My favorite Soukoku headcanon EVER is Kouyou supporting Chuuya for being gay just not for his choice in men, however I think it’d be safe to assume Verlaine into that category too.

Mori goes down to Verlaine’s basement to inform him of Chuuya’s recent date. Verlaine specifies he does not care if Chuuya is gay, he’s fucking gay. Mori says it was a date with Dazai. Verlaine leaves his basement for the first time in 10 months.

Chuuya and Dazai are at a restaurant. The booth behind Dazai as Mori. The booth behind Chuuya has Verlaine and Kouyou. Dazai is fully aware of the situation, Chuuya is not. Dazai thinks the situation is hilarious. Chuuya will not when he finds out.

Rashomon launches at Atsushi, however before he can dodge, it stops. Atsushi stares confused, Akutagawa stares, also confused. Rashomon approaches slowly, before nuzzling Atsushi like a cat would its owner. Atsushi is further confused, and Akutagawa blushes realizing what Rashomon is doing. He deactivates the ability, turning around and scoffing,

“My ability seems to be thinking on its own… I shall kill you another day.” And with that, he walks off. Poor Atsushi is left standing there, watching as the jacket forms a tendril to wave a sad goodbye, as Akutagawa begins to scold it.

All five Hunting Dogs enter an escaperoom, fully prepared to work together as a team.

An hour later, Fukuchi is absolutely wasted from booze he snuck in, throwing up into a vase in the room. Teruko is holding his hair, yelling how she’s here for him. Tecchou is paying attention to everything BUT what’s needed to escape. Jouno has given up and is sitting in a corner, plugging his nose due to his heightened senses. Tachihara is desperately calling Hirotsu, saying he “got stuck in an escaperoom with total strangers”. Everyone has forgotten the safeword.

Half an hour later, Hirotsu shows up and frees them. He looks and sees Fukuchi and questions Tachihara;

Hirotsu: Is that Ochi Fukuchi?

Tachihara, looking back, seeing Fukuchi once again retch, going back to throw up more while Teruko holds his hair, yelling that she’s here for him: …no.

Tachihara and Hirotsu leave, Jouno following pursuit. Tecchou leaves upon realizing Jouno hasn’t complained about him in 5 minutes, meaning he’s gone. Fukuchi and Teruko leave an hour later.
