Now playing, Bursting At The Seams. . The #lockdownlife has been taking a toll on us, being cooped up indoors has been chipping away at us bit by bit, sometimes going unnoticed. . You probably already know it but to get out of this funk- it makes a difference if you take time out to take a short walk - in your nearest park (in your mask ofcourse) or just in one of your neighborhood roads. Another way could be to talk to your pets (can be cats, dogs, plants etc) - mine actually answers back sometimes 🐶 He just can't deal with some of my clients 😛 At the end of the day, just exhale and let go. This dapper boy in his dapper bow-tie from @headsupfortails , turns one today ❤️🎉🐶 I thought I knew everything there was to know about raising dogs until this boy threw me a curve ball. Everything went out of the window. I got the most headstrong, naughtiest, anxiety-ridden , not so cuddly, not easily trusting goofball out there. He has it his own way, he's tested my patience and made me feel like I have extreme mood swings when I'd want to scold him but smush him out of love at the same time . { S K E T CH B O O K P E A K} Between client works, as a detox, I visited a new sketchbook today. Took to drawing what seemed natural- some tigers ofcourse and some new animals (badgers, a dog, and a weird leopard I think) It's something I haven't done off-late and with so much screen time this seemed relaxing. Sketching in the new greenhouse helped too! . I love getting a sneak peak into people's sketchbooks - its quite inspirational. A place where 'undo' and 'redo' in the digital sense doesn't exit, the sketches are raw and messy. A place where ideas come to life in the chaos. . 🌿What do you do to reset yourself from your daily routines? I'd love to know (and maybe see if I can try something different next time) 🌿 .
