I've been working on future pages... these will make zero sense without context, especially since these are for pages 10 and 12, but we're making progress! Ever since I finished thumbnailing out the first 8 pages, I had a hard time thumbnailing out the next 8. Visualizing the rest of the comic took longer than it should've, but I like where it's going so far!

SO pre-critique inks... of just pages 1 and 3! I've got the first 4 down, so these are just sneak peeks. Didn't think I would be going down the cross-hatching path since I haven't done cross-hatching in a year or 2... but this is quite a battle dodging tangents and trying to give a disorienting tone to page 3. Blog Introduction Two: Electric Boogaloo!

Well hey there! I'm Ammy, or Nubbit, either is fine! And of course welcome to my blog!

I'm a twenty-three year old creative writer who goes by she/they, I'm aroace, and did I mention that I'm a writer?

Here at ammstify, I, ammy, use this blog to talk about all my different interests, reblog all sorts of neat art, fanfic, and ideas, and talk about my super secret project!

Funfact about myself: I absolutely LOVE books, fanfic, and of course, WRITINGGGG!

As a sort of New Year's Resolution, I've decided to start this year off strong with trying to read more! I'd love to discuss some of the books I've read so far, cause boy they are a DOOZY!

Some of my favorite genres include, but are not limited to:

As for fanfic, I'm actually in the midst of writing a fanfic right now, and hopefully in the future will post the first chapter alongside many other chapters too!

But also with a wonderful friend of mine as well.

Yes that's right, THE COLLABORATION I'VE BEEN HOLDING NEAR AND DEAR TO MY HEART WITH MY BESTIE, @comics-elianna!!!

I'm the co-creator and main writer of our long planned project "To The Ends of The Earth", a queer supernatural-horror story focused on two protagonists, Elianna's lovely boy Morgan Gray, and my boy Dominic Sandoval!

As you can see from my little silly illustration of us two above, the two of our characters are romantically entwined! BUT, as their romance buds through the story, their relationship and trust in one another will be tested, forcing the two of them to come to terms with their own inner demons...

Both metaphorically, and literally.

As always, if you'd like to learn more about the story and characters, you can find Ellie's more in-depth post about it here along with posts about their upcoming prologue comic for the series! And going forward, I'll also be posting as often as I can about them too!

I'm absolutely excited to talk about these two more in-depth, especially my boy Nicky! (Also to note because I'm worried folks will assume, Dominic is not white, he's Latino, I just didn't color him this time for these drawings 😅)

This is a bit of an angstier last line from my vashwood fic "To All the Walls We Were Meant to Break", which I've been slowly but surely working on! Not much context, but I like the way it builds up before snapping Vash back to reality:

He missed the comfort of someone sharing a room with him, day in and day out. He missed the warmth of another's presence, always looming nearby, even when they were apart. He missed– “You doin’ okay over there, honey?”

Okay so I lied again! New introduction post is gonna be #205 because @/sabertoothwalrus, a lovely artist I follow and checkout everyday for fun reblogs, made a point in her post here that I'd like to highlight:

We need to celebrate trans joy as ally's, and share it just as much, if not moreso, than the bad stuff.

So today, I wanna ask my trans followers and any passerby's as a fun thing to get folks in the community to spread throughout Tumblr: What is something that you as a trans person have been doing lately that brings you joy?

I'll share a few examples that happened to my friends!

My transmasc friend not only is getting his top surgery (hopefully) in June, but also finally got a scholarship he's been wanting to get since he started college, and will be going to the UK to study art!

Another transmasc friend of mine has been writing lots of fanfic, mainly about Vashwood from Trigun and Satosugu from Jujutsu Kaisen, and has consistently been getting in charity zines while improving!

Another transmasc friend of mine has been playing Minecraft like NUTS lately, and has decorated our whole shared world so beautifully! He's also been working really hard to overcome his current disability and is trying to find ways to get his GED!

My elder nonbinary friend went to a Voltaire concert with their sibling and got to not only enjoy Voltaire LIVE, but also met a gentlemen dressed in the most hilariously amazing rubber duck themed clothes imaginable, and got to gush about rubber ducks with him!

And ofc, my best friend who is demigender, just launched their Tumblr for the first time so that we can start talking about our ocs and planned indie comics! And also has been growing as an artist day by day, making me more and more prouder than ever 💜

Well, I was originally going to save post #200 for my reintroduction, but after seeing the news today, I want to use this post instead to let people know: If you're trans, I support you.

Today, on April 16th, 2025, the United Kingdom's Supreme Court ruled that transgender women are effectively no longer recognized under the Equality Act of 2010. This prevents all transgender women from having protections which are now only granted to "biological" cisgender women, which are defined by "being able to get pregnant".

Fucking gross, especially since there are cisgender women who CAN'T get pregnant.

Alongside that, the court now only recognizes "biological" cisgender women as being able to be lesbians, so if you're a transgender woman in love with a cis or trans woman? You are no longer considered a lesbian, and cannot be protected either, which now policies what sexuality you can define yourself as too.

Now, this doesn't affect me since I am neither transgender nor from the UK, but I know there are a few people here who it does affect. Many artists, writers, and even a few mutual's, all whose lives may change instantly because of this utterly ridiculous ruling.

And to those people? I'm sorry, and there's not much I can do but let you know that I support you and love you and hope you're all okay, especially as an American who's country may follow a similar path for our transgender citizens.

I'm also going to take the time to highlight of course the fattest elephant in the room: J.K. Rowling funded this.

Yep! Right now, the tawdry foul mouthed bigot billionaire spent over £70,000, or roughly around $92,000 USD, back in 2024, and has probably given even more money over the years, to one of the TERF groups that brought this case to the UK supreme court after being rejected by the Scottish one: For Women Scotland.

And of course, she is cheering and jeering because she's "oh so right" about this, and instead of minding her own fucking business like always, she takes the money from idiotic fans and uses it to once again try and drown out the rights of minorities she hates, but also cisgender women and lesbians too.

So as always, I'm gonna state this here:

If you read Harry Potter? Get the fuck off my profile. You're an enabler and bigot, who needs help, and I don't want to associate with you or your ilk.

If you support J.K. Rowling? Get the fuck off my profile. You're a disgusting trans-exclusionary radical feminist, that ruins the lives of gender non-conforming cisgender women, lesbians, and both transgender women and men, and I don't give a single crap about your "gender critical" bullshit. Shove it clean up your hole, turn around, and leave.

If you claim to be an ally but still buy and support Harry Potter products? Get the fuck off my profile. You're a hypocrite and you deserve to be ignored and forgotten instead of actually supporting the people to "claim" to, and maybe being ignored will make you realize why reading a stupid book is less important that helping those in need.

And if you're a TERF? Again, get the fuck off my profile. Told ya'll there was something big happening!

I'd like to introduce my lovely friend and partner in artistic crime, Elianna! (Also known as Bizzkit) They're a really wonderful sequential artist, who in the background with me, has been planning this project overall for YEARS!

"To The Ends of the Earth" is our big special life project, with our two characters Morgan (27, he/they), and Dominic (25, he/him), who go on a journey across the United States together. However, as they two grow closer and closer, a dark force looms over and within them, testing both their own selves, their burgeoning relationship, and the fate of the world.

Of course, we're not quite ready to go fully into the larger project, but Elianna here is making what we call "To The Ends of the Earth: Prologue", a 16-page comic showing off what happens to Morgan before the two men meet and how his life changes because of it.

About Me... and What I'm About to Bring to The Table.

Hi guys :) My names Elianna, or Ellie for short. This is my art account, and for now I'll be promoting my current project: To The Ends of The Earth: Prologue. Which will be about a 16-page comic serving as a prologue to a much bigger series in collaboration with @ammstify !

I'm 22 and I use she/they pronouns. I'm a big video game and comic fan!

WHAT IS "TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH?" The general story is a travel and eldritch horror, which represents themes of ostracization and the struggle of self-expression (especially when queer and/or neurodivergent), codependency, forging your own destiny, and emotional maturity.

This story takes place in 2002, America, and follows two protagonists:

Morgan (27, he/they): A mellow optimist who lives life on the road with his old cat, Belladonna (named after a pornstar, not the poison).

Though once confident about his independence and queer identity, Morgan meets a new "friend" that takes away what makes him *him*.

He dies alone from a copperhead bite but is brought back to life hours later by an organic, eldritch parasite who creates a manipulative and codependent relationship with Morgan to keep them both alive. Though he's no longer dead, Morgan starts to struggle with what was once his greatest strength.

Dominic (25, he/him): A closed-off, forlorn ex-mechanic, who lives by himself far from family, stuck in a depressing hustle and bustle city life. He's soft-spoken, a bit pessimistic but thinks he's a realist, and is well-meaning but loves to cover it up with a tough act.

His life turns on its head after encountering Morgan late one night in the streets of Boston, Massachusetts, giving him a much needed change. Dominic holds a major key in the hidden plots surrounding their meeting, quite literally inside him. Unbeknownst to the both of them, their meeting was, indeed, not on accident.

He joins Morgan on his journey, and throughout it, relearns what it means to live, to be confident in himself, and to open up.

This prologue only stars Morgan as the protagonist and his origin with the main antagonist: Bel, an eldritch parasite. While on a road trip in the middle-of-nowhere Washington, Morgan gets bit by a copperhead snake and dies in a grimy bathroom by himself. Hours later, he wakes up thinking he just passed out. But later that night while camping in the forest, they're greeted by hallucinations of the thing that saved him.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE FROM ME!

I'll be posting updates on my progress for the completion of this prologue! That includes what the characters look like, some of the pages in progress, and more. By the time I finish it, you guys will be able to view it on itch.io!

I'll probably make a secondary art account for fun. And there you will see me talk about my favorite stuff outside of my personal stuff. Such as.... Trigun, allll of Red Dead Redemption, FNAF, Resident Evil, and more!

Honestly, I think that's the one and only positive about the states: It doesn't take very long to get HRT!

My friend took about 5-6 months to get his, and it only took that long because of scheduling, letters, and insurance stuff.

I suppose that's the only real downside to healthcare in the UK, really REALLY good prices for a referral wait-list 😅
