Aaaand here we have Estel, my amnesiac hedgehog hybrid! (Hybrid of what? That's the surprise!) Art isn't by me, it was a commission I got from @star-stages! And it is absolutely adorable!! ♥

She has her own story I'm working on called Void Bound. It's a bit of a slow start atm since I'm still establishing relationship dynamics between the characters!

But it'll get to the bulk of Sonic Generations soon enough! ... Or Shadow Generations, depending on how the romance vote goes.

And yes, those games were chosen specifically for use of the White Space. I thought it would be a fun way to delve into Estel's past

It has been a week since I've gotten engaged, and I cannot be happier

My fiancé and I still have a lot of planning to do, but we'll take it one step at a time

It is far more than I ever could have hoped for, especially when playing a game like FFXIV

That's... how we met, actually. Random chance of both of us role playing in the same area in FFXIV, and we just kind of... clicked with each other

Probably because we're both oddballs that have ADHD

I've had a few ups and downs with FFXIV, but this is one of the things I will always remember fondly

This game will forever hold a special place in my heart, since without it, I never would have met the love of my life

And here we are, a few years later, engaged and slowly putting together plans for our wedding

I wouldn't change a thing ♥

Hindsight is a funny thing. It can make you realize the humour in a situation that at the time, was very maddening or annoying. It can help you realize the happiness that may have been hidden in a moment of sadness. But it can also make you realize that someone fucked you up much worse than you originally thought, and you can only see now just how bad they were because you're in a much better space now. Funny how that works, huh?

Fun fact:

Both Autism and ADHD share a fun little quirk

When we hear certain sounds, we have to repeat them

I don’t why, but absolutely must repeat them

Now, a few of my friends are autistic or have ADHD, and I have ADHD, along with my bf

So often times when we’re in voice chat with each other there will be moments where one of us will make a sound. And then everyone else will start to repeat that sound and it will keep going back and forth until we all start laughing

Often times it’s the silliest things that keep us the most amused lol

While I have some clarity from my sick brain fog... I would like to offer you guys some advice.

When someone breaks up with you, for the love of god, do NOT keep sending them messages across their various social media platforms.

Do not EVER continue doing so when they’ve had to BLOCK YOU because you WON’T STOP SPAMMING THEM WITH MESSAGES.

The relationship didn’t work out. End of story. Grow up, move on, and leave them the fuck alone.

They don’t care how “bad” you perceive it to have ended. They don’t care about trying to end it on a “brighter” note. They’ve most likely already moved on and just want to be left ALONE.

And at this point, all you’re doing is harassing them.

You’re not making yourself look “good” by constantly trying to “reach out” to them because you want to “talk.”

You’re painting yourself as desperate, overly dependent, and incapable of moving on.

Stop.

Just. Stop.

What program do you use to make your AMAZING FFXIV screenshots?

I've already answered this question, which you can find more details in this post, but I will answer your question all the same.

CMTools is what I use for posing, Reshade mixed with some in-game filters to help get the kind of feel I want for the pose!

You can get some lovely screenshots with a bit of practice!

Hi There! I love all your FFXIV content and was wondering what program you use to create it? I've always wanted to try making content like this but have no clue where to start.

Since the emotes are rather limited in-game, it’s wonderful for getting the poses you want, though it does take a bit of getting used to, and it can take a few hours to get a pose juuuuust right.

For the colour, I use Reshade mixed with the in-game filters that /gpose gives us. The game itself is a bit washed-out, so I have Reshade to make the colour more vibrant and to pop a bit. Then I add the filter in /gpose that I think would suit the screenshot I’m taking!

Though sometimes I leave the filter off if I find a pose works nicely without it.
