The two things I thought I'd have to give up by going through my gender change were orgasms and and theater. See, my surgeon warned me that I might have no more sensation in my genitals after surgery - that I might never have another orgasm. My own insecurity insisted that I'd never be able to perform onstage again. I mean, who would ever cast me? What kind of role could I play? There were few enough parts for women--but a not-man, not-woman like me? ... I went through my gender change anyway - a stable gender identity mattered that much more at the time. As it turned out, I never got a stable gender identity. I did end up, however, with both orgasms and the theater.

Not sure if Tumblr can help better than anywhere else, but I've been crowdfunding. I need help getting to and from school. It costs about 15-16 dollars per lyft ride. And since i have to go to school 3 times a week that's around 45 dollars per week. If you can donate 1 or 5 or 10 that would be very helpful! Please help this black nonbinary lesbian finish school. Donta through this link here, its a go fund me! Until I graduate, I won't be able to get a second job due to time conflicts. Getting to school is important so I can graduate and finally be free from spending thousands every semester just to go to school. If you are able to, I would really appreciate the help.

Somehow, misgendering hurts ten times worse after coming out, especially from the people who claim to be supportive.
I put myself on the line, bared my soul, and you can’t even give me the common courtesy of attempting to use my correct pronouns?
The other day, I had an entire conversation with my mother about my gender, and what being nonbinary means, and the fact that I just started T. Then at the end of the conversation, she says “stay strong, girl.”
I don’t know how to respond to that. Was she not paying attention? Am I being too subtle? (Honestly, I don’t know how I can be more clear than saying “I use they/them pronouns.”) Does she think this is some fucking game I’m playing? Like I’m taking drugs to gender transition on a whim? This is real to me. This is everything.
But sometimes I feel like I’d be better off in the closet, suffering in silence. If nobody knows I’m trans, then technically it’s nobody’s fault if they misgender me.
I’m sick of coming out over and over again, just to be ignored.

Primary principles of transfeminism are simple. First, it is our belief that each individual has the right to define her or his own identities and to expect society to respect them. This also includes the right to express our gender without fear of discrimination or violence. Second, we hold that we have the sole right to make decisions regarding our own bodies, and that no political, medical or religious authority shall violate the integrity of our bodies against our will or impede our decisions regarding what we do with them. However, no one is completely free from the existing social and cultural dynamics of the institutionalized gender system. When we make any decisions regarding our gender identity or expression, we cannot escape the fact that we do so in the context of the patriarchal binary gender system. Trans women in particular are encouraged and sometimes required to adopt the traditional definition of femininity in order to be accepted and legitimatized by the medical community, which has appointed itself as the arbiter of who is genuinely woman enough and who is not. Trans women often find themselves having to “prove” their womanhood by internalizing gender stereotypes in order to be acknowledged as women or to receive hormonal and surgical interventions. This practice is oppressive to trans and nontrans women alike, as it denies uniqueness of each woman. Transfeminism holds that nobody shall be coerced into or out of personal decisions regarding her or his gender identity or expression in order to be a "real" woman or a “real” man.

Have some trans Enor Campaign NPCs for this TDoV!
Finnian
Drow Paladin (Oath of Redemption), brother of our party’s rogue, Finnian knew pretty early that he was not, in fact, a girl and was quietly supported by all of his family members. His mom might suck, but not in this particular direction. At the moment he’s busy beating up bullies twice his size during sparring sessions and picking up strays left and right.
Nika
My high wisdom dumbass pink tiefling druid who spends his days planning prison breaks, lounging on trees and flinging himself off of high places. If you would ask him his gender, he would just say yes. He loves poetry, the forest, justice, birds and flying. When he’s not trying to overthrow the government, he reads everything he can get his hands on.
Marik
Half-elven Cleric (Peace Domain), one of the smartest and most accomplished military leaders of the empire, she spends her days training recruits and finding the most promising soldiers. She has many nicknames which include Maiden of Mercy and The Golden Shield that inspire Finnian to follow her like a puppy. Her hobbies include showing the middle finger to elven nobility and being an overall badass.
Arek
A dwarven fighter I completely unironically based on Gimli when I first made him. He’s married to his lovely husband Vamir (high elven ranger aka Legolas) and they have two biological and one (freshly) adopted children. Just like his husband he left his family behind and spends his day gardening and bee keeping in the countryside.
Halvalin Lin
Halvalin is a high elven illusion wizard and has recently been adopted by Vamir and Arek after running away from her abusive home. She grew up in a very cisnormative and heteronormative society and doesn’t really know it yet, but she is some kind of nonbinary and started her journey by cutting her long hair into a buzzcut. Now she has all the time in the world to figure out how gender works and a trans dad to help her out with that.
Illifer
A grey tiefling ranger with a mysterious past who is now part of a poor tiefling community. They were recently abducted while trying to save some of their people from strange scientific experiments. Illifer was found starving by a goblin hermit living in the countryside and nursed back to health by them. They have been friends ever since.
Humming-of-the-bees
A yellow summer goblin living in a hollowed out hill in the countryside. Being a summer goblin Humming-of-the-bees hates the snow and the cold and they usually spend their winter days sort of hibernating in their hill home. They enjoy trying out different kinds of soups, long walks in the night and spending their time with animals rather than people.
Fan
An earth genasi (and... definitely something else...) Paladin (Oath of the Ancients) who is part of a freedom fighter group that lives in the forest. Fan has no concept of gender, being a 3m tall mountain of a person who’s, for big parts, made out of solid rock. Fan is the paladin of an illegal primal deity called Kol Yug Dan and they are the main reason that all of their reckless, angry friends are still alive.
Noa
Noa (??? bard/rogue) is a  close friend of Finnian, genderfluid and very confused by the cisnormative society they found herself in. He doesn’t like being the center of attention, which is one of the reasons why they like being friends with Finnian who attracts people like a flame attracts moths. She enjoys people watching and studying them like some sort of other species, is very blunt and has been described as a “complete weirdo” by many people.

Childhood Buddies
Tumblr media
Stickkit lightly padded after his best friend, Icekit, who they were having trouble finding while navigating the camp. He’d constantly bump into things and go the wrong way, so Icekit had informed them that xe had an idea. After a few more steps, he stopped and sat down, deciding they didn’t want to make a fool of themselves any longer.
“What’s this idea of yours?” He meowed, a hint of curiosity lacing their words as he spoke.
“You’ll see! Just stay where you are.” They heard Icekit say as he stayed put, confusion twisting their face.
Suddenly, he felt fluff cover their mouth and muffle the shocked noise that escaped him. Then, they heard Icekit chuckle and mew. “Grab onto my tail!”
With hesitance, Stickkit held onto their friend’s tail with his mouth. “That way I can help guide you.” They heard Icekit purr and move ahead, while the black and white kit began to tail along.

As a left wing liberal, genderqueer, bisexual, girl of colour, I absolutely HATE the term “birthing people”. It's so dehumanising and disgusting. I get that you want to be inclusive but do you have any idea what a weapon it is in the hands of misogynists? It's a fucking loaded gun aimed right at anyone who can give birth. We can't just boil down all the complexities of being a parent or a mother or a person who has children, to just giving birth. What about those who adopted?
It implies that women, not just women, trans and non-binary folk are vessels for giving birth. There is NOTHING wrong with the term “Mother” or “Parent”.
We have fought for CENTURIES trying to achieve equality. To make people understand that those who can give birth are more than their ability to give birth. That we are more than just tools of reproduction and this term undos all of that.
If y'all wanna be inclusive, then please come up with something OTHER than “birthing people”. Surely we can come up with something? I mean we're the same species that came up with the word “Gargantuan”

Hi! daily reminder that: 1) Bisexuality is attraction to your gender and others, not attraction to men and women exclusively.
2) Bisexuality has always included trans and non-binary people, it's in the bisexual manifesto. If there are transphobic bi ppl, that's their problem and not a problem with the label itself. There's gays and lesbians who only date cis ppl yet I don't see anyone making the argument that you're discriminatory if you use those labels and that we should make new ones that include trans ppl. Trans ppl are not less men or women than their cis counterparts. 3) The existence of other multi-sexual identities isn't harmful to bisexual ppl and we should stop saying that pansexuality isn't real because it is, and it's different from bisexuality even if they overlap.
4) Pansexual ppl need to stop spreading misinformation about what bisexuality means, because when you say pansexuality means "Attracted to men, women and everything in between" or as "Attracted to cis, trans and non-binary ppl", you give the false idea that bisexuality does not include trans folks or non-binary ppl. Please stop. Pansexuality isn't a more 'woke' version of bisexuality.
5) Bisexuality is attraction to your gender and others, while Pansexuality is attraction to all gender identities, a lot of times without a preference for one or other. Bisexuality is an umbrella term as in if you are pansexual, you are also technically bisexual and can choose to identify as both if you wish (Because you are attracted to your gender and others), while being bi doesn't necessarily mean you're pan (Because not all bi people are attracted to all genders and most bi ppl do have preferences). All multi-sexual labels are valid, and I hope I didn't offend any pansexual ppl while trying to define it. If you're pan and think I'm wrong please feel free to correct me.
