There is nothing like seeing a live performance. It’s the moment when an artist can hand deliver their art to the recipient and connect with the community of supporters they have cultivated. This is what I miss about theater, the rush of excitement in each and every moment of crafting something in front of a live audience. Now more than ever we appreciate these opportunities because we’ve learned in this ever-changing world they may not always be here. I’m so thankful for performance art in all of its forms. Thankful for friends who appreciate the arts and the value it brings to society and culture and humanity. To all performers in this world, actors, musicians, singers, dancers, comedians, etc and the writers, directors, producers and many other key people who make performing possible, keep bringing us your art. We need it. To anyone who thinks their art isn’t good enough, it is, and we need you too. Don’t give up. You have a beautiful gift.
