I'd like to acknowledge the Batman fandom and the Aphmau fandom (I know, weird combo) for the different ways they handle the anniversary of a major character death.

Like, on the anniversary of the day Jason Todd died the Batman fandom is like, "Aw, this is the day Jason Todd died, that's so sad. He's such a good character, so well written and relatable and cool. Let's all make fanart and talk about how much we love him"

And then the Aphmau fandom on Aaron's death day all just collectively come together to go, "fuck that guy! That guy sucked, so glad he's dead honestly, he was a shit character!"

I just think the way that these two fandoms celebrate their Jason's death is really funny, cause one comes together to love and show support for a character, and the other comes together to show support in hating a character.

Say what you want about the Aphmau fandom but they sure do know how to come together when it comes to hating something.

i think people in this fandom hold way too tightly to the versions of the characters created in 2013 and don’t want anyone to try and create a new or different interpretation of them, so much so that they are willing to straight up be racist/ableist/homophobic just to preserve their specific idea of their precious shithead the killer or whatever

it’s 2023 now, it’s been ten years, things change. i know that when you were 10 all the creepypastas were skinny white anime boys, and you’re totally allowed to think of them they way if you want, but not everyone does

people are allowed to make characters who are POC, disabled, gay, trans, etc, because you as a cishet able bodied neurotypical white person do not experience erasure, please stop acting like you’re being victimized

Jane is Black, Toby is autistic, Brian uses mobility aids and EJ is bisexual. piss your pants and cry about it

i don’t give a shit if you hate woke blorbofication or whatever. i’m tired of looking out over a sea of flavorless teenage boys every time i consume creepypasta content.

also stop shitting on people who enjoy the creepypasta x marble hornets crossover and/or creepypasta mansion universes. it doesn’t make you cool or better than them you just look like a dickhole

Liked by everyone but me: DON'T COME FOR ME BUGGY NATION. I DON'T HATE HIM. I just don't get the hype. I think he's funny and I really liked him during Impel down but other than that, he's kinda just another character to me.

Didn't like at first: I honestly couldn't even tell you why 😭💀 She just made me mad especially during Loguetown. I like her now tho, especially Alabasta/Post-time-skip Tashigi (👍ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠)👍*⁠.⁠✧

Like the design, dislike the character: I didn't really dislike Ms. Valentine and Mr. 5, but I had to choose them because I don't think there really is a person who I dislike for both their character and their design.

Like the character, dislike the design: this is kinda the opposite of the last one. At face value I HATE Doflamingo, however I would fucking stupid to not be able to appreciate his character for that reason. He does such a good job at making me hate him that I kinda respect it 💀. Anyway tho whoever told him that loafers and skin-tight capris looked good together needs to be brought to justice. Cuz damn bro take that shit off PLEASE 😭

Fav ship: I don't really have one ngl, but if I had to choose...no one can deny that Frobin are the cutest fucking thing (⁠ᗒ⁠ᗩ⁠ᗕ⁠) I also don't technically ship Zosan either, but TRUST I see the vision (+ all the Zosan artists/writers out there are so damn talented that I can't help but appreciate/consume their works I'm gonna be honest lmao).

Would never befriend irl: I love Luffy to death, I swear I do, but that mf would annoy the ever-loving FUCK out of me irl. If I ever saw him in real life one of us would be dying immediately. I just think our personalities would clash so bad. In terms of morals, beliefs, outlooks on life, and opinions about dreams/passiona we'd get along great; otherwise, he is the most oblivious, impervious, blunt, obnoxious, loud, unhygienic, and extroverted person to exist, and I am the most sensitive, hypervigilant, quiet, timid, emotional, cautious, people-pleasing, and introverted person alive. He would get angry because he couldn't understand why I am so wary and anxious all the time, and I wouldn't understand why he isn't more careful or strategic and throws himself at death 24/7. That boy would be giving me panic/anxiety attacks left and right. Not to mention he would intimidate the fuck outta me, and I think that feeling is partially related to his conqueror's haki. Luffy's sheer confidence and trust in himself and his abilities, his drive and determination to chase his dreams, his fearlessness of life and death are all things I strive for and his does these things so effortlessly, that I think I would feel insecure and just-very small in comparison to him ngl

Opinion on SOME people in the sally face fandom

I feel like a lot of people mischaracterize Travis. Like I feel like all they see him as "Lil gay boy who has a silly little crush on Sal" Like???? No. He is way more than that. He is a very complicated and well written character (imo) and even though there inst really much of him in the game (Which there should be tbh) he is still an amazing character who I feel should be respected more in the fandom lol. But maybe its just me idk. But anyways, I love Travis sm you guys omg. He is the best character in the game to me because I relate to him a lot. I just wish SOME people in the fandom appreciated his character more. (and I do see a lot of that in the fandom which makes me happy !!) (Also I do understand that this is a small part of the fandom that does this and I may be overreacting lol but I really just wanted to write about something sally face related because I am bored so I thought I would share my opinion lol ALSO I am going to make some sally face art probably but idk when I will post it sooooo yeah ig. Maturing is realizing you can be in the same fandom just different spaces (Ex: Tumblr V.S. Instagram), align with the opinions of one, but spend more time on the other.

I spend 95% of the time in the KOLTC fandom on here even though I disagree with probably 70% of the popular opinions (Tumblr very much disliking Keefe even though I like him a lot, Tumblr fighting tooth and nail for Fitz when I respect his character more than like it, Tumblr preferring the earlier books while I prefer the later books, etc etc.)

You don’t have to side with the opinions of the website fandom or leave that website completely. Frankly, this website is just way more fun even if I disagree with most of the opinions I see on it.
