Just wanted to go for a walk

Been trying to take a 15 minute walk every morning. Yesterday I was a bit behind schedule, still wanted to do my walk. Got myself dressed without incident and the whole time I'm saying 'keys' in my head - we have a security door on the building that has been broken for YEARS but was fixed recently.

I go to get my keys, remember I need my phone.

Grab my phone, go to get my keys - did I turn the Christmas lights off?

Check the Christmas lights, go to get my keys. Remember I need to fill my water bottle.

Fill my water bottle, get distracted by washing up.

Do washing up, remember trash needs to go out.

Empty the trash and put the bag next to the door.

Leave the house without keys.

Our trash goes in a shed outside the building, which also requires a key so I had to sit next to a trash bag outside for 45 minutes waiting for my stepdad to bring me the spare 🙃
