. An extremely and basically impossible rare-pair. I know you're asking a more romantic relationship, but this can also be applicable as a platonic relationship. Here's why:
Speaking from as if their godly parents are a major factor in their relationship... it's going to be just like Sisyphus; the Greek Tyrant King who cheated death twice and is punished in Hades to roll an immense boulder up a hill for it to only roll back down as it neared the top, repeating this for eternity.
You have a child of Hades, whose domain is the Underworld and death which includes old age, and then you have a child of Hebe; whose domain is (eternal) youth and prime of life. Hades and Hebe are at two complete opposite forces and if we're taking in godly grudges and such, like we saw with Annabeth and Percy dealing with their parents with Athena and Poseidon to be the patron god of Athens, Hebe probably hasn't made her stance on eternal youth and living to be literally young subtle or quiet, just as we see in the book "The Chalice of the Gods" where she literally turns people younger in her store Hebe Jeebies, therefore defying death, and we've seen Hades response to those who are against defying or cheating death, so he's probably not happy with Hebe. Reflecting off what happened with Annabeth and Percy with their godly parents, but more on the side of the conceptual domains and their godly parents represent, I would the child of Hades and Hebes would be absolute enemies who cannot bear to be in the same room as each other and when given the chance, would fight each other with them trying to uphold their parent's domain and belief.
So they're an extremely and basically impossible rare-pair because they're basically on the furthest opposite side of the room in beliefs and nature. It would be easier to say they're sworn enemies at least and at most, not even associated with each other and know the other as the child of that god and are just fellow campers. However, if they can find a middle ground, put their godly parents' domains and nature, and putting aside their own nature as well and not involve their parents at all... then that relationship could be built on understanding and humility, allowing to understand the other truly and not their parents, to understand who they are and what they are, and so forth. If they can do it all that, to move and grow from the idea they are their parent's children, then I'd say it could be a healthy and strong loving relationship that is built strong connections and understanding from great tribulation. So this is why I would deem a {child of Hades X child of Hebe} as a RARE-PAIR; extremely and almost impossible pair, of 5/5 stars difficulty. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5

i stand by that a better, more sensible, and more intriguing plot for TSATS would have been, instead of retconning literally everything:
Bob is dead (because he was very explicitly absorbed/killed by Tartarus Himself in House of Hades, alongside Damasen), and nobody is going into Tartarus to save him. He made his sacrifice and is gone. However. Remember how the Titans, including Bob, were just kind of kicking around for several years? Particularly. On a cruise ship full of mortals. And Bob happened to be kicking around in general for an extra year versus all the other Titans. And he mythologically sometimes has a mortal demigod son who partook in the Calydonian Boar Hunt (Dryas of Calydon). Yeah.
So turns out, Bob/Iapetus leaves behind a demigod (demititan?) child. And because Nico was pretty much his only friend, he named Nico his child's godfather. And while he's not being left in charge of the child, as a son of Hades and godfather to this kid, Nico is duty-bound to fulfill Bob's last will and go find this like 2 year old to make sure they're safe. So Nico has to undertake this very unusual quest (that raises many questions, such as "demititans are a thing?" and "DOES THIS MEAN THERE'S POTENTIALLY MORE-?!" and "SHOULD WE BE CONCERNED ABOUT THIS?") and is kind of freaking out because. He's the son of Hades! He's notoriously bad with living things, and animals, and definitely small children! Even if he does find this kid and assure they're safe, he is the last person who should be undergoing any kind of quest involving even potentially having to babysit. Fortunately, his boyfriend is the human embodiment of sunshine and calmness and good vibes, and also once helped a nymph give birth, so he feels Marginally More Confident in theoretical demititan babysitting and offers to come along on this Epic Journey of Figuring Out What In Hades' Name Is Up With This Demititan Baby Business.
Proceed with wholesome epic shenanigans quest of Nico and Will scurrying around trying to locate this random OP baby while Nico has an existential crisis about the nature of his powers because he doesn't want to let Bob down! Both for Hades Kid Honor Reasons and because Bob was his friend! But what if he's destined to fail this quest just because of who he is? Because he's simply not built for hanging out with the living/mortals? And Will reassuring him that He Will Probably Not Traumatize The Weird OP Titan Baby And It'll Be Fine, and simultaneously getting a peek into the weird other life Nico leads hanging out with immortals much more than the average demigod, which Nico considers his norm. Bonus shenanigans of both of them getting caught off-guard and culture shocked from where each other's respective worlds (Nico's mostly-immortal versus Will's mostly-mortal) cross over and learning to navigate those for each other - Nico finally starting to make some mortal connections and get glimpses at modern mortal American life, and Will trying not to get his brain literally incinerated while Nico's happily casually catching up with some of his old friends who happen to be literal gods.
#pjo#riordanverse#nico di angelo#will solace#solangelo#long post //#LISTEN I JUST THINK WE DONT NEED TO BE RETCONNING THINGS WHEN THERE IS A HIGHLY INTRIGUING MYTH RIGHT THERE#listen. *listen.* Iapetus in myth has a demigod child? and we're in the series? that's all about demigods?#and had titans running around for 4 years? some primarily on a giant ship mostly full of mortals?#and Iapetus himself was running around for closer to like 5 years?#I AM JUST SAYING. that is enough time. and the right conditions. that there are perhaps demititans now.#that alone is a fascinating plot set-up that ties in basically all previous series inherently and has a reasonable starting point#of *course* Nico would be named Bob's child's godfather!#of *course* Nico would consider it a very important personal duty to see out Bob's final will and go on some quest about it!#and under those conditions it makes *perfect sense* for Nico to want to bring Will along! and that he would be very helpful on said quest!#bringing along a lot of skills and abilities in areas that Nico lacks! that are crucial for a quest like that!#also then immediately the plot becomes Will reassuring Nico about his powers being cool and not evil and him being spooky is okay#while Will is also trying to not literally have his brain melt cause Nico's casually introducing him to a trio of death gods or something#forgetting that Will cannot look upon a god's true form#and Will's dragging Nico across the US while Nico is struggling to keep up cause Will forgot that Nico's not American and not from that era#its cute! it's interesting! it immediately begs the question of a next-gen series focusing on a main cast of demititan kids#dont go back to Tartarus that's lame and overdone and ruins a ton of stuff. dont retcon everything that also ruins a ton#give us the fluffy roadtrip comedy that they clearly wanted to write instead anyways#you can even keep the elements of Nico feeling out of his depth and Will constantly on the verge of death. except it makes sense this time.#and it's kind of funny cause Nico's just freaking out over babysitting and it highlights how much tankier Nico is vs Will#even just in casual interactions. yeah Nico can casually look upon a god's true form. dont worry about it#meanwhile Will is slowly collecting sunglasses the entire trip and layering them up for whenever Nico introduces him to another deity

Okay, we all know being a demigod is a shit position. Its scary and gets you killed in really nasty ways. But I feel like being a Big Three Kid has to be the shitiest position in all the shit positions.
Like, imagine being Thalia Grace. Your dad is king of the gods, lord of the skies. Led a war to get rid of a tyrant. And the only thing you get is his scorned wife AND brother, who both try to kill you (with one technically succeeding), a drunk of a mother, and brother who you thought was dead. Oh, wait, he’s not dead! No instead he was used as an offering to appease your dad’s wife and help fight in a war and prevent mass destruction.
Or maybe you can imagine being Percy. Son of the sea god, the stormbringer, the earthshaker. You get to live with a disgusting, abusive man for around 6 years. Who smells like literal shit. All because your scent as a demigod is too strong, BECAUSE of who your father is. You see things that you aren’t supposed to see and do things that people can’t do and go years thinking something is wrong with you. That your the problem. Then you get to the one place where you’re supposed to be save. But! Here is the kicker! You’re not! Your uncles hate you and you’ve been accused of stealing a symbol of power. A series of events that will kick off a war, and guess what. You’re a center point for it. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood.
Mhm, but then there’s Hazel. Daughter Pluto, god of the underworld and riches. But that doesn’t really change anything does it? She’s still living in 1930s America, in a red state. One where confederate flags still hang if you go deep enough into the city. She go to a school where the kids are supposed to be just like her! They still don’t like her tho. She’s got no idea who your father is, only that he left her with a parting gift. Only it’s not really a gift. Sure, she can pull rubies and diamonds from the earth, all worth millions. But anyone who’s ever gonna touch it will die. She lives with her mother, a woman gone so mad with greed it kills her. And Hazel, by the way. Laying dead Alaska, inhaling oil. But it doesn’t end there! She can’t have her mother suffering for eternity, can she? The answer is no. Hazel gets to spend the next 70 years in the Fields of Asphodel. It still doesn’t end! Because when she’s brought back to life, she gets to fight in a war against giants, her sad story seemingly never ending.
Nico’s a son of one of the Big Three, one of the most ancient and most powerful. But most people look at him as something bad, something not worth taking a second glance at. Something too look away from, mostly. He’s from the 30s, spent years in a magical time casino with only his sister at his side. She doesn’t stay for long though, she dies soon after they discover their heritage. And he doesn’t remember his mother much, a name without a face. A face without a name. He survived an attempted assassination at 2, though it wouldn’t be the only time his was life was threatened. He clings to his sister, even though she’s dead. He’s the son of the god of the underworld, is he not? There had to be a way, and there is. Only she won’t talk to him, she seems more concerned with communicating with the guy who got her killed instead. She chooses rebirth, and he decides to lay it to rest. She’s not coming back, and he has a war to fight in. (He gets stuck in a jar and forcibly outed a few years later, but that’s a lot to get into for now.)
Jason Grace is a pillar of New Rome, their golden boy, their American boy. He’s a son of Jupiter, a natural born leader. He’s been at camp for as long as he can remember, he wants to be praetor soon. He’s had a rocky start, but maybe he’ll be one of the lucky ones. Retire a veteran and live a long life with Reyna in New Rome. Only that never happened. He has no idea where he is, there’s a girl holding his hand, and she’s cute but it feels wrong. They get attacked and people come in and call him a Greek demigod, familiar, yes, but still wrong. It doesn’t feel right. It doesn’t put things into perspective the way it does for Piper and Leo. He’s goes to a quest to rescue Hera, the name sounds wrong. He nearly dies but at least he remembers who he is. He spends the next 6 months trying to get back home, even though he isn’t too sure on where or what home is. He gets there, eventually, but it doesn’t stop there. He’s dragged on quests and battles and fights in the war but at least he survives it, he’s still there. Apollo needs help, he and Piper give him aid. He gets dumped. He doesn’t get to he a veteran in New Rome. Not with Reyna, not with Piper, not with anybody. He doesn’t get kids or grandkids. No, he gets shot down, another demigod buried.
You could be any one of them, really. Pick your poison, but I guarantee you won’t like any of them. Spending years trying to find a place where you belong, where you feel safe. Only for it to never come.
Percy, who, if you really look at the books, isn’t really all that well liked until he’s at least 2 years into camp. Only to then be sidelined because the courages, brave, fearless daughter of Zeus is back from the dead. Nico, the son of one of the most feared and hated gods. Who has death written all over him, who excludes it so much animals can smell it and humans can sense it, who’s been ostracized and pushed off to the side since he was 10. Hazel, who was treated like disease as soon as she stepped foot on camp soil. Who’s gone her whole life looked as something that’s cursed, that will only bring misfortune, a bad omen.
Shit positions, all of them.
