Gotta reorganize my masterlist, but I'll pick the time for that to be the dead of night so I flood the dashboard of as few people as possible.

Also gotta rethink my update schedule cause there's no way in hell I'm gonna be able to pull off 3 (4, counting my sw fic) updates a week at the rate I'm writing right now 😅

So like...my writing slowed to a crawl. But it's not because of disinterest or running out of steam or anything like that. It's 1) currebtly writing serious dialogue which take me a while to write, and 2) my brain has been flooding me with ideas for all kinds of points in the story /except where I'm currently writing/ so yeah. Yeah. Progressive procrastination? Proactive waffling? I don't know what to call it lol.

What first drew me to Levi: Honestly, I won't lie, I have a type/pattern. It's not "I can fix him," no no no, that's my BFF's thing lol. I am a, "I want to help him" person, if that makes sense? I tend to gravitate towards the one's I just want to make feel better/comfort/give the world to, and I get there much, much faster when it's a character that is really strong/tough, SEEMS emotionally distant or unapproachable at first, but there's just so much DEPTH to them, and then, ugh, I'm a gonner. And it doesn't help that I'm a sucker for the blue eyes dark hair combo lol

My favorite thing about him: His loyalty and his heart, his empathy, are definitely the main things. Gets me in the heart every time. His perseverance--and his dry/dark humor, too, haha.

My favorite look? Listen, any time the blue of his eyes is really popping I just-- GASP-- Meeeeellllttttttt And season 3 fed me VERY well in this regard, hehehehe. So Season 3 grey shirt Levi, though I was mostly looking at them eeeyyyeeesss <33333

To spread some Levi love around, I was wondering: what first drew you to Levi’s character? What is your favorite thing about him to this day? And what’s your favorite look of his? 😏

Hi my beloved Flo. I’m doing better now that you’ve dropped into my asks. 🤍

What first drew me to Levi was his strength, to be honest. He’s just so cool! Someone with that much strength and ability could (and often do) have an enormous ego, but he doesn’t. He cares for his comrades in the Survey Corps. And I love morally grey characters with sad back stories, haha.

My favorite thing about him to this day are his quirks. He could have easily been written as the idyllic, heroic character, but he wasn’t. He’s obsessed with cleaning and holds his tea cup in a strange manner. He has a potty mouth. His ‘imperfections’ make him perfect to me. 😌

My favorite look? Oof, there’s so many….the grey shirt in season 3 is so hot, but I really like him in the formal uniform too.

What about you? I’d love to know!

Was re-reading Wings in the Dark the other day looking for a scene and stumbled across a part where Reader refers to Levi as Levi Ackerman.

Whooooops, gotta go in and fix that, this is 3 ish years before Eren even shows up as a titan: bitch, you do not have that knowledge, get that last name out of here, it hasn't been unearthed yet. We may have finagled the timeline a bit and blamed butterfly effect of introducing vamps into the narrative, but it hasn't changed THAT much.

This is a hard one to do, though, cause the way I listen to music is ever changing, I don't have favorites, I have PLAYLISTS for different moods/vibes/stories/characters, and I think there's ALMOST no genera that doesn't have at least a few songs I love, and the songs I CURRENTLY listen to usually are 1) because I have it in mind for a character I'm playing/writing, 2) because it's inspired a scene in my head that I love, 3) it was so dang catchy and now it's stuck in my head and I must listen 1000000000x, or 4) I watched a really good edit with it and it's giving me so many good vibes I want it playing all the time (And it's usually inspiring character or scene stuff, too lol).

So this is VERY difficult lol

Now! Just FIVE that are a favorite right now? Hmmmmmmmmm...

1)) "Sunder" by Really Slow Motion

This is probably my all time FAVORITE instrumental piece, and it's in four different character playlists (Including my Vampire!Fem!Reader X Canon!Levi fic playlist, lol, I can imagine the main beats of the WHOLE story perfectly to this song)

2)) "Shadow" by Livingston: Run from the town, all you need is your name, and the sweat on your brow, and the blood running through your veins. Don't thing twice--you'll be dead in a second. Turn your eyes--from your hands to the heavens. Kill your pride--Turn your fear to a weapon. And don't you forget it.

It's...it's just so PERFECT for my current DnD Character (Jules my baby boi I swear you'll get a happy ending </3)

3)) "Running Up That Hill" by Placebo: You don't want to hurt me, but see how deep the bullet lies. Unaware that I'm tearing you asunder; there's a thunder in our hearts, baby. So much hate for the ones we love--tell me, we both matter, don't we?

I know it's not the OG version, but I heard this song first on The Vampire Diaries and it has had a chokehold on me ever since. It's practically the THEME of A Demon's Promise, AND a main song for my DnD character (Again lol) AND a character for a RP I got going on. Also love the Epic version from Stranger Things that Samuel Kim did for it, that version always gets me running around the house with ENERGY <3

4)) "Still Here" by League of Legends/2WEI/Forts/Tiffany Aris: All my reasons cut like knives, keep replaying in my mind, all the times I've had to fight, I'm still here, I'm still here.

I saw the Dark Star AMV to this song, and it's just VIBRATING with the energy that's in a lot of my characters/stories/favorite characters and it's one of the songs that just gets my blood pumping.

5)) "Bauklotze" and "Zero Eclipse" by Hiroyuki Sawano: (Zero Eclipse) You're trembling, we share a kiss, our world's eclipse. I know, it's cheating, but these two from AOT's OSTs are just, they're TIED right now for how much I listen to them for Wings in the Dark, okay? They're practically on a repeat loop, I'll skip half the story's playlist and just sit there and imagine the scene that's been haunting me that's so far ahead for Bauklotze I'll listen to it for an HOUR STRAIGHT just imagining the scene, and their whole relationship dynamic for Zero Eclipse (I LOVE THIS SONG TOO MUCH)

Okay, had to take a small break to focus on some dnd character stuff cause shit was happening in our game, but I'm back in the saddle for writing again teehee.

Sitting at 10 pages into chapter 31 of Wings in the Dark (I finished chapter 30 with 21 pages), 19 pages of A Demon's Promise Part 17, and 6 pages of Through The Looking Glass Chapter 14.

Google docs pages, BTW, if that makes a difference, idk lol

Considering moving my writing for Wings in the Dark to Scrivener, though, cause the lore I just had to sit down and flesh out got pretty deep and the Scrivener corkboard feature is looking reeeaaallllyyyyy tempting right about now...
