Minecraft is rolling out the massive Bedrock update for PlayStation 4 on December 10, and when it does, it’ll be bringing full cross-platform multiplayer along with it.The Bedrock edition of Minecraft is an overhaul of the entire game experience that was designed from the ground up with features like virtual reality, downloadable content sharing, and cross-platform multiplayer in mind to be fully supported and integrated on all compatible platforms. The Bedrock update has already been available for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for some time now, but with the update finally hitting PlayStation 4 this month, gamers across all three systems will be able to play online together seamlessly. Players on Windows 10, iOS, and Android will also be able to join in on the action and play together online.

Riot Games will pay out a huge $10 million proposed settlement collectively to every woman who has been employed by the company at any time over the last five years. The settlement is one of the largest in California history for a gender discrimination suit, says the plaintiff’s lawyer. The payout, which was first reported by the Los Angeles Times, marks a sweet moment of justice for women at Riot, who have been systematically disadvantaged working at the giant gaming company according to a 2018 Kotaku investigation. Our report described rampant sexism at Riot, manifesting in its hiring and promotion practices and “bro” office culture, which sometimes encouraged harassment and gender discrimination. The suit, filed November, 2018, also describes how women at the League of Legends publisher were paid less than men in the same or a similar position.

Disney has released a gorgeous new poster for the live-action remake of Mulan. The new adaptation of Mulan is directed by Niki Caro and stars Liu Yifei as the titular Chinese hero Mulan. The film also stars Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Jason Scott Lee, Gong Li, Yoson An, Tzi Ma, and Rosalind Chao.

Devil May Cry 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch, and in Special Edition form, no less. Despite its name, the game is a prequel to iconic the action series that's set a decade before the original Devil May Cry. It was released for Playstation 2 in 2005, a PC port dropped a year later, and has since arrived on PS4 and Xbox One. And now it's headed for Nintendo Switch next year.The Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition for Nintendo Switch drops into action on February 20, 2020 for $19.99 / £15.99, and it's bringing a whole bunch of extras with it. According to Capcom's official press release, the game will offer "the addition of Vergil as a playable character and the 9,999 floors of the 'Bloody Palace' survival mode." The Bloody Palace mode is a single-elimination tournament that pits you up against and variety of bosses, with each victory offering you the choice of three portals, some of which can jump you forward 100 floors.

Adidas, in collaboration with Lucasfilm, unveils the adidas x Star Wars 2019 collection. The capsule collection debuts on November 1 with the Lightsaber-themed pack, followed by the Space Battle pack launching November 21 and the Characters pack launching November 29. Each of the three capsules celebrates an iconic element of Star Wars.

The Toyota Supra comes to Forza Horizon 4 next month in a free title update. The model has been missing from several big-name racing video games since 2017’s Gran Turismo Sport launched. Turn10’s official Forza Motorsport account yesterday tweeted out the news, saying the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ will be included in Forza Horizon 4’s series 17 update on Dec. 12.

A new patent from Sony Interactive appears to have leaked images of the PS5 controller a year ahead of the next-gen PlayStation console's official launch in Holiday 2020.  The design sketches - as first spotted by VGC - were published on the Japanese Patent Office today, and while no official mention of the DualShock 5 is made, the images corroborate with everything we've heard about the upcoming accessory until now. If this patent is to be taken at face value, the PS5 controller will remove the DualShock 4's light bar while modifying the size of the triggers and sticks and adding what appears to be a USB port where the headphone jack currently is situated for PS4 players.

Just a day after the launch of family-oriented rival Disney+, Netflix has made a massive move in the world of children's and family programming. On Tuesday morning, Netflix and Nickelodeon announced that the companies had signed a multi-year deal that will see more joint projects based on both existing Nickelodeon properties and brand new original IP. This partnership started making waves earlier this year with the Netflix release of Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling and Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus. Nickelodeon and Netflix already have two more specials in the works based on current titles. Both The Loud House and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have new projects in the work at the streaming service. The announcement doesn't indicate whether or not previous Nickelodeon properties will be added to Netflix in the future, though quite a few shows were added to the roster in weeks prior.

The voice cast for the upcoming SCOOB! movie have been revealed The role of Scooby-Doo will be played by Frank Welker, who originally played Fred on the classic 1969 television show, and later transitioned to playing Scooby in 2002’s What’s New, Scooby-Doo? series. Playing Shaggy is actor Will Forte, known for his roles as MacGruber, his starring role in The Last Man on Earth, and his longtime work on Saturday Night Live. Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls, Les Miserable) plays Daphne, and Gina Rodriguez (Annihilation, Jane the Virgin) plays Velma. Playing Fred will be Zac Efron, known for his roles in High School Musical and more recently Baywatch and The Greatest Showman. It’s not just the core Mystery Inc. gang going up against a new foe, though, Dee Dee - played by Kiersey Clemons (Dope, Neighbors 2), Dick Dastardly - played by Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter’s Lucius Malfoy, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), Dynomutt - played by Ken Jeong (The Hangover, Crazy Rich Asians, Dr. Ken), Captain Caveman - played by Tracy Morgan (30 Rock), Blue Falcon - played by Mark Wahlberg (The Departed, Ted)

LEAK: On Twitter, a user with the handle PSErebus told their 1,019 followers that Xbox Project Scarlett will be the most powerful games console when it launches on November 6, 2020. PSErebus, which mostly tweets about PlayStation games and news, didn't say where they got the information from. Since there has been no official confirmation from Microsoft we must take this with a grain of salt.

It seems that the Shiny hunters of the Galar region won't need to try as hard as their predecessors, as a recent datamine of Pokémon Sword & Shield has revealed that the starter Pokémon are Shiny-locked. A Twitter user called mattyoukhana_ has been uploading information about Pokémon Sword & Shield and they have revealed that the starter Pokémon will never be Shiny. It will still be possible to acquire Shiny versions of Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble through breeding, but the actual Pokémon you choose at the start of the game will never be Shiny.

Grand Theft Auto 6 Info Leaked!

A Reddit post by the user JackOLantern1982 has revealed a lot of details for the upcoming GTA 6. This info ranges from where the game will take place and what consoles it will be released for. Here is the list in clear detail:

The next GTA title has been in development since 2012, but production didn’t begin properly until 2015, but even then the team was focusing more on Red Dead Redemption 2.  

It’s another Rockstar Worldwide Production.

Codename is PROJECT AMERICAS.

Set in both Vice City and a new fictional location based on Rio de Janeiro.

Some linear missions take place in Liberty City, but it isn’t an open world.

Game will balance realism and arcade and it won’t be as realistic as Red Dead Redemption 2.

One playable protagonist: male, not female, despite supposed leaks.

Set in 1970s-1980s.

You play as an up and coming drug lord-wannabe named “Ricardo”. Another key character called “Kacey” is a part of the narrative. You start off as a grunt doing runs as a cocaine smuggler from Vice City to the new large South American area before making connections with big time drug lords and making your way up. Multiple cities.

There will also be a giant prison which will play a part in the game.

Will feature a ‘chapter’ system similar to a Tarantino flick or Red Dead Redemption 2.

Weather is a heavy focus (hurricanes, floods, etc).

Buildings change over the eras, vehicles too. So older, rare classic cars get more expensive as time progresses etc. Full economy.

Heavily inspired by Netflix’s Narcos.

They want to have an incredible 70s/80s soundtrack.

A younger Martin Madrazo will make an appearance as will his father who is a big drug lord at the time. You do some missions for the Madrazo family involving hits on other gangs.

Drug empire building is a mechanic similar to Vice City Stories but bigger.

You can only have weapons on your person. No arsenal in your back pocket, like Red Dead Redemption 2.

Your personal vehicle will be like your horse saddle in Red Dead Redemption 2. All your equipment is stored in the trunk. You also store your body armour in the car. If you wear it, it appears, no longer just an invisible thing.

There will be tons of subtitle reading. Think Max Payne 3 amounts, very immersive, like watching an episode of Narcos. Whenever you’re in South America, don’t expect to hear much English. Vice City however is a mix of everything, but mostly English.

Last bit of narrative info, it will discuss topics such as HIV and the immigration crisis of the time. A fictional version of Fidel Castro etc.

Next-gen only, not PS4 or Xbox One.

GTA 6 is now their primary focus, alongside another title.

Game is still in Pre-Alpha so names, locations, details could and probably will change.

No ETA on a release date.

The game is set back in Liberty City, modern day.

The plot in the beginning of the game is reminiscent of The Wire.

Police officers are trying to crack down a gang/drug ring based around a night club.

There are four main characters, two police and two gang members.

The plot then twists and turns and goes to upstate New York, where it becomes more crime noir, think Ozark and Breaking Bad.

It will have twice the amount of dialogue as GTA 5 and a really crazy plot twist.

The main storyline splits after a while, the criminal side has sort of a sandbox build-a-crime-empire thing (Fallout 4 meets the Sims), while the police side is more of a traditional action game with a little twist of LA Noire.

Earliest release is holiday 2021, but I would guess later, 2022 or 2023.
