Can God trust you?

“of all my house, he is the one I trust. I speak to him face to face, clearly and not in riddles! He sees the Lord as he is.” – Numbers 12: 7-8

For God to say “I trust you” is one of the greatest compliments a human being can receive. -John Bevere

Ask your self these questions? Does God trust me? Am I a women/man of my word? Can He trust me to do what He has asked of me? I don’t know about yall, but I want God to say that He trust me!

What builds trust with God?

Unconditional obedience- always doing what’s asked

Absolute integrity- always keeping your word

Unwavering priority- always putting His desires first

Knowing His heart- always choosing God’s will when making decisions

Where has God planted you

…maybe you’re there for a reason

Everything the world offers, is a bootleg version of what God offers

Think about it. You’re getting hoodwinked, scammed, and bamboozled when ever you receive the things or the pleasures of this world! Some of you are even paying a high price for something that has NO VALUE, and that high price is your life. The things of this world cannot satisfy, fill up, or make you whole the way God can! All it can do is give you temporary pleasure and satisfaction. Why pay and waist your time for the false version when you can have the real thing from the One who created it! God offers high value, high quality, the purest of the pure for FREE and all you have to do is receive it. When you pay high value for something, you want it be real, 100% authentic, right? When you come to the realization that you have paid a high price for a dupe, for something this world gave you, how embarrassing that will be. How angry you would be with the one who sold it to you. But there is a seller, a provider who GIVES the real thing, that satisfies, that fills up, that makes you whole for FREE and all you have to do is receive it. How awesome is that! Don’t you want the real thing!?! Too often we search for fulfillment in places that cannot provide or give it to us, when all along we should have been looking to God.

Dear God, today may You be glorified in all that I do. Please help me continue to get ready for the life I am praying for. May I walk in faith and patience because I need both to see Your promises come to pass in my life. Where I am today is not the end of my story. The best is yet to come. In Jesus Name, amen. 🙏

This quote reminds me of Romans 12:2

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will"

To be just like the world (to conform to the world), when the Lord tells us to be set apart, is to be cowardice!

Dont turn your back on Jesus

“...There shall come a day when the man that was ashamed of Christ will himself be ashamed: he will wonder where he can hide his guilty head. Look at him! There he is! The traitor who denied his Lord! The Christ was spat upon and nailed to the cross, and this man was afraid to own him. To win the smile of a silly maid, to escape the jest of a coarse fellow, to win a few pieces of silver, to stand respectable among his fellow-men, he turned his back upon his Redeemer and sold his Lord; and now what can be said for him? Who can excuse him? The angels shun him as a man who was ashamed of the Lord of glory. He is clothed with shame and everlasting contempt. Even the lost in hell get away from him, for many of them were more honest than he. Is there such a man as this before me? I summon him in the name of the living God to answer for his cowardice! Let him come forth and own his crime, and humbly seek forgiveness at the hands of the gracious Savior.”

Healing from the past

Have you ever just sat and started thinking about your past traumas, or any painful situation you went through and then all of a sudden all these emotions started pouring out. You think, "this happened years ago, why is this still affecting me?" I have reason to believe, that God brings this pain to the surface so that He can show us that we are still holding on to it and we need to let it go. He wants His peace to replace where our hurt resides. He needs us to let go and make space in our hearts for His peace to flourish inside of us...

So my friend, explore your past hurts, feel all those emotions, let them come through to the surface so that God can replace it with His perfect peace. Think of the process as like refining gold. Gold must be heated up under intense fire so that the impurities can come to the top, and then the craftsman scrapes the impurities from the top, and is then left with pure gold. Your past pains are the impurities, God is the craftsman, you are the pure gold. Let go, let God.

The chapter ends with

20 If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar; for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. 22 This is the commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

If you call yourself a servant and lover of the Most High, then hate towards another should not reside in you. Does it? Get rid of it!

Eyes like God

Fall in love with the idea of embracing every physical part of you because that is how God created you. Learn to love everything that is attached to you simply because God loves everything about you. Don’t be ashamed of any physical part of you because God isn’t. Take care of you and your body; love your body because God blessed you this way and so therefor you are a blessing. You have value because God sees value in you! Ask God to give you eyes that see like Him, and you will start to see just how beautiful you are.

REST IS FOUND IN JESUS ALONE! Not in social media, not in a good movie, not in your boyfriend or girlfriend, and definitely not in a bottle. In HIM alone, HE will give you rest.
