"Midas thought about mocking him for owning someone's portrait. It should have been laughable for someone so cold and bitter to even think of doing such a thing.
Instead, Midas felt lost."
" I considered killing him," Rafal admitted softly. Surprisingly. "I'm no stranger to killing, after all."
"So why didn't you?" Midas asked.
"It was a waste of my time. Something rather pointless. She never gave any indication that she wanted me or any inclination to follow me into this life. It's why I left. It was useless to try to produce a result she didn't say she wanted."

A One Sided Tale
So much riot, so much care,
One sleeps so sweet while the other weeps,
A lot of beautiful devils to be spared,
Disgusting, filthy angels needed to be seek.
Fearfulness was told, bravery is bold,
There's no balance inside all, so pure and dull,
Hearts froze cold, their brains started to mold,
Knowledge burns as it touched their souls.
Name a new crown with a new addiction,
It found its way into veins and behavior,
Their body relents and falls into submission,
It was hoping to puppeteer their brain forever.
Can someone remind me to finish this poem 💔

Why are humanities and arts not as important as STEM? Wasn't our social structure build by the humanities? Oh wait. That's the problem. It's the humanities majors.
I think it's not fair how the world is prioritizing advanced technological development other than society with how crazy the world is right now.
It feels like the government is limiting people who are taking majors in humanities. It'll be harder for people to get jobs and make money. The government is the one who set the system that way, so they made it harder for them. On purpose. That means the corrupted system they've built will stay the same. it's as if they're afraid of people having humanity.
There are brilliant people in humanities major across the world. They're just not given that same opportunity. STEM is wonderful. It is necessary. But it'll become humanity's biggest regret without humanities itself. Take a look at the world now.
Like AI. They will say it's great for human convenience. Some will say it's terrible for the environment. If we continue to make discovery without thinking through its impact on society AND nature, it'll fall down.
STEM discovery will create benefits. But humanities will find its cons. Both are great for humanity's civilization and development. If we do not have both of these fields cooperate, then what will become our future? Soulless, dried of passion?

Based on a poem I wrote in elementary
—————————————————————
My mind is something I can't decipher,
If there's anything to bind with reality,
It is my ideas filled with insanity.
I feel too much, I repress my silence,
I've hoped to be taken away,
To a land so far, far away.
Where the wind breeze could do my hair,
Maybe nature could sing my song.
Where living my years would feel so fair,
Comfort where it would be so long.
I'll take as much because who would care?
An animal so bold yet so frail,
At a land so far, far away.
I wanted to make this longer but my mind has been foggy lately. I think I've spent too much doing nothing these past few days. I'm exhausted 🫩

She'll do anything but flee like the birds
Maybe she'd have to keep what she heard
And it's enough
That's what she'd said
She believed all the lies she made up in her head
She won't see
Or hear a reason
Maybe she will when she's out of breath
Time won't ever know mercy
She owed the world impossibilities

As you can tell I cry about twins a lot (Except for the fourth picture. It's from a movie called The Electric State. Go watch it for context!)

🌍✨ A Voice from Gaza: Fighting for Hope ❤️‍🩹
Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 may seem small, but for us, it’s a little relief, a moment of comfort, and a reminder that kindness still exists. ❤️
Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.

Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️

Dandelions and Deadweights
I wish I could fly high enough to the sky
But I'm so useless that I drift to the ground
And I laugh as my way to cry
Not human enough to make a river
Not musical enough to produce a sound
Inevitably, I think it's merely their pity
I can't ever believe they are truly pleased with me
And sometimes, I feel like begging and chasing
And maybe it's my pride, or maybe it's simple common sense
But I just linger and I don't give up a cent
Even if I yell, will they even hear the echo?
Or will it be lost, lost with the noise of those who are simply better
All I'm good for
Is just to remind others there's always worse
And that to count their blessings
To make them laugh at anything but their own misfortunes
"at least I'm not as bad as THAT"
Broken poetry, broken form
Deformed deformed deformed
Cursed, forgotten, secondhand and garbage

Gaza Does Not Die… But We Are Bleeding ✊
✅ Verified by @gazavetters {520} ✅✅
Shared by @90-ghost
I am Musab Ahmed. I once had a home, I once had a life… but now, everything I knew is nothing but rubble. My house was completely destroyed by the relentless bombing that took away even our memories.
Tumblr media
My body did not escape this war—I was injured in my shoulder, underwent surgery, but I still need another operation to regain my full mobility. Yet, the greatest pain is not mine… it’s the pain of my daughter Lama, whose little hand could not withstand the bombing. She was injured and had to have a metal plate implanted in her hand, and we are still struggling to get her the treatment she needs.
Tumblr media
All we ask for is a chance to live… A life that was stolen from us under the bombs and destruction. We need your support to continue our treatment and to try and rebuild what’s left of us.
Help us stay strong—Gaza is bleeding.
