I'm talking about the members of the Company of Thorin Oakenshield they've found dead. The hobbits grew up listening to the tales of their adventure and their extraordinary deeds.

Bruce Banner+others headcannons since he's so cute and need a little recognition:

-Bruce is autistic, his hyperfization was gamma radiation/tech and human anatomy (which is why he got his MD)

-Bruce hordes stim toys because he likes the sound they make or the texture they have

-sometimes stim toys will be found around the tower because he forgets where he puts his shit often

-he's actually really forgiving over most stuff and super sweet

-Bruce banner is friends with mostly everyone

-he likes to video call Reed Richard's if not go hang out with Reed sometimes so they can tinker just like he does with Tony

-Bruce has taught himself how to act polite in front of people

-Bruce is kind of shy around new people and hesitant to trust because of how many people have hurt him in the past

-Tony is really his comfort person in the tower

-Bruce was originally intimidated by and scared of Thor

-Bruce taught himself to sew by hand and he doesn't like sewing machines

-Bruce loves cuddles

-Bruce's favorite thing to do with the avengers is curl up under a weighted blanket, drink a chocolate milkshake and watch a movie with everyone

-the avengers are the first time in a really long time Bruce has felt at home

-Bruce and Steve like to get philosophical with one another

-Bruce is like the medic for the Avengers when they don't want to go see a proper medic and are being pissbabies over not getting medical help (Clint and Tony)

-he uses a shit ton of sarcasm but can never identify it in other people, so Tony started exaggerating his tone so much Bruce could recognize it

-Bruce only buys shirts from one specific company because he likes button ups and they make his favorite button ups and he refuses to wear new ones

-Bruce gets introduced to cargo pants (he loves them and doesn't have to sew patches into his pants for extra storage anymore)

-Bruce's favorite color isn't green and he hates being associated with the color green

-Bruce is kinda ass at cooking but he learns he's really good at baking because it requires precise measurements and specifics while he finds a lot of cooking to be guesstimating (he hates guesstimating)

The reason I didn't watch infinity war? Loki was strangled. Reason I didn't watch endgame? Can't watch endgame without watching infinity war. That's a problem, there.

I wanted to see Doomsday so bad, especially for the Yaoi (CHERIK IS BACK!!!!). But I won't be able to if the golden retriever, loveable murder hobo of a god is killed. Sorry for potentially ruining doomsday for everyone.

I still have little to zero faith in the Russos, but I need this to be true so bad.

I cant help but get out of my mind excited at the prospect of seeing Sam lead the avengers the way he was always meant to. Especially with the added rumors that Shang Chi and Black Panther have leading support roles.

Sam didn't get angry because of the name.

He didn't get angry because of the people forming the New Avengers. Despite his still evident distaste for John Walker, he actually likes them and he understands their stories and motives and would like to help them to get better, mentally speaking, as he did with Bucky.

No, he got angry because a bunch of white criminals can get recognized as the New Avengers in less than two days by the Government and general public while he – black Captain America – can't even get some funds and the table in front of him is covered in rejected proposals.

He got angry because he always has to fight teeth and nails to obtain anything and then things get handed to the others without hesitation.

He got angry because Bucky got to see it with his eyes, how the system always tries to let him down and how his doubts flare up whenever people distrust him, and yet he didn't do anything – in his perspective – to stop Valentina and help him save everything he worked so hard for.

He got angry because if it's so easy for people to cheer on the New Avengers, who knows how much longer he can go before someone starts saying once again that he should let someone who "fits the role better" take the title of Captain America.

And in the end, what seems like anger isn't really anger. It's just exhaustion and disappointment and the sinking feeling that the one person he could rely on isn't on his side anymore.

He just wants, once in his life, for things to be easy.

So I was asked to fill this out marvel edition and this is my opinion, I am dying on this hill. I haven't watched Thunderbolts and to be honest don't plan to because I don't think I'll enjoy it (the last new marvel movie I'm watching is CABNW). I'll provide brief explanations for every opinion under the cut (this is based off of what I remember and I will not fact-check this)

Fav Character - Bruce Banner: I find him like a funny little guy and I like him a lot. He's so sweet and yet he's so threatening, how I feel about him and why I love him are hard to articulate

Liked by everyone but me - Baron Zemo: I will give him props for being an incredibly smart fellow. I do like his story. I just don't like him very much. I don't like how he treats Bucky and Sam (they're some of my favs). TFATWS confirmed how I felt about him a little more, though I'm glad he got a bit of redemption during that TV series.

Didn't like at first - Jean Grey: I watched a little bit of X-Men 97 to get into X-Men (mostly because of Logan I watched it). I thought she was kinda using Logan and that made me mad, but once I further dived into her character I realized how much I love her. I apologize to everyone for my previous and short-lived hate on Jean Grey 🙏

Would like to know more about - Natasha Romanoff: I only put her here because I have not looked into her much yet, but I'm doing a million other things and plan on looking into her this summer

Least Favorite Character - Red Skull: Do I even have to explain this?

Like the design, dislike the character - Victor Creed: I love his design, it's absolutely amazing how beautiful his design is. But I dislike him as a character, I mean he literally eats people's cats. That isn't cool dude :[

Like the character, dislike the design - Loki: I literally only don't like the old man, wrinkly Loki. Every other design I've seen, otherwise, is peak

Similar personality - Deadpool: If I was a merc who could heal forever like he can I also would be as goofy and stupid as him, I also relate to how easily he pisses people off (and I also want to fuck Logan sooooooo) (I almost put Bruce here for similar reasons, except for the whole science part, I'm ass at science)

Fav ship - Thorbruce: I love this ship so much, it speaks to me. I almost put Cherik here, but Thorbruce feels so perfect to me. They compliment one another so well, and Hulk and Thor's dynamic isn't quite the same but is still so fun.

Least fav ship: Rogueneto: I literally feel my skin crawl at the thought of this ship, even though it's canon in some universes 😭 I mean he literally groomed her, then she decided to hit on him BACK!!! like eugh, also Erik is literally in love with Charles and I will take no criticism on that fact (I love Erik too ❤️ but grooming rogue wasn't okay ☹️)

Would befriend in real life - Storm and Jean Grey: They're just such cuties, and I would go out of my way to be besties with them, Storm and Jean just seem so fun (I could have put so many others here but I feel like they'd love me while others like Sam and/or Bucky would either like or hate me 😭)

Would never befriend in real life: John Walker: after what happened in TFATWS I will literally never like him and I refuse to watch Thunderbolts. I'm sorry, John Walker lovers, but I cannot with him. He's up there on my hate list, with Red Skull, Thanos, Bruce's dad, etc.

FIRST THOR MVP EVERYBODY (I just started playing him last night and got an mvp)

I've decided that today I'm doing a few X-men+Magneto headcannons:

-Logan is like a cat. And since he's like a cat, he climbs the rafters and likes to sleep up high.

-Logan's bed is a pile of blankets and pillows on the floor. It's a nest, but he'll never admit it.

-Kurt likes to sleep upside down, so he also sleeps up in the rafters

-The students that attend the school are scared of Erik, but since he's shows up so much (because of Charles) they've learned he's not that bad

-Erik also has never hurt any of the students and refuses to even hurt Jubilee, and really only would beat the shit out of Logan (he and Logan don't get along)

-Storm is definitely the mom friend

-Jean Grey is not the mom friend, but rather the aunt

-Scott and Jean are probably autistic

-Logan emotionally has like 12 daughters and only one of them is related to him (Laura)

-When the younger kids have to fight Erik and the brotherhood he literally refuses to hurt them and tries to subdue them painlessly like letting them exhaust themselves or something like that

-Raven is willing to hurt kids, however

-Erik has threatened to kill Raven over this many times, as he refuses to traumatize and hurt children since he sympathizes with how terrifying those experiences can be

-Ever since Erik started showing up to the mansion more, everyone in the mansion has started celebrating Hanukah and Christmas

-Logan purrs like a cat

-Kurt also purrs

-Logan sleeps with a lot of the X-men as he's a manwhore

-Erik learned how to knit so he knits stuff for the kiddos sometimes, but he likes to make stuff for Charles

-Charles now has a collection of things Erik has knit for him

-Erik wears reading glasses

-Erik sometimes wears the helmet to piss Charles off since Charles doesn't like it

-Charles has to try and stop himself from going into people's minds, as his default is reading their thoughts. Since Erik tries to make him as comfortable as possible and when Erik isn't being a salty pissbaby, he encourages Charles to read his thoughts

-Charles's fuckass wheelchair is something Erik will mess with, sending him towards or away from him sometimes

-Erik would literally kill anyone that tries to hurt the school

-Erik and Bobby become close

Okay guys, hot take (again I'm straying away from xmen and marvel, my LOTR obsession just came back and started beating me over the head)

So the hobbit movies versus the book. Of course the movies are different. But here's what I think. At the end of the hobbit book, from what I remember, the devastation and everyone's death was glossed over, because Bilbo was writing his book for children, emphasizing the elves and dwarves and wizards and the fun parts, either not telling or glossing over the negative parts.

And the movies could have taken all that glossed over parts and actually shined light on them, shined light on what Bilbo experienced, shined light on what Bilbo either glossed over or didn't address in the book. I know that the movies aren't perfect, as perfect is merely a fantasy and an impossible concept, but yet the movies do deserve their own credit. Yes, what was established in the book was changed in the movies, but Bilbo had changed what he actually experienced to make it child-friendly. He glossed over his injuries, glossed over the extreme pain he was in from cutting back his meals from 6 hearty feasts down to scraps if any food each day.

The movies are often hated, but looking at it from the perspective that they're looking back upon what Bilbo glossed over does make the movies better. People say that so much of the movies were made up, but Bilbo completely glossed over and ignored the tragedy that struck at the very end of the book.

Still not too happy about Legolas and Tauriel being involved, but that's a completely different discussion
