𝐀𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨 (𝐀𝐤𝐤𝐮𝐧)

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Atsushi Sendo (Akkun) x fem! shy reader
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Swearing
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭: with the help of your bestie, Hinata Tachibana, you find a way to confess to your crush.
Set in 2005 during the time when the Miso Middle Five are forced to fight in Kiyomasa’s fight club.

“H-Hinata-chan! wait!” Hinata Tachibana has been your best friend since primary school. You were shy and so it was difficult to make friends, but she just waltzed up to you and declared that you two were friends.
From that day forward she told you everything and you the same, which just so happened to lead to this one horrible moment.
“Hinata-chan please leave it! I’ll just stay lonely forever” you said in a somewhat hushed voice as you tried yet failed to pull her back.
“Oh, come on y/n, Takemichy-kun is friends with him so I’ll just go ask him” Hinata said, a smile plastered on her face as she marched her way over to the Mizo Middle Five.
y/n have a little squeak seeing that they were just a few feet away. She quickly let go of Hinata and went to hide close by, scared of what Hinata was gonna ask and Embarrassed by his answer.
“Hello!” Hinata jumped in front of them, causing Takemichy to burst out all happy and flustered stumbling over his words.
“Sorry Takemichi-kun but I’m not here for you right now” Hinata said holding a hand up towards him, crushing his soul. “I’m here on strict girl business” Takemichi’s friends laughed at him.
“You” the boys stopped laughing as Hinata pointed to their leader. “You’re Sendo Atsushi right?”
“Uh yeah?” Akkun, as everyone called him, looked at her confused.
Hinata stared at him for a bit, “what’s your dream girl?” the boys stopped, and y/n visibly cringed peeking to look at the boys from where she was hiding.
“What! Hina Noooo!”Takemichi cried, “please don’t leave meee!”
Hinata giggled at him, “it’s ok silly, I told you I’m here on strict girl business remember?” Takemichi whipped his tears. “Now you!” She looked back at Akkun waiting for an answer.
“Uhm, well I guess I really like a girl with long hair and a nice personality” Hinata nodded listening.
“oh and don’t forget big boobs” Makoto said making weird gestures.
“you perverts!” Hinata yelled before Slapping Akkun hard.
“Man, why did I get slapped?” He said rubbing his cheek as he stared and watched as Hinata walked away grabbing someone who was hiding behind a wall.
“Haha” The group laughed, “You got a feisty one there Takemitchy” Said man grumbled saying not to say that.
“c’mon y/n” Hinata grabbed the girl dragging her away, “hmph! all those boys, except for Takemitchy, are all perverts!”
“h-huh! but no, Sendo isn’t like that” she said. “but what did he say?” y/n asked curiously.
Hinata stayed quiet for a moment, before sighing and telling her what he said. “I don’t know what you see in them”
“I only like Akkun, the others kinda scare me and make me nervous. Actually they all make me nervous” y/n gave a little chuckle.
‘so he likes long hair?’ y/n thought to herself, her hands absentmindedly going to her hair running her fingers through it.
*ring*
“Ah, guess we better get going to class now” y/n said quietly as Hinata nodded her head.
“I’ll see you after class! bye bye!” the two skied before parting ways.
𖤣.𖥧.𖡼.⚘
“Now that I’m thinking about it, is there anyone you guys got the hots for? I know I’d totally hit that girl in math, uhh what’s her name?” Yamagishi said as the rest of them laughed.
“You’re totally not a ladies man, can’t even remember a girls name?” Akkun said shaking his head.
“Yeah well what about you huh? it was Tachibana who asked you the question” the others agreed with him.
“I dunno. Never really thought about it” He said leaning back in his chair.
“well if you had to pick one?” Makoto said, joining Yamagishi in his questioning towards Akkun.
“why’s it so important huh?” he said, “But, I guess if I had to pick one, it’d be y/n”.
“Hmmm, y/n- oh! she’s the one in history with the big boobs right?” (sorry if you don’t) Yamagishi said earning a slap over the back of his head.
“Don’t say it like that man!” Akkun looked at him sternly as Yamagishi rubbed the back of his head.
“right, my bad” he said sheepishly.
A silence fell over the group, “also I’ll be the one fighting today” the boys stayed silent looking down slightly.
“heh, you guys doubting my skills” Akkun said trying to lighten their spirits.
“yeah right! you’re totally gonna win today” one of them said
“that’s why you’re our leader”

It was now late in the night and cram school had finally ended. y/n was walking down the long road, hoping to be in the comforts of her home soon.
“Damn, that son of bitch really did a number on me” y/n stopped in her tracks hearing an all to familiar voice. She came to the top of a said of stairs leading down towards the voice.
“Sendo?” She said quietly, seeing his plum hair.
“oh, L/N hey” He said turning to look at her with a smile on his face. His face that was bloodied and bruised.
“Ah! oh my! are you ok” she quickly hurried down the stairs, to come face to face with him. Her shyness going away for a second as she grabbed his face checking over him.
“what happened?” she asked worriedly as he stared at her with wide eyes. She paused before taking her hands back, “I’m sorry i didn’t mean to!” she quickly bowed as he gave a light hearted laugh.
“it’s fine, and I’m ok.” he said flashing her a smile.
“But you’re covered in blood and your face is all bruised” she looked at him sadly.
‘Hm, I want to help but I don’t know how. what would Hinata do’ y/n thought to herself.
“Hmph!” Akkun looked at her confused, before he felt a harsh tug on his wrist.
y/n feeling a burst of confidence had grabbed his hand and began dragging the boy away.
“ah? I’m ok really L/N” he said sheepishly.
“well- e-even if you are, I’m still going to help you” she said. “My house isnt to far from here so I’ll take you there and wash that blood off you”
“thanks” He smiled at her, “oh Also you don’t have to call me Sendo” she turned back to him confused.“earlier you called me Sendo”
“oh. well ok, then you can call me y/n to make it fair” she said turning away from him her face flushed red as she continued to tug him along.
Akkun smiled looking up to the sky as he shoved his other hand into his pocket.
“I really like you” y/n paused.
“h-huh?!” y/n let go of his hand turning to look at him. “y-you like me?!”
“hah sorry-” “-why?” the two stared at each other.
“what do you mean why-” “-why are you sorry” the two stopped and laughed.
“Of course I like you” Akkun turned away and scratched the back of his neck, “you’re really sweet and kind” Akkun smiled at her. “sorry guess it’s kind of out of the blue”
y/n once again grabbed his hand and began dragging him back in their path. “I-I like you to!” y/n said not daring to look at him as she felt her shyness come back making her all nervous.
Akkun stared at her wide eyed, “so if I like you and you like me, does that mean you maybe wanna be my girlfriend?” he asked making y/n’s face flushed red as a darker shade of red.
She nodded unable to speak. Akkun chuckled “sweet”

Hey! sorry if there not a lot of like romance and stuff but I tried my best! hope you guys liked it!!

𝐊𝐨𝐤𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐨 𝐱 𝐅𝐞𝐦! 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Kokushibo | Michikatsu Tsugukuni x afab reader
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭: fluff, two-shot (maybe three parts?)
It was a cool autumn day, meanign winter should be right around the corner. y/n looked to the sky, watching as its beautiful colours slowly went from a soft blue to strong and powerful orange colours, indicating it was getting late. you should becareful, y'know. demons lurk around in the night, y/n could remember her elders saying that everytime she would return to the village late.
That didn't matter though, y/n had to stay out late if she had any chance of becoming a swordswoman one day. She raised her sword over her head and swung it down in a straight motion, she continued this until she saw a white dot land on her hands. Sheathing her sword she looked to the sky which was now dark, “the first snow of the season” y/n said, “how pretty. I should probably start to head home” She sighed and began her track down to her village.
𖤣.𖥧.𖡼.⚘
Kokushibo wasn't too fond of the hotter seasons, it reminded him too much of the sun, something he could never have or never be. A neutral expression on his face as he stopped and let snow fall around him, relishing in the cold climate.
He opened his eyes looking around as he heard an all too familiar sound, the sound of a sword. He walked on, seemingly trying to get closer to the sound as if trying to see who would be out this late, perhaps it was someone worthy of his time.
It was not..
It was a simple girl, she didn't appear to be a demon slayer, nor did she seem strong. "What a.. waste," he thought. Seeing women wield swords was strange to him. Being brought up in the Sengoku era he was taught that women were supposed to be simple housewives. he had seen plenty of demon slayers who were women and had fought many, however, it did not mean he respected the thought.
He had not received any orders from That man to kill anyone, and he was not one to fight unless necessary. yet he found himself staring at her for longer than he should have been.
She stopped, only just noticing the snow that had been falling around her. He watched as she sheathed her sword and stared at the sky. She whipped her head around seemingly looking for something. Kokushibo knew she could sense him watching her, yet he remained hidden, not wishing to interact with any humans at the moment.
y/n said nothing as she stared into the dark forest, something was there, she could sense its powerful presence, "A demon perhaps" she said quietly to herself. She kept her hand on her sword, thinking to herself. 'Running might not work if its faster than me, but I can't stay out here forever' She weighed her options seemingly choosing to speak.
But before she could Kokushibo had already revealed himself, standing in the far distance surrounded by the dark forest. Y/n couldn't help but stare at his six eyes, 'how pretty', she quickly shook the thought out of her head. This was a demon! a murderer, don't let your guard down.
Y/n's face was neutral, not showing any signs of emotion, Kokushibo honestly thought she looked rather tired and dead. "Who are you, what do you want" Her voice held power as she demanded to know who he was.
Kokushibo's eyes widened in anger, who did this pathetic woman think she was. "My name.. is of no concern to you," He said glaring at her.
She eyed him carefully as she took small steps away from him. She could sense the sheer force of his aura, y/n was no match to fight him.
"leaving.. already?" she halted. Kokushibo did not like his opponent running from a fight, he thought it was quite "pathetic".
"I can sense how strong you are, you could kill me in an instant, and I do not wish to die tonight. but, if that is how to gods have planned it then so be it." y/n held her composure, challenging his statement. Kokushibo was surprised at how she held no fear towards him, she had already accepted her death, whether it come today or in 20 years. "Are you going to kill me or are you gonna stare at me all night?"
Kokushibo scoffed at her statement, "Not tonight... perhaps later.. though" he said before he vanished.
𖤣.𖥧.𖡼.⚘
Over the next few weeks, y/n had continued to stay out late practicing her sword skills as she always would. Each night she could still sense him watching her, but each night she would say nothing. Some nights he was there some nights he wasn't. Y/n felt weird to say it but, him being there became part of her daily routine.
Kokushibo on the other hand didn't know why he continued to come back, but he did and he would silently watch her from afar. He never said anything after the night he first met you but he just stood there, for hours on end as he watched you refine your tallent.
"Why is it that you spared me that night?" Y/n spoke sheathing her sword, her back turned to Kokushibo. "Why is it you spare me now?" There was no answer to her question, instead Kokushibo had now stood directly behind her and looked up to the sky.
Y/n sighed, She sat down removing her sheathed sword from her side. "Please sit" She said but Kokushibo simply stared at her. "If you are going to continue to watch me I thought you'd perhaps like to sit and maybe talk, but I can tell you're not one for talking"
Kokushibo eyed her suspiciously, "If you are not going to sit then please leave, I have training to get back to". Kokushibo sat down beside her.
"That sword on your hip, " He looked at her, "do you know how to use it?" She questioned.
"yes.." That was all he said. It was quiet, too quiet. Y/n wasn't one to talk a lot but it was to quiet for her liking.
“Why is it.. that you are not… afraid of me?” Kokushibo questioned. Y/n wasn’t surprised by the question, she had assumed this demon was used to screams and people cowering in fear.
“I don’t know” y/n looked down, “I guess you could say I do not fear death”
“Why is that?” He pressed on. Kokushibo listened intently as this girl spoke to him about her life. One thing she repeated a lot was that a woman won’t ever make it as a sword man in this world.
“You must be very… passionate about the.. art of the sword”
“Yes, but it annoys me knowing that men will always be stronger than me” Kokushibo hummed, knowing that feeling of hatred and jealousy all to easy.
Perhaps talking to this girl wasn’t to bad. “I must go now… It was… interesting meeting you”
Y/n bowed to him “my name is y/n. I hope to see you again demon” she said yet when she brought her head back up he was gone.
“I hope we can talk again soon”

Servamp Headcannon's
I really enjoyed doing Jujutsu Kaisen men dating HC's, {Link here}, and seeing as many people liked that one, I decided to do Servamp headcannon's. so like how they met you and you potentially became their eve.
Kuro/Sleepy Ash
same old same old
you found him on the streets, surprisingly not in his cat form
you felt bad for him so you offered to get him some food, but he declined your offer and lied down
"sounds too bothersome"
so instead of just leaving him be you go ahead and walk to the nearest ramen store, get some ramen and walk back to him
"so uhh what's your name? and why are you out on the streets?"
you'd start asking all these questions while he just slurped on his ramen
"hey are you gonna eat that?" you were so caught up in talking that you had forgotten to eat your own ramen
after you were done chatting, mainly just you talking, you went ahead and took your leave forgetting all about the questions that you had asked earlier
just when he thought he could finally be alone you kept coming back
but he didn't mind as long as you kept bringing him ramen
one day he was expecting you to come but you didn't, same the next day, and the day after that
the poor vampire couldn't help but worry, just a tiny bit though, tbh I think he was more annoyed than anything
"god, she's so bothersome"
after the third day that you didn't show up and bring him ramen, he finally decided that he should probably go look for you
when he found you, you were different
like almost all the light in your eyes that he had seen before was gone
so just like any other normal person, he followed you home where he found the unthinkable
you were in an abusive relationship
when he saw your "boyfriend" something came over him and before he knew it the guy was dead on the floor , yes!
and tbh although you were surprised and a bit scared you still asked him questions, like you normally would
and he explained it to you, much to his displeasure
he told you about vampires and how he was a Servamp and how Servamp's got eves
"so wait, I gave you all that ramen does that mean-"
he cut you off explaining it more
"I understand if you don't wanna hang out anymore"
even after all that's happened you continued to hangout you even gave him a key to your apartment which accidentally triggered the contract
"sorry! sorry! sorry! sorry! sorry! sorry!" you repeated multiple times while he told you it was fine
"I wouldn't mind if you were my eve anyway"
Hyde/Lawless
the first time you met him, you were all alone in your apartment singing when you heard a small tap on your windowsill
it was a small, hedgehog? maybe
"oh you poor thing, you must've been cold out in the rain huh?"
you gently picked him up and put him in some blankets while you continued to cook your food and sing
"my my my, what a lovely voice you have"
all of a sudden there's a guy sitting on your couch, and of course you screamed
you don't know where this guy came from, and how the hell he got into your apartment
"calm down jeez, to think that beautiful voice of yours can make a sound like that"
he then went on to explain servamp's and vampires and eves
you were pretty surprised about the whole thing but you actually thought it was pretty cool that vampires exist.
"and I would like you to be my precious eve"
that comment made you hit him over the head with a pan
of course he refused to leave you alone, always following you, trying to get you to be his eve
at first you weren't to sure about it, from the way he explained it to you, he would practically be yours and he would obey every command you gave him
but, seeing as your so kind you became his eve
you ended up making him a little dog tag with his name on it
"I hope you like it"
you said with a smile as he just kept staring at it
"your just like her"
Lily/All Of Love
the first time you saw him, he was in his butterfly form
you were walking through the streets when you saw your favourite flower
you bought some and as you were walking home a very pretty butterfly landed on them
"why hello there"
your voice was sweet and gentle
after a while of waiting it started to rain so you started to walk home
noticing that the butterfly wasn't leaving you sheltered it to the best of your ability
"oh I hope you're ok now"
he didn't move for a while which worried you but then he began to fly away
he ended up following you almost everywhere for the entire duration of his stay
"well seeing as your not going anywhere, any time soon, what should I call you? hmm, how about Lily"
and thus the contract was formed
"why thank you y/n"
at first you were so surprised you pretty much fainted, I mean who wouldn't!
you just about watched a fricking butterfly, turn into a full grown ass man!
when you woke up he explained everything to you, and how you were now his eve
you were very fascinated by the whole thing, but it then turned sad when he spoke about his past
you comforted him when he started to feel sad and eventually you fell asleep (again) in his arms
Hello I know this isn't all of our beloved servamps, but once again I haven't been able to get the manga to this and I cant seem to find the other seasons apart from season 1 😭.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed it! it was really hard to write something for Lily hence why its short, but I got there in the end.
Feel free to put in any requests you may have as i do not mind doing other animes, these are just some that I will mainly focus on.
At the moment I do not have any rules set in place, I am open for smuts, angst, lemons/limes, or fluff. And if you really wanted I can also do ABO stuff, or Headcannons, just put in a request and I’ll tell you what I think!

Idk if you have rules for requests so I’ll just go with this and see if it’s ok: JJK men (Gojo Nanami Toji Geto Sukuna) dating HCs!
Of course I can. Although I can’t do much for Toji and Geto as I haven’t read much of the manga yet and can’t quite pinpoint their personality, but I can do Gojo, Nanami and Sukuna!

Jujutsu Kaisen Dating HC’s!
ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤: Jujutsu Kaisen Men x s/o Dating HC
ℝ𝕖𝕢𝕦𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕕: By Anon
Satoru Gojo
I feel like if Gojo was dating anyone he would be supper clingy:
always buying you stuff when he'd go away, and same when vice versa
when he'd come home from long trips he'd make this big entrance and burst through the front door to your shared apartment.
"y/n! I bought y/f/f!" (your favourite food)
the instant you heard him through the door you'd stop what you're doing and go straight to him and give him cuddles.
Gojo's like 6'3 so I feel like when y'all cuddling on the couch he'll somehow maneuver the two of you so that your on top of him looking up at him.
He'd definitely find ways to fluster you, like calling you cute or small in front of his students
sometimes maybe even fluster you in inappropriate ways, if you know what I mean 😳
totally big for PDA
oh and don't even get me started in the bedroom 😏
like yeah sure he's cute and affectionate but just wait till things get heated
"c'mon baby. I know you love it" saying it in that sweet sexy voice of his just gets you even more flustered
tbh he'd be gentle at the start but idk about later just gotta see how things role
aftercare.... omg aftercare
this man, would just smother you with kisses
hell he'd probably even run you a warm bath
Gawd damn! lowkey, this man just be the perfect bf! like honestly who wouldn't want this man to just rail them and spoil them with overseas food and shit
Ryomen Sukuna
I feel like he'd be really mean and bossy, yet I also feel like he'd spoil you a lot and do a whole bunch of grand gestures:
Sukuna being like a god and everything always gets what he wants, whether it come naturally or it be forceful
like at the start he'd probably make a few grand gestures to 'win you'
not win you over but like actually 'win you'
and if that didn't work he'd definitely forcefully take you and lock you up until you succumb to your defeat.
Sukuna would not have picked you to be his because of your personality, no, he picked you because you were sexy
"you are mine, no one is to ever touch you but me. do you understand"
He has a huge ego so he'd totally make you call him master or sir
eventually once you warm up to him and open up your feeling to him and show him your interests and blah blah blah, he'd start feeling the same
"what the hell have you done to me woman"
like he ain't gonna start being respectful straight away but he'd definitely be feeling things
ok so like if this is before Yuji is his host or whatever, he'd be like 3 meters tall...
THREE FUCKING METERS TALL
he'd definitely dominate you anytime anywhere
like he don't give a fuck where you guys are or what fucking time it is, he's practically a god right now
"that's right scream my name"
he'd honestly rail you to the point where you cant talk, walk, or do anything
aftercare? what's that?
like I said he may be feeling things but he's still got a big ego
sure he'd probably cuddle you and stuff but that's all your getting out of him
Kento Nanami
I feel like Nanami would be super respectful:
this man would be the perfect house husband hands down
like Gawd damn! he be super respectful towards you
I feel like the way you guys would've met, would've been you being in a rush and bumping into him and you dropped like everything you had in your hands
and him being the respectful gentlemen he is, he got down and helped you pick up your stuff
but seeing as you were in such a rush you completely forgot to take your wallet out of his hands and you ran off
later that evening he had called you and you agreed to meet up
one thing led to another and you two became really close
soon he confessed to you that he liked you and that he wanted to go on a proper date with you
"y/n, I would like to go on a date with you"
you'd be all confused like 'what do you mean - haven't we already been doing that'
and then he'd have to thoroughly explain it to you to get his point across
"you mean we haven't already been dating" you would say all embarrassed and flustered
thankfully him being the polite man he is he'd say 'of course' and just smile along with it
after that you two would start going on more and more dates and start doing romantic stuff
like he'd be respectful and all but ain't no way is he making a move further, he just too respectful
like telling himself "I'll wait until she's ready"
but like you keep making hints and stuff but he just ain't getting it that's when you think of The Plan
you made the move on him the night of your 4 month anniversary
at the start you topped him but when you were going too slow he took over
now aftercare... this man has already prepared a bath and everything
like this man came prepared
he saw what you were doing and he prepared for it
like oops forgot protection, man screw that shit he put the pill in your breakfast this morning
this mad also dream boyfriend
Hi, I hope this was ok! sorry, I couldn't do the other two but i really did enjoy doing this!
if anyone has any other request please feel free to let me know!

OH MY GOD THIS IS JUST THE CUTEST!!!🥺 full credit to the original author but this was just beautiful 🥰
a heart that doesn't beat can't love, right?
my terribly late contribution to Heaven&Hell Collab hosted by beautiful @semisgroupie
Warnings: 18+, smut, minors do not interact! blood, human corpse, decapitation, sheer fear, crying, reincarnation, flustered and cheeky Akaza, reader is 18 yrs old, forest sex, heavy angst, ends in fluff. Word count: 9.2k Characters: Akaza | Soyama Hakuji x fem!reader
Snippet: For you, the smile of a demon was terrifying. Hundreds of thoughts crossed your mind; dozens of regrets for things you’ve said and done – or haven’t – a multitude of wishes you’ve made upon a falling star, all your beautiful memories of life so far. You’ve sworn to yourself not to be weak again and to face your fears, yet you couldn’t look death in the eyes. Even if that death was strangely attractive.
There were days when Muzan had no orders to give. Even though he lived to serve, Akaza enjoyed his free days. Not fond of his guild colleagues, he spent that time honing his skills on a secluded part of the forest. Requiring no food, nor sleep, the upper-rank demon spent hours on a loop gesturing his techniques, practising them on bypassers who were unfortunate enough to catch his gaze.
As the villagers from an area started fearing him, Akaza made sure to flee. It was one of the most efficient ways to avoid or escape demon slayers – of course, if permission to kill them had not been granted beforehand by his master.
The moon was full that night when he stopped in what he chose as a training spot for the next period. The demon felt the strange silence around. No animals, nor birds, not even wind. The stillness of the place was bothering him for a reason he could not comprehend. Once he became a demon, Akaza had been freed from his human ability to feel, yet there was a coil in his stomach that disrupted his focus. However, he persisted in his meditation. That until an ear-bleeding shout captured his whole attention.
Set on annihilating the source of annoyance, Akaza hurried towards it. The senzorial path brought him to a small village whose nearby presence he had not been aware of. A trail of blood and a headless body in the middle of the road announced the presence of another demon. It couldn’t have been an upper-rank, Akaza was sure of that, for all of them had some sort of class. They wouldn’t go around killing meaningless people in remote poor villages. Therefore, it was probably a low rank, or worse, an animalistic version of an incomplete demon.
After deciding he had no reason to get his hands dirty with another’s problem, Akaza turned on his heels to leave. That was the moment his eyes briefly fell on the image of you, terrified, breathless, backed up in the corner of a room, desperate for help. He had seen you through a broken window and unintentionally frowned.
“Help me,” you mouthed, even though from his appearance you could tell he was a demon too.
A moment later, your attacker found you. He rushed towards, driven by the killing instinct and you shut your eyes, not yet prepared to die.
In the blink of an eye, with no apparent control over his actions, Akaza stood in front of you, a step away, holding the other demon’s head by the hair. You choked on your breath, partly relieved that you still had one, partly terrified by the second demon. This one’s aura radiated even more power, more evil.
“Why did I do this?” Akaza asked himself out loud, discarding the head next to the corpse. “Not my type to fight my own kind.”
He looked at you from head to toe, noticed the quick rhythm of your breaths, the messy hair and the tear-stained cheeks. Your clothes were covered in dust and blood, yet the smell didn’t trigger much in him. Since forever, Akaza has loathed weak humans. The sight of a weakling made his skin crawl, but there was something about you that painted a different image in his head.
When it came to you though, you felt already dead. There was no way a stronger demon would let you live after claiming you from another one. You couldn’t run, you couldn’t fight, you couldn’t even think straight. However, one thing caught your attention enough to rip you from your horror. This second demon talked. You assumed he even understood when you asked for his help, but could you actually communicate with him?
“T-thank you…” You muttered, jaw shaking too hard to articulate words properly.
The more he looked at your features, the deeper the hollow in Akaza’s guts. He did not quite understand what was happening but he could tell it was because of you. There was something a bit too familiar about you and being in the dark about it angered Akaza greatly.
“Get out. Get out of here,” he ordered in a heavy serious tone.
The low notes of his voice sent shivers down your spine but from the look on his face, you understood he would really let you go. Without wasting another second, you stormed outside and ran as far as your feet could take you.
Left behind with nothing but a new staking pain in his chest and a floating question, Akaza listened to the tick-tock of the clock mounted on the wall behind him until the realisation hit him.
“It can’t be,” he talked to himself again, as a load of memories he had lost a long time ago flooded his mind, making him lose his composure.
~
Killing a whole village did nothing but bring the demon slayers’ attention onto those parts of the land again, which got Akaza scolded – tortured – by Muzan, for being a disappointment of a son.
The wounds caused by his master differed from any other, so it took Akaza more time to heal. Although the Hashiras counted a small number and they were known to be scattered in all directions, Muzan’s order was clear: spread apart and stay hidden. He needed his higher ranks if he wanted to eliminate the demon slayers, so he could not afford to lose any of them.
Obeying as always, Akaza left the headquarters. At first, he thought he was running without a purpose or destination, especially because his mind was still tormented by images of you he had never seen before, of scenes that unfolded in his mind and which he recognised without having lived through them. However, he soon found himself at the gates of the village where he saved your life.
It had to be where you lived. He spent his night prying into every house in the village, careful not to be spotted until, eventually, his eyes found you. The coil in Akaza’s stomach returned and he stepped away from the window. It wasn’t in his character to make mistakes, therefore he felt utterly pathetic for knocking down a flower pot. He sensed the immediate silence laid in the room and tried leaving, but since his body felt heavier than ever, he only managed a few steps before he heard your voice.
“You’re back…”
You whispered, however he heard as loud and clear as the blood boiled in his veins. It was unbelievable.
“Did you eat anyone?” You asked with sadness in your voice.
“No,” he answered. “I’m not here to eat,” he continued, in the same serious but troubled tone.
You weren’t sure what had gotten into you for holding a conversation with a human-killing creature that could snap your neck in a second. You couldn’t take your eyes off of him, nonetheless. Everything was interesting about the demon in front of you: from the colour of his hair and the mesmerising design of his tattoos, to the very existence of such a magic-borne being.
“Then why are you here?”
You did not receive an answer at first, which made you regret posing a question you haven’t thought through. The demon had not flinched since you opened the window but you couldn’t be sure of anything. Would you get away if you shut the window before he charged at you or was he faster than that? From the previous encounter you recalled his speed but why would he save you only to kill you later?
The more time passed in the static space, the harder it was for Akaza to control himself. With all the boundaries he had set, the selenar turned around and caught you staring.
“The last time our eyes met, you almost died,” he said.
“But not by your hand. You saved me. Why? And why are you here now? Please take me if you want, but leave my family alone,” you begged, teary-eyed by now, seeing the empty look in the demon’s eyes.
He found you bold for talking like that. You surprised him by not being as weak as he first saw you, yet again, he wasn’t showing his full nature. Maybe you did not fear him because you thought you could escape from that distance – how foolish. One step if he took towards would’ve been enough to scare the shit out of you.
You didn’t change the look in your eyes after his first step, though, so he continued. Your hand still held the window open after he walked half the distance. His interest was beyond spiked. From up-close, Akaza could see your arms shivering in fear and your bottom lip caught between your teeth. He analysed all your features and a tint of smile showed on his lips.
For you, the smile of a demon was terrifying.
His fingers were cold on your cheek and the fear of the upcoming death didn’t allow you to open your eyes. When a tear rolled down your cheek and touched his finger, Akaza retracted it. He sighed, then walked away. You kept your eyes closed for a few more moments before you dared to look around. Once again, you were still alive but now more puzzled than before.
No matter how much you struggled, you couldn’t put yourself to rest that night. You raked your brains on and on, questioning whether the trauma inflicted by the first demon took its toll on you, whether you had imagined the whole interaction or you were simply losing your mind.
For the next few days, you continued to live your life as normally as possible. However, when the night fell, you would move all the flower pots aside and keep your curtains open. It seemed like madness to wait, to hope that the striped demon would return, but the desire to speak to him again was burning bright.
You’d often fall asleep by the window sill, at the desk or even outside. Your family scolded you for your irresponsibility but since nothing bad happened, you continued. Little did you know that Akaza was close-by every night. His mere presence in the area kept all the demons away – and you safe. Unlike the first time, he hid himself better, to be able to watch over you without getting caught in the attention and trust you’d naively offer him.
Akaza loved to watch you braid your hair before bed, and remove your make-up. He looked away when you changed your clothes, scoffed seeing you pray, wondering why you would offer your faith to gods that allowed creatures to masacre one another. He would only come close to your window once he was sure your sleep was deep enough. He would count your shallow breaths and smile when you twitched in your sleep. Akaza spent a few nights in your unaware company and only left when the other inhabitants would wake up and start rummaging through the house.
On one occasion, right before dawn, when he was supposed to take his heart in his teeth and leave, Akaza went through something that changed him forever. You turned in your sleep and, following the desire in your dream, you grabbed his hand. The demon was too surprised to even react, so he remained there, trying to understand how he could feel the warmth of your touch with his soul instead of his hand. He was risking it – he was risking his own life staying there with you as the Sun climbed higher and higher from between the mountains.
The first second your eyes met his, you almost shouted. To be honest, it was terrifying to wake up to anyone staring at you in your sleep, let alone a demon. Nonetheless, you did not make a noise for Akaza’s hold was gentle.
“Don’t yell,” he said.
You retracted your hand when he freed it and you raised your head from the pillow. Summarily dressed, you felt exposed, so you pulled the blanket higher. What were you supposed to say? Was he there for a reason? The thought that he might have done something to you in your sleep hit hard, but before you imagined the worst scenarios, the demon talked again.
“I go by Akaza. As you very well know, I am a demon. I don’t understand why I am so drawn to you and I can’t control this feeling in my chest whenever I look at you.”
The words coming out of his mouth sounded surreal. You couldn’t hold back a sheepish smile. Was he saying he had feelings for you?
“If it matters, I find you interesting, too. Do you…” it was beyond reckless to even think something like that was plausible, let alone to request it, however you finished your question. “Do you want to be friends?”
He had heard that word before but he could not understand its meaning.
“Friends?”
“Yes. People become friends when they get along, understand each other and have similar interests.”
“You and I have nothing in common.”
“Well, because we don’t know each other.”
A few more seconds and he would have been trapped in your house until sundown. Although your morning voice was the most soothing sound he had ever heard and he couldn’t erase the image of your hand in his, Akaza couldn’t risk his life for a human, he just couldn’t.
“Maybe another time,” he said as he vanished into thin air.
Of course, you re-lived the scene a thousand times and one throughout that day, and excused yourself from most human interaction as soon as the Sun set. You pretended to be sick and sad, so you would be left alone to rest when, in reality, you were waiting by the window to see Akaza again.
He did not visit you that night. Not the night after either. And for the following week you had trouble sleeping, picturing something bad happening to him. He was a vile creature, a murderer, yet there was something oddly familiar about him. With your will fixed on discovering that mystery, you paid a visit to the village’s elder. You asked him if he knew of anyone from the village to have been turned into a demon. Your question came off as suspect but you played it cool, blamed it on curiosity. The elder was, well, very old, no one knew his true age since most of his close relatives were dead, so you hoped he would be able to give you any drop of information. Even so, his only answer was that many had died by demons’ doing. Disappointed and even more conflicted, you returned home. The sound of the door being locked echoed in the room, birthing shivers down your spine. When you turned around, your face hit dead-cold skin.
“You shouldn’t roam around at night. There are demons in this area.”
Akaza’s deep voice pinned you on the spot.
“I’m… I’m sorry.”
I don’t need your apology.”
“Then why did you scold me?”
“I couldn’t feel your presence here and I feared.”
With your heart drumming loudly, you took a step back to look up at him.
“That’s what a friend would do, you know?
That was the first night you didn’t sleep at all. You could tell something was different about the demon’s aura, so you decided to take your chance.
“What do you want to talk about? Or are you here to finally kill me?”
“I don’t kill women.”
“Right…”
Then, in the most natural way, you sat on the edge of the bed and tapped the spot next to you. To both your surprise, Akaza accepted to sit.
“I never held meaningless conversations,” he said.
“Well, I have. Let me introduce myself. My name is–...”
“I know who you are.”
“You do?”
“Yes. Or at least I think I do. You will probably find it hard to believe but you’re my lover.”
That demon boy was sitting so stiff on the bed, with his hands on his knees and a serious look on his face. What he said made no sense, but you tried to find an explanation.
“Uhm… as in you’ve chosen me to be your demon queen? Do I get to live forever? Wait, I don’t want to kill people…”
The natural childish way you reacted managed to steal a laugh from Akaza. It was more of a scoff but you caught the smile in the corner of his lips.
“Answer me this: a few nights ago you barely wanted to be friends with me and now I’m your lover? What if I don’t love you?”
When his memories returned to him, Akaza lost the track of time. Everything hit him at once and it hurt to remember all the horrors you and him have been through before he got turned. In his head, you were the you from back then, the you whom he’d sworn to protect with his life, the you whom he was supposed to marry. But you were not that person anymore.
About an hour later, your eyes were puffy and red from all the crying Akaza’s story caused you. You drenched your sleeves in tears and pulled your nose, you let out little squeaks and deep sighs, and by the time he reached the present time, a headache had installed.
“You haven’t changed a bit,” Akaza said.
“How can you say that? You’ve been a demon for at least a century… I am not your lover,” you sobbed through your words.
He saw you looking at the napkin on your desk, so he grabbed it and gently wiped the tears off your cheeks. The emptiness in his stomach, the lump in his throat and the burning urge to touch and hold you were taking their time torturing the demon who was not supposed to feel any of them. He pulled away when you looked him in the eyes, but the words were already rolling off his tongue.
“You are reincarnated, I’m sure of it.”
“Why am I not surprised? I mean, demons exist, why wouldn’t reincarnation be a real thing too?”
You scoffed and, although you were questioning if it was just a fever dream, the boy’s touch was palpably real.
“No one cries like you. And no one smells like you.”
The headache became unbearable. You curled up into a ball and kept hiccuping from all the earlier crying, all while watching the strange being on the edge of your bed. The story he had told you was insane and you had troubles believing it, but the more you tried to reject it, the more intense was that feeling deep inside you that you knew that man. You rewinded it back to the first time you saw him. Why did you call for him so naturally? How did you know he was going to save you? Did you, at least? Or was it just the most desperate measure you could take when your life was at stake?
“Akaza?”
A sad look was the only answer to your question.
“What is going to happen now? If all you said is true, then… what now?” You asked, wiping your cheek on the pillow and hugging the blanket more.
Not only was it the strangest thing to have ever happened, but it also was sad. Out of all the boys in the world, you had your heart set ablaze by a dead one. How foolish and futile was that? Yes, he was gentle; yes, he had saved your life; yes, he worried for you and visited you, but… a heart which doesn’t beat can’t love, right?
As he remained silent, you searched within yourself the power to send him away, to ask him to forget you. The sheet got wrinkled by your restless fingers that put on display the nervousness writhing in your soul. Unexpectedly, Akaza’s cold hand found its place on top of your warm one and he squeezed it. When you looked into his eyes this time, they weren’t empty anymore.
“I understand that I have lost everything. My existence is pointless now, aside from the fact that I serve my master’s purpose. I am but a mercenary and my only aspiration is to get stronger than I already am… but I remember now that I wanted to become stronger before too, so I could protect you. And when I failed to do so, the trauma must’ve instilled in me and became the reason I accepted to be turned into a demon. It gave me more power, but it didn’t give you back.”
The light squeeze of his fingers electrified your whole arm, and before his lips parted to spill more explanation and apologies, you sat up and hugged his torso. He got startled by it, of course, but made no move to reject, nor welcome you. Right there, with your face hidden underneath one half of his short, cut-open haori, you made a promise you had no idea how you could keep:
“I will help you get back everything you’ve lost.”
The words shouldn’t have had that much impact on the demon since he knew time was irreversible, yet after experiencing other feelings than anger and blood hunger for the first time in a hundred years, Akaza indulged himself in the grain of hope sowed in his soul by you. He had second thoughts about hugging you back, not sure how hard he should squeeze, not sure whether the cold skin of his arms would harm you, not sure whether you wanted him to touch you in return. So he sat there, feeling the increasing rhythm of your heart beats, until you pulled away.
“Why are you laughing?” Akaza asked, seeing how you wiped some tears while giggling.
“I was just thinking about this whole situation and I can’t believe it’s real.”
“I am more confused than you are…”
When the morning light became too threatening, Akaza bid you farewell, but this time he didn’t disappear without a trace. He climbed the edge of your window and before crossing outside, he felt his shirt grabbed.
“Don’t just… lurk, ok? Come see me again,” you requested.
With a simple nod of his head, Akaza slipped from your grasp and sped toward the forest.
If before he chose not to interact too much with his upper-rank colleagues, now he did his best to avoid them. He was sure they would notice something had changed in his attitude and he couldn’t afford to be considered weak, or worse, to have them feel your smell from his clothes and put you in danger. He was known as a lonely wolf, so being away for a long time didn’t stir anyone’s interest, not even Muzan’s, especially since Akaza kept fulfilling all the missions assigned to him and kept his master pleased. Lucky for him, he thought, as he made his way towards your village after a few days’ absence.
The closer he got to your house, the better he could feel your scent. The thought of being in your presence again made him nervous and tied his insides in such a way he believed he would vomit. Why he was in that state, how it was even possible, the demon could not understand.. He was paying attention to all the sounds coming from where you were, afraid to hear or find any sign that a bad thing had happened to you. And then he saw you – combing your hair in front of the mirror, still wearing your day time clothes. Quickly and unforeseen, Akaza looked around and after finding what he was looking for, he closed the distance between him and you.
He knocked on the open window frame with two knuckles and called your name. You smiled seeing his reflection in the mirror and turned to welcome him properly. However, only after you stood up and saw him fully, did you realise he had brought you a gift: a handful of white wild flowers, harshly picked from the ground.
“Akaza…”
“If you don’t like them, you can throw them away.”
“What?! No! I love them!” You exclaimed, cupping your palms around the flowers’ stems.
You were too astonished by the gesture and by the beauty of such simple flowers that you didn’t notice the shy smile Akaza displayed. You welcomed him inside the room and closed the windows to make sure no one could hear the two of you talking in the middle of the night. The amount of questions you would be getting from your family if they heard voices from your room at night, let alone a male’s, was something you did not want to face.
“Why are you not in bed yet?” Akaza asked, seeing you fully dressed, with no trace of tiredness on your face.
“I slept a bunch of hours earlier so I wouldn’t be sleepy. I thought we could do… things.”
Your voice faded as you realised how much of an innuendo was what you just said. Even more, Akaza’s thin brow lifted in surprise and you panicked.
“Wait, no, I didn’t mean it as… you know…” you tried to explain, fidgeting with the hem of your dress. “I was thinking we could go outside, for a walk through the forest or something like that…”
“We could, if that’s what you want,” he replied and opened the windows back, to get outside.
It boggled your mind how easy he crossed the sill, well, not that his physique didn’t announce he had quite an amount of abilities. You, on the other hand, needed to bring a chair in front of the window to climb up. Your long dress was an impediment to spreading your legs on each side of the wall, so you ended up on your knees on the window frame.
“What are you doing?” Akaza asked, looking at you with his head tilted to the side.
“I am struggling, as you can see. Could you please… lend me a hand?”
He watched you climb up; he saw you making the wrong moves that got you in that weird posture and made it almost impossible for you to get outside the house without falling face forward on the ground. He reached both his hands toward you but before you detached yours from the window frame, that you held for dear life, and reached them to grab Akaza’s, he had already caught you by your waist and behind your knees, and lifted you just enough to get you outside. Your arms circled his neck by instinct and you found yourself touching your nose against his for a moment. You were lightweight to him, so he didn’t feel the need to put you on your feet too soon.
“Th-thank you,” you muttered, looking away.
“No problem,” he answered as he put you down.
The weather was warm in that period of the year and not even deep in the forest could you feel any cold wind. The only sound the two of you heard was the one of your own steps. Well, maybe a nocturnal rodent here and there, who ran at the first scent of humans, or an owl who judged from a high tree branch.
You told Akaza your life story, which was really not a long one, with way less events than his. You gladly answered all the questions he had, which seemed to be his way of confirming that you were the reincarnation of his lover. Because of that, you talked about many things that night. About your family and how close you were to them, about your favourite food and beverage, about your hobbies, your fears and your dreams, even about your type of men.
“I don’t know my type in men,” you admitted with a face fully on fire. “I’ve never been close with a man. My parents received a request for my hand in marriage three years ago, but I refused so vehemently to become a wife at 15 and I was lucky enough they understood and accepted my feelings.”
So you were 18. The same age he was when you died. Maybe it was not too late, after all. Well, except for the fact that he was a non-ageing immortal and you were a human. He scoffed at his foolish thoughts and re-focused on what you were saying right when you noticed he was paying attention anymore.
“I am becoming boring, is that right?”
“No, not at all. I was just thinking about something and lost my attention. I’m sorry. What were you saying?”
“Most probably something not as important as the thing that distracted you. What was it? May I know?”
For the longest moment, Akaza pondered whether to speak his mind or not. Eventually, seeing you wait so patiently for him to make a decision, he confessed.
“I was thinking that maybe it’s not too late.”
“Too late for what?”
“For this.”
Akaza had never held something gentler and more carefully in his hand than how he did with your hand in that moment. He started walking immediately after, pulling you along. And you mindlessly followed him. Your palm was burning at the touch, and you wondered for a second if it was only in your imagination or he was using some magic technique on you. But he wasn’t. He was feeling the same burn in his palm and it spread throughout his body as the two of you continued on your walk.
The world around disappeared. No more sounds, no more images, no more smells. The only things that existed were you and Akaza, holding hands and walking in complete silence towards the unknown. If someone were to see you, they would’ve believed you got charmed by the demon and led to certain death, but they could not even comprehend the truth that the demon was the one charmed.
When the birds began waking up and their trills broke away the intimacy, Akaza fell sad.
“I have to go…”
“I know. I can walk back home by myself, don’t worry.”
“Under no circumstance I would let that happen.”
“But the Sun is coming up. If you can’t withhold it, neither can other demons. I will be fine.”
“Demons or not, this forest is full of wild animals. Let’s take you back first.”
“But there won’t be enough time.”
“Not if we walk.”
Super-strength wasn’t the only ability the demon had, you figured, but a light-speed piggyback ride wasn’t something you expected. Or enjoyed. The moment your feet felt the ground again, you almost vomited.
“I’m sorry… I should’ve known your human body couldn’t handle this…” Akaza apologised, placing a hand on your back.
“I’m good. I’m just going to rush to the bathroom with morning sickness. It’s fine, really. At least I don’t have to fake sleep when my parents come to check on me,” you giggled a bit but then covered your mouth.
“Take care,” he added before leaving.
The few following nights unfolded the same, with you sneaking out of your house and roaming around the woods with your demon boyfriend. Well, you labelled him like that but the truth was that you never asked him what you two were. He had called you his lover, but only once, and never since. The question you wanted to ask moved like a whirligig and all the things you did together only added more speed to its spin.
You braided flower crowns with him in the middle of the night and placed them on each other’s head. You stargazed by the lake’s shore and told him all the stories you could remember from when you were a child. Little by little, Akaza re-experienced things he had long lost sight of. The smile you wore when your eyes fell on him, the joyful exclamation whenever you found a peculiar flower, the childish giggles when your feet touched the cold lake water, they all almost jump-started his heart.
He was sure he was lying to himself by believing your escapades meant something. He was afraid it was all a curse or a charm cast upon him by some other demon or by a witch or even by Muzan himself as a punishment for betraying his own kind and fraternising with a human. He spent every second admiring you, listening to you, hoping it was not the last one, hoping he wouldn’t blink at one point and it would all turn to blood and suffering.
“Akaza?”
Your voice pulled him out of a trance he wasn’t aware he fell into.
“Yes?”
“Do you like me?”
He felt repulsed by humans. He hated them, their joyful breathing and the colour of their skin. He despised how selflessly they lived their lives and how little price they put on strength and integrity. He could not stand their greed, their cowardness, their backstabbing. And he couldn’t forgive any of them for hurting the weaker ones. But you were like no other human. You were perfect and you were his – even if that was just a dream.
“Maybe you don’t understand the question…” you added, “so I should explain.”
If he had still had a beating heart, it would’ve stopped the moment your hand touched his on the grass. You leaned to the side and touched the whole length of his muscular arm with your body, breast squished against his upper arm and cheek resting on his shoulder.
“Being with you makes me smile. I feel safe and wanted, accepted as I am and free to do whatever I wish when I’m out here with you. I worry about you as long as the Sun is up and I feel butterflies in my stomach when it sets because I know you will come.”
You brushed your cheek on his shoulder and traced the straight dark-blue line on his arm with your pointer finger.
“When you hold my hand I can barely breathe and when you grab me by the waist I catch on fire. I like you, Akaza. Do you like me?”
There were many times when he had gazed at your body form. There was magic flowing through his veins but when you would straighten your back to reach a higher branch, or bend down to pick a pebble, Akaza could swear he felt hot blood speeding through his body. If there was anything that could bring life back into him, that was you.
Full of self-conflict and second thoughts, Akaza glided his hand behind you on the ground, so he could become less tall while sitting next to you. His lips brushed a few strands of your hair before he dared to place a kiss on the top of your head. As if that was the green line you needed, you tilted your head until you could see his face again. Although he smiled as usual, he couldn’t completely hide the desire in his web-textured eyes. Two of his fingers lifted your chin a bit higher for his lips to crash onto yours.
Goosebumps spread through your entire body when the things you most wanted but least expected happened. You held onto the sides of his haori and pulled him closer and closer until you felt his hand abandoning the grass in favour of your waist. The flimsy dress moved up when you straddled the boy. The contact of your lips remained unbroken as you shifted your bodies seeking for a more comfortable position. Akaza’s hands travelled from your waist to your thighs and then advanced underneath your clothing. He would’ve probably never done that as a human boy, but something from his demonic attitude offered him enough confidence to do so. You shivered under his touch and dug your nails in his shoulders. Being crushed to Akaza’s chest, having your breaths kissed away and feeling his body through the clothes erased every bit of decency and rationality you had.
“So you like me too,” you whispered, freeing your mouth.
As a more categorical answer, Akaza wrapped his arms around your waist better, reaching to hold onto his elbows, caging you completely. The position was arousing, especially for someone like you who had only imagined being in a similar situation up until then. However, none of the demon’s gestures or touches gave off any sexual intention. He kissed your lips again, indulging himself in a taste he’d never felt before, despite having drank human blood and eaten human flesh. This time, his instincts were guiding him towards a different type of tasting. It was only your lips’ effect on his that made them warm and you smiled when he trailed his mouth down your chin, to the column of your throat. Your fingers tangled in his pinkish hair when his mouth reached the crook of your neck, earning you a guttural moan from him.
The general momentum of his gestures mellowed you so much that you sat on him with your whole body, no longer having the power to stand on your knees. Naturally, he squeezed you, dug his fingers in your skin harmlessly and couldn’t help himself but push up against you.
It puzzled you that Akaza’s body reacted like a human one would, but the questions faded as quickly as they appeared when your lover’s mouth returned on yours. There was no doubt anymore that you both wanted each other. It was probably not going to work, it was probably dangerous and no normal human being would even think about doing such a thing with a demon, yet…
The flower crown on the boy’s head fell when you pushed him to lay down. His body was receptive to your touches; every tickle of your fingertips on his chest and torso made Akaza shiver. For the first time since he could remember, the demon allowed himself to shut his eyes when being in the presence of another person. He knew he was safe with you. He let you place kiss after kiss on his jaw, neck and chest, worrying not even for a second that you would harm him.
It all felt divine for Akaza. He had deemed himself unworthy of any happiness, yet the euphoria you offered him begged to differ. It felt equally amazing for you, to feel a man’s touch, a man whom you had feelings for, and to desire so desperately to give yourself to him. His hands wandered every joint of your limbs and every curve of your frame. He wanted you more than he should've, but before he could settle his breaths and gather words, you had untied his pants.
Never in 133 years of roaming Earth has he felt as good, regardless of what sensations he tried. Welcomed into the very essence of your being, Akaza sank as much as he could. Even if pleasant, the pain made you prompt your palms on his bare chest, a fact which didn't escape his attentive eyes.
"Does it hurt?"
Bottom lip caught between your teeth, you nodded briefly, digging your fingertips in his pectorals. In a swift movement, Akaza sat up and glued his forearms on your back, pulling you in a soft embrace.
"We don't have to move, we can stay like this."
But you wanted to move. You were down to bear any pain he could cause you as long as he loved you. You hugged his head and ground on him a little, getting used to the stretch.
The earlier selflessness came from his care for you, but only he himself knew the things he wanted to do to you. Seeing you so eager still, he couldn't stop from smiling next to your ear before commencing a trail of sloppy kisses on your neck and shoulders.
With the same hands he picked flowers for you, Akaza now gripped harshly at your asscheeks as he helped you bounce up and down on him. The sounds flowing from your tongue and into his ear, mind-numbing as they were, made his love and lust overflow.
Once he felt your thighs giving out, he figured the position would no longer be pleasant, so he switched it to you laying on the ground and him between your legs. You caressed his face with all ten fingers, contoured his tattoos and butterfly-touched his coloured eyelashes. Such an exquisite creature that human had turned into, and even now, ripped from all sense of material existence, that demon made love to you. His slow thrusts gave you the impression he was reaching every inch of your soul, his breaths adsorbed in your skin pores and his heart pumped blood through your veins.
"I love you, Akaza," you whispered as he leaned to kiss your lips.
"It's Hakuji. My human name was Hakuji," he whispered back, making your foreheads touch. "You're making me feel human again."
A tear rolled quickly down your cheek and infiltrated the soil, escaping Akaza's eye. If only that was possible…
Nights in a row ended – some even began – with craving each other: the presence, the loving look, the sweet words and the warmth of each other's bodies. But as no night is meant to be eternal, right before sunrise, you’d have to go back to the painful reality of being separated by nature. Even for Akaza, who lived decades in the dark, the waiting was unbearable. There were times when he swore himself he’d risk it all just to see you a second earlier. For you – all the same. The light hours seemed endless and your patience was running thinner with each passing day. However, you made use of all that time to fulfil your promise. You spoke of your daily activities to him all the time, yet you kept your research hidden, afraid of your boyfriend’s reaction.
Spending all day in the town’s library and requesting books the staff wasn’t even sure should be put at your disposal raised many people’s suspicions, one of them being none other than the elder. When he confronted you, of course, you denied any hidden intention and only expressed your pure curiosity regarding demons and how they existed. Everyone was afraid of the demons, the elder included, and a weak girl like you could never truly be suspected not to fear them, therefore he answered some of your questions, leaving much room for interpretation. Little did he know that someone eavesdropped your entire conversation.
“Why do you want so much to know how demons come to be?”
You heard a feminine voice from behind you as you were gathering your stuff to return home. You have seen that woman in the town now and then. She was beautiful, elegant and seemed forever young.
“Pardon my lack of manners, please, I was just so very intrigued by your conversation. You see, I am a doctor and my duty is to help… People of all kinds to live better lives. My name is Tamayo.”
“Demons, if they truly exist, fascinate me,” you began, “but I don’t see why you would be interested in this as a doctor.”
There was something in the woman’s aura that seemed familiar, but you couldn’t put your finger on it.
“Demons do exist, but their existence is miserable,” Tamayo admitted out in the open, leaving you completely dumbfounded.
“This is nonsense… how could th–...”
“I can sense demon scent all over you, child. Who is he? How do you want to help him?”
Again, the straightforwardness took you aback, and you rushed to grab everything and leave.
“I can help you. He wouldn’t be the first one,” the woman continued, catching your forearms.
“Who are you?”
The lump in your throat altered your voice, making it obvious for the woman that you were afraid, so she let go of you and stepped back.
“I, too, am a demon, but I felt so guilty for my nature that I tried finding a cure for it. A way to control it, even a way to turn back.”
From the first second you had met her, you knew she was not a normal human, but it all made much more sense now. The terror in your eyes faded, to be replaced by hope. Maybe that person could really help you and Akaza be together the way you wished to.
“Is there really a way to turn a demon back into a human?”
A solemn nod of Tamayo’s head made your chest feel warm, but it also brought the possibility of a high price requiring to be paid in order to defy nature and magic.
A few days later, with instructions deeply engraved in your mind and a viale in your pocket, you met Akaza at your usual spot. He noticed the slight distress you were trying so desperately to hide, but he paid not much mind to it. Surely something not of your liking happened during the day – maybe another pretender to your hand in marriage – and surely you would talk about it later.
Even with his hands on you, even with his lips caressing your skin, even after being whispered caring words to, you remained tense. He couldn’t contain his worry any longer, so he abandoned the pretence.
“You’ve grown disgusted with me, haven’t you?”
The question hit you like a punch in your guts. You frowned at once and cupped his cheeks desperate to erase that thought from his mind.
“How could I ever?! I love you! Why would you say that?”
“You’ve barely paid attention to me tonight. Barely responded to any of my words or touches. Do you want me to stop visiting you? Are you afraid of me?”
It hurt him to say those things, to ask those questions. It made him feel as the dangerous being he was, unworthy of love and happiness. He had envisioned his life would go on like that until the day you could no longer breathe; with him basking in your presence, in the joy he seemed to bring you. After a while, Akaza even forgot his early on thought that he might be living a mirage and it might end as soon as he lowers his guard.
“I want you to stop visiting me because…”
There it was, his non-beating heart broke then and there. He squeezed your hand that he was still holding and a surreal image, a not-yet-happened memory appeared in front of his eyes, with you walking away forever.
“...because I want you to live with me.”
“Is this some sort of sick joke you’re playing on me? You know I can’t stay in the Sun, and you know I need to feed on humans. How could I possibly live with you? Why would you say this?”
“Would you turn back into a human for me, Hakuji?”
The panic and sadness in the demon’s eyes were enough of a sign that you shouldn’t stall it any longer. Truth had to go out hard and fast. You pulled the little bottle from your pocket and showed it to him in the moonlight.
“I don’t know if she’s a friend of yours or not, but a so-called Lady Tamayo helped me create this serum. It’s supposed to turn you back into a human if I inject it to you and then…”
The boy stared at the viale filled with blood for a few moments and then looked at you. He searched for your hand through the grass and then pressed his forehead against yours.
“Lady Tamayo is insane. That thing won’t turn me back into a human. That thing is impossible.”
Anger mixed with sadness and bubbled in your stomach. “She said she’s done it before.”
He shook his head lightly, but didn’t add anything else. He had heard from other demons about Tamayo, the traitor, and as much as he wanted now to believe he could have a chance at a new life with you, Akaza couldn’t trust the content of the bottle.
“What if it doesn’t work? How do we even know it works?” He asked, reconsidering his earlier reaction.
You wiped away the tears caused by his total rejection and looking away from him, you answered with the thing he wished the most not to hear.
“You have to be seriously injured after… so your body would spread the substance faster as it tries to regenerate… You would have to stay in the Sun.”
That night felt like it lasted longer than any other before it. The tension between the two of you pinned you to the ground, making you unable to go on your routine walk. There was no hooting owl, no wind, no frog singing by the lake. It all seemed like a theatre scene where all characters are frozen, awaiting for the main ones to perform the final act.
You couldn’t speak. Akaza couldn’t either.
You both wished to forget the earlier moments and just succumb in each other’s embrace, as usual, but it felt forbidden.
You believed you changed the way you looked in his eyes. Asking him to change himself, to risk all that he was for your sake, for being with you, felt like the worst thing you could ask of the man you loved. But it was for the love you nurtured for him that you had tried to find a cure in the first place. You wanted to give him his life back, to give him a shot at happiness, to give him back what had been stolen from him.
He was almost sure he had gone too far. Why did he believe, even for a second, that he could give you what you wished for? Him, a neither dead, nor alive being, cursed by evil, sentenced to hide in the dark and prey on a similar species in order to survive. Akaza clenched his fists thinking that he stole too much time from you. He had made you fall in love with him, had given you expectations, had made you his unrighteously and now… of course you wanted more. But how could he give you that? Wouldn’t you hurt more if he had died? Yet again, was it worth it to continue living if even after finding his lover again, in another life, he could not be truly happy? Maybe his last decision was to accept becoming a demon. Maybe he was destined to outlive every reincarnation of his lover and be forever alone, dead and cold inside. Maybe his curse was that he caused pain to his lover no matter in what form they were.
“I love you. Always and forever. And if we ever meet again, I hope we can have a chance together,” Akaza finally talked to you.
Tears rolled down his cheeks when he faced you, but he was smiling.
“I will do it. For you, I will do everything. At least, if I die, you’ll forget me, eventually, and find happiness among your kind.”
You jumped to your knees and hugged his head to your chest. Cheeks burning from tears and mouth dry, you squeezed him as hard as you could, feeling your chest crack with every deep breath you took.
“You will not die. I believe in you, I believe in us!”
Nothing happened after the manufactured blood entered Akaza’s system. He didn’t feel any different, so a tint of anxiety creeped its way into your mind. There were only a few hours left of the night, which could mean only a few hours left of your shared love. That concern made it somehow natural to make love, maybe for one last time. It was soft and slower than usual, as if you tried to lengthen the moment, to stretch the time to impossible extent, but all things have an end, be them good or bad.
His head rested under your chin, arms wrapped fully around your body and you outlined his tattoos again, as you both laid on the ground, waiting for the Sun to shine. Although you decided to stay awake, ready to help him hide from the Sun in case the cure didn’t work, the orgasm, the worry and the exhaustion took their toll on you and you fell prey to sleep.
When the morning breeze took the guarding shade of the trees’ leaves, you opened your eyes in horror. Realising you had failed to stay awake, you started crying, already thinking that you lost Akaza forever and it was only your fault. It took you a few seconds of terror to realise that you were however still embracing a body.
The dark fluffy hair that appeared in your sight was strange. You looked at the body below it and did not recognise it. There were no tattoos, the muscles were a bit smaller, even the smell of the skin was different. And the skin was warm. Tears poured heavily from your eyes when you realised Akaza’s body wasn’t burning in the sun. But he wasn’t moving. You raked your hands through his hair, sat up, rested on your elbow to look at him, and he still had no reaction. The serum worked but what if he had been a demon for too long and his human body couldn’t handle the shift?
You cried for a few moments more, looking at how beautiful he was as a human, almost recognising him from a past life. With a heavy heart you pulled yourself from your lover’s embrace, not sure what you were supposed to do now. However, you couldn’t part from him completely, not yet, at least. As you leaned to kiss his lips goodbye, you felt a faint but steady and warm breath tickling your face.
“Hakuji!” You shouted, jumping to your knees and touching his body more vigorously.
The sound of your voice scared him. Poor boy jumped from his sleep and his first reaction was to hide from the light. You turned your body into a shield above him, as much as you could, fearing that maybe the Sun was still harming him somehow, but when you heard him laugh and let out a few heavy breaths, you retook your original spot.
“Hakuji?” You called again, afraid that maybe his memory got erased.
When he lifted his face, pure happiness was painted all across it. Hakuji was crying and smiling altogether, with his human hands lifted in the air, his human heart beating hard against his human rib cage and his human lungs getting filled with oxygen. He reached and hugged you to his chest, stood up to his feet and lifted you with him. You started laughing when he spinned you in the air, still strong enough to hold you as if you were a feather, and when he finally let you touch the ground, your lover spoke.
“It worked. You saved me…”
You couldn’t decide what words to blurt out first, for: “I love you”? “You’re welcome”? “I’d do it again”? “Thank you for believing in me”? You wanted to say them all at once, so you said none; just laughed and cried, hurrying to kiss your lover before taking him home.

part 2, (pt 1 here)
All nine of the hashira were lined up and bowing to there master. "i pray for you good health and good fortune Oyakata-sama. sorry for being late" Gyomei said.
he was indeed late, because a little someone wouldnt let go of him. it took three kakushi's to distract the small child while he left for his meating.
"e-excuse me!" the hashira turned there heads to see a small child bowing at them. "s-sorry for i-intrep- inter- interupting! but uh, i need to see Gyo-chan" the hashira were far beyond confused.
"shh! come on we have to go" one of the kakushi tried to usher the child away.
"it is ok" Ubuyashiki stopped them. "what is it that you need child" the hashira turned back to their master and bowed as the child ran up to him and put something infront of him.
"s-sorry, but Gyo-chan, forgot his necklace" 'thats right' Gyomei had been in such a rush that he forgot his prayer beeds.
Ubuyashiki chuckled, "hmm, and who is this Gyo-chan" he asked
"oh! Gyo-chan is Gyomei! can I give this to him?" they pointed to Gyomei.
"of course" Ubuyashiki gave them a warm smile. "your really pretty" they blurted out which made him give a light chuckle.
the small child ran to Gyomei right before they tripped. "careful" they opened their eyes to see "Gyo-chan! here you you" she handed him his beeds and went back to the Kakushi.
"come on. they're busy" the small child said as it dragged the surprised kakushi away.
'oh my god they were sooo CUTE!' Mitsuri after that small encounter went over to see her almost all the time, as she couldn't stop bugging Gyomei about bringing them back.

Shadow and Stone

"please...someone help me"
"hold on!"
that was the day I met him. Sanemi Shinazugawa, the wind pillar, had saved me from what he called a 'demon'. I was sixteen at the time and no longer had anywhere to go. so.. I followed him home.
"will you stop following me!" he yelled as I fell from a tree.
"how'd you know I was there?" I got up and dusted myself off as he remained quiet and continued to walk. "hmm? hey wait! I got some questions for you"
I ran up to him as he remained silent and slightly sped up. "how'd you do that cool swooshy thing?" I said as i waved my hands around.
"it's not just some swooshy thing! its called wind breathing now fuck off!" 'jeez what a temper'
"c'mon, don't be like that" I said clearly making him more pissed off than he already was.
"will you just fuck off! I dont want your praises or whatever so get lost!" ... is he for real
"psh, I’m not here to praise you. I want you to teach. me" 'god, this guy honestly though I was gonna praise him'
"hah! yeah right! o bother somebody else"
I didn't. I actually continued to follow him and watch him train, he made the rude obnoxious comment every now and then but he never made a move to et rid of me.
after about a year, he actually started to teach me about demons and slayers, breathing techniques and total concentration breathing and final selection. I could never properly master wind breathing that's when I met this beautiful lady called Mitsuri Kanroji.
"so you saying that I could potentially develop my own breathing technique"
"yeah! you can! once you learn one breathing technique, you can make your own based off that one!" she said as she stuffed her moth full of food.
finally, after another year I went to final selection and absolutely aced it! soon enough I made my way up to one of the top tiers in the demon slayer corpse!
all I had to do was defeat an uppermoon or a lowermoon and I could finally become a hashira.
But I never wanted to become a hashira like this.
“RENGOKU!” We had defeated a lowermoon yet standing in our way was uppermoon 3.
it all happened so fast one minute he was there with his hand straight through Rengoku the next tanjiro was slicing his arm off.
“YOU COWARD! YOU THINK YOUVE WON! BUT DEMON SLAYERS ARE ALWAYS FIGHTING IN THE NIGHT WHERE YOU HAVE THE UPPER HAND! YOU COWARD! YOU HAVENT WON! RENGOKU WON THIS BATTLE! AHHHHHHH” Tanjiro shouted insults to him as he ran away like the coward he was.
“y/n” I walked over to him. “I really do hope you become a hashira. You have clearly proven yourself today that you are worthy”
‘I’m really not though’
“everyone, I’d like you to meat the Shadow Hashira” Oyakata-sama always spoke in such a soothing way. But it didn’t stop me from thinking that I didn’t belong here
“What a poor soul” a man said as he rubbed his hands together. “I’ll pray for you”
“Thank you” and with that the annual hashira meeting began
“y/n. Gyomei I’d like you to stay for a moment” Oyakata-sama said as everyone else left.
“There is reason to believe that the lowermoons have been dismantled and that only the upper moons remain” he began and a kusagai crow flew into the room.
“but thanks to my messenger there is reason to believe that a lower moon has been hiding out near (your old village)”
“what! Sorry.” I quickly sat back down as thoughts raced through my mind.
there maybe no one left for me at my home, but still the towns folk were very nice to me.
“yes it is sad indeed, so I have decided to send you two. Hopefully this will help you get aquatinted with your fellow hashira y/n”
and with that we set off on our journey. “We’re catching a train?” I asked
“yes, if you want we can find another form of transport” I will admit I’d hoped that I never had to go on a train again, but I guess I was wrong. “no it’s ok. I’ll manage” almost no words were exchanged on our voyage. The trip took at least 4 hours and it was already getting late. I tried so hard to not fall asleep, in fear of being trapped in a dream once again.
“it’s ok” I flinched at the sudden noise. “You can sleep, I will make sure nothing hurts you, or these passengers”
I’ve only known this guy for a few hours yet I trust him with my life.
“thank you” and soon enough I fell into a peaceful slumber with his large happi draped over my shoulders

'no, no, no, no, no, please! no!'
"dont hurt me" a chid sat behind some crates as they waited oh so much for it to just go away.
'its so loud... please.. GO AWAY!" it screamed and it was gone.
"please someone help" ....
"its ok now child. you are safe"
the child looked up to see who her saviour was, he was really tall and had a green happi draped over his shoulders.
"woah" the child continued to stare in amazement at how big and strong the man looked, when all of a sudden he bean to cry.
"bwah, n-no! sorry mister! please don't cry!" it yelled as they hugged his legs as they also bean to cry.
he put a hand on her head, and gave her a small smile "what's your name little one?" they stared up at him before turning to look over at her town.
"y/n... " a frown fell upon her face as she realized what had actually happened. "what your name".
"you can call me Gyomei. come now, let us pray for the people that were lost"
"Gyo-kun... what now" Gyomei had no idea what to do with the child now, the child's whole town had been demolished with them being the only survivor.
"such a sad thing indeed..." he felt pitiful for the child, and despite his past he still decided to welcome them into his life.
"come on, you can stay with me"

The Day I Almost Lost You
Sanemi x Wife reader angst
𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤: : demons, violence, swearing, manga spoilers
ℝ𝕖𝕢𝕦𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕕: No
I lay there in bed replaying the thoughts of what had happened last night. My husband the wind Pillar for the demon slayer corpse, also known as Sanemi Shinizugawa, was badly hurt in a fight against upper moon 1.
he was leaving to go patrol when he found something on the ground. That's when there was a loud booming noise. I was so scared for him.
"EMERGENCY SUMMONS!! EMERGENCY SUMMONS!! AN ATTACK ON UBUYASHIKI MANSION! AN ATTACK ON UBUYASHIKI MANSION!!"
"n-no" it cant be.
"STAY HERE!!" Sanemi ran towards the mansion as I prayed to the budahs for his good fortune.
"please no, please don't take him away from me" I prayed over and over again until all of a sudden there was a loud boom.
"no" it came out barely a whisper from my lips. I wanted so badly to run to him, but i knew better than to run out into his world of demons.
"SANEMI!" I ran to get to the butterfly mansion, I didn't care that it was 6 in the morning, I needed to make sure he was ok.
"Shinazuawa-san, n-no running in the halls please" it was Kanao. she's been speaking a lot more lately, that's a good sign.
"s-sorry, but do you know where Sanemi is" she pointed down the hall. "second door on your right".
when I got here I expected to find Sanemi sleeping just like all the other patients, instead I found him getting up and trying to walk to goodness knows where.
"Sanemi! w-what are you doing!" I ran over to his side. "Sanemi you need to rest" he didn't listen but instead he grabbed my hand and forced me out of the way, making me squeal from the sudden rough movement.
"out of my way" 'what?' Sanemi was never like this with you, maybe when you first met him, but slowly he opened up to me, he's normally really sweet and gentle.
"n-no' I was scared, I hadn't seen this side of him in a long time. "you need to rest, whatever your trying to do it can wait" I said this time with a bit more confidence, but his grip only got tighter.
"This can't wait! I need to get to him!" he yelled as I cowered in fear. "so get out of my fucking way!" I let go as he stomped off.
"sorry y/n-san, he's just a bit sad a the moment" I whipped my tears away and turned towards who was talking.
"Gyuu. sorry did we wake you?" he stared at me with a small smile.
"no, I was talking to him earlier, he was telling me what happened with Uppermoon 1" 'what' he fought an uppermoon.
"w-what happened" I asked scared to find out what really happened.
"there were 3 others with him. Himajima, Muichiro and...Genya" he paused. "y/n... he was the only one that made it out alive in that battle"
"no"
"I need to find Sanemi". i cant believe that happened to him. when he was a child he watched his whole family get murdered by his mother, all of them except one, Genya. Genya had blamed him for their mothers death, yes he killed her but she was a demon.
Sanemi was so excited to find his brother, always looking for him. but that he joined the demon slayer corpse and he neglected his brother. knowing that he didnt make up with his brother before he died, i knew exactly where sanemi would be.
"genya's grave" although genya hadn't yet been burried Sanemi still went to where he would be.
"..." sanemi sat there un moving. 'just give him a minute.. he needs a bit of time'
after 2 hours the sun was finally at its highest peek. "he uhh, he looked so sad, when he left" sanemi spoke, it was clear that he'd been crying just by the sound of his voice.
"sanemi" I knelt down to his side and hugged him as he cried some more.
it was hard, just hearing him cry made me want to cry, he's never been so vulnerable with me before.
"hey, its ok, shhh" i rocked him back and forth for twenty minutes before he finally calmed down.
"sorry for being harsh earlier" he said getting up
"its ok just wish you would've talked to me"
"I will, thank you"
