HIS PAST:

throughout his lifetime, lilia had very few lovers. they would come, and they would go. but it's not like he would dwell on it for too long. he was a general. he had other things to prioritize; especially after having to take malleus under his wing and as well as silver.

he definitely started to care less about love on his side, that's for sure. although, he would find it amusing to see other faes and humans go through it. he would have never thought that after years, he would fall in love with a human.

yeah, his past self definitely went feral if he was told he would fall in love with a mere mortal..

HOW HE WOULD TEST THE WATERS:

he will keep his feelings bottled up, but could continue teasing you about so and so. he could jokingly say he loves you and see how you would react but immediately say it was in a mutual way if he saw a sign of discomfort or if your face dropped. and if it did, his heart would start hurting and feel his stomach dropping but play it all smooth and cool.

WHAT DOES HE DO?

you're someone he can not have. you're someone he can't reach. you're someone he deeply cherishes, but you're someone that malleus loves, and he's sure you love him too. so he continues to stay and admire from afar. he's not that type to interfere for his own benefit.

he won't confess the feelings he holds deeply for you, while it might make his shoulders less heavy.. he doesn't think he'll be able to look into his eyes without feeling guilt.

with his magic slowly starting to fade away he only prays that his feelings will too.

DILUC RAGNIVINDR - you waited in your shared bedroom with your lover, casting a few glances to the clock on the other side of the room 11:53 pm. he should be either finishing up or on his way back from protecting the outside mondstadt's walls.. or he got angry and venting his frustration out on some abyss mages and hilichurls if something happened during the day at the tavern. most likely not. he would've sent you a letter no matter how busy he was. speaking of letters, you two wrote each other more letters than usual this week since both of you were too busy. you were asleep first, and he would leave the house first. so, today you wanted at least a few minutes with him before you guys sleep. hearing your bedroom door open, you see him pushing his front hair back while entering. you stand up and give him a soft smile when your eyes lock with his slowly widening. "my love? why are you still awake?" he asked. "waiting for you, of course, 'cause I've been oh so very lonely."

"I see.. sorry."

you push the door closed while walking behind him taking off his jacket for him, and putting it on a hanger.

"psh, don't be sorry now. go change, don't make me wait too long. I might fall asleep on you."

he surprisingly walked faster to your shared bathroom to change, causing you to stiffle a laughter. you made your way to your side of the bed, slipping under the covers. he came out as fast as he came in from the bathroom. he quickly slipped into the bed and laid on his side beside you. you move your hand going right behind his head and slowly pull his hair tie off. he was tired, but the slow dim light of the candle reflected off the side of his face. he was tired but calm. moving your hand back, you slowly moved both of your hands to his loose white button shirt to unclapse it, making sure to go slow. after all of them were unbuttoned, you slowly made your way closer to his body. giving him small and light kisses starting from his collarbone, shoulders, chest, and stomach where all of them had big, and small scars scattered across his body.some of the scars had a little more kisses than others while some were lighter than the others. half way, his body seemed to relax probably fast alseep.after kissing all the ones that were currently visible to the eye you made your way back to face him, this time peppering his face with kisses causing his face to scrunch up a bit. cute. you wrap your arms around his waist and hide your face into his neck,

CHILDE - "sorry about this darling and ouch." he winces as you wrap the bandage around his torso from behind, slightly pulling it harder as a warning. you were at bubu pharmacy talking to parents and checking up with their kids. all was peaceful until he came barging in all bloody. calmly pushing the patients that were already done with their check ups out, shouting the next appointment would be, you pull childe's arm and seating him beside your desk.

"where, what, why, and how did this happen to you?!" you grit pacing around your office cabinets looking for the correct supplies.

"I got a little carried away at lingju pass with some abyss mages. I was finished with some of you know, business I had to attend to for the fatui, and I was strolling around. and you should've seen me darling, I even got a headshot! I could've finished them off if it weren't for their unnecessary shield. their shield was quite hard to remove." at this point, he was flexing his muscles to show off to you.

"stop moving. if you don't, it'll only be bothersome once you go back on the field with it wrapped."

he puts his hand on his chest, looking at you with sad eyes through his lashes "you pain me, darling."

"I pain you? I wouldn't pain you if you just listened to me."

he turns his head to face you,his body still facing the front. "hmph! well, I do say.. I've been a good patient, right? where's my reward? hm? hmm??" there wasn't light in his eyes, but they sparkled so much from his expectations it could put a night sky full of stars to shame. you place your hands firm on his shoulders, ducking your head. your face a few inches away from his back, you kiss his current open wound that was covered. pulling your lips away, your breath fanning his skin, you could see the goosebumps starting to form. you slowly kiss the other scars he already had from before.

"there, feel any better?" you smile.

childe stood up from his chair, a little quickly almost knocking the stool over if it weren't for you catching it on time. "o-oh.. uhm. yeah. mhm. yes, great. amazing, actually." the smile on your face slowly turned into sly grin as you see his ears burning red.

DILUC RAGNIVINDR— you didn't mean to fall for him. you didn't mean to look at him like he was the whole world. you didn't know why you started liking him. you've been friends for almost a year now, but recently, you started seeing the small and big things diluc does. cares for his brother, mondstadt, and its people. the way he switches shifts with charles when he has the time to have a few moments to bond with kaeya, when his gaze softens looking at the lively tavern even when it's tiring when he thinks no one is looking, and the way he takes parts of his nights to fight and fend off the monsters that dare to trespass its walls.

your feelings didn't go unnoticed by a certain group of dark blue, maroon-ish, and dual-colored-haired group. in the end, you did tell them you did hold feelings for diluc, and they encouraged you to confess. they mentioned how the way he looked at you was different from the way he looks at others, but a good difference. and you hated the way your stomach did flips. because you knew better. he was healing but not yet healed. he wasn't ready for love in his life yet or at all.

he needed you. he wanted you. he cared for you. he needed a friend. he wanted you there as a friend. he cared for you as a friend. while you did everything as a friend, you wanted it to be something other than that. but you couldn't. your relationship was just friends. nothing more, nothing less.

AL HAITHAM— he was well known in the Akademiya while you were on the other.. and besides, you guys weren't even friends since you guys only talked only a few times. would you two consider yourselves acquaintances? he was stoic, cool, smart, and very good-looking. if it was allowed in the Akademiya, he would have multiple gifts and love letters overflowing in his office. you were one of the smartest in the Akademiya but if you were next to him you couldn't compare. there are people you could see him with, like nilou, for example, but looking back on it, she probably only sees him as a close friend.

you despised how you acted around him. you were stuttering, fumbling, and being plain stupid. there was a time when you wanted him to look over some documents that you had, and when you were walking toward him, you tripped over an uneven tile. stupid stupid stupid. but instead of looking down on you like you expected him to, he chuckled. ah. was he laughing at you? or what happened? or both? he simply picked up the fallen papers and held out a hand for you.

"don't worry about the documents being put off order. I can handle it. but maybe you should check up on your knees if it hurts."

you thanked him and left his office. the next day, when you were picking the finished documents up, you found the uneven tile nowhere to be seen.

"I asked for the tile to be fixed after you left so it won't happen again."

gods... you hate the way he makes you feel.

DAINSLEIF— you happened to meet him while you made a quick break in one of liyue's restaurants. you were a seat behind him, and you could hear his stomach silently grumbling. when the bill came for his meal, you overheard him, saying he only had 500 mora. innocently barging into the conversation with him and the waiter, you offered to pay for all of it. it was nothing really, 1000 mora off of your bank was basically taking a single strand of wheat off a haystack

a few weeks passed, and you found yourself falling for him. it might be the stretch to like someone you met for almost a month, but still. he was reserved, quiet, and a bit dull looking. but he had his moments of being kind. all you knew from what he told you was he was looking for someone dear to him, and that made your heart pang in your chest. what made it worse for you was not knowing if that someone who was dear to him, a lover, or a friend. but you knew better to pester him about them because he simply left it there.

he explained he couldn't stay here, as he needed to continue his journey. and as you bid him farewell, you regret not telling him your feelings for him. but you decide to keep your feelings buried deep within. so maybe the next time you see him, you can joke around with him about how you had a crush on him before with nothing to hide.

scaramouche's castle was dark dimmed with a warm light from the candles scattered in the halls. but why did it seem so.. off..?

he went out to run some errands, leaving you behind where you would be much safer under his roof. but this smell..

something was burning.

he trusts that you would not be clumsy enough to knock a candle or especially burn something in the kitchen. you were an excellent cook. you wouldn't make such a mistake like that. but it didn't help the sinking feeling in his stomach that was slowly swallowing him up.

his pace going faster, he rushes in opening the door with such force making the door almost fly off its hinges. eyes darting the main hall as everything is thrashed.

the burning smell was coming closer, as his fear creeped up on him as he passed the kitchen.

he sees the ballroom door busted open, as if someone was pushing through.

he hasitly made his way inside and saw his curtains burning and a figure sitting down against the wall it alomst seems as if you were in pain.

as he walks closer to the figure, he quickly makes a gust of wind silencing the fire.

he sees you as you tilt your head to his voice. his eyes widening as he sees blood dripping out of your mouth.

ah.. the fire was too strong he couldn't smell it.
