Hello! my website has shifted to www.annok.de. But don't be afraid, this blog will stay alive with news and updates on my ongoing projects and exhibitions.
The Gulf Stream is a powerful current in the Atlantic Ocean. The powerful system influences the climate of the east coast of North America and the west coast of Europe. Like many ecosystems on Earth the Gulf stream is affected, even be threatened, by global warming. I designed an interactive infographic using project mapping and real-time data visualization to illustrate the connection between global warming and the Gulf stream. More information on annok.de/gulfstream/.
First tests of projection mapping. This little model represents one of the largest system on Earth. It has a major role in climate change. Can you guess what it is? Stay tuned for more clues ;)
The progress video of my latest work is now online: https://vimeo.com/267318543
Make sure to watch until the end and see more than 300 avatars that were created during the exhibition last February ;) Check out the whole project at annok.de/mindeio
This is a series of dance poses that resulted spontaneously when this dear friend of mine started to dance freely during a photo shooting. It was wonderful to watch her all by herself. All I needed to do, was point my camera and hunt.

This is the second part of my visualization series about the energy flow of capoeira motion: eMotion. I followed the movements of Capoeira using light tubes and LED, which were attached to the arms and legs of a Capoeirista. The result is a series of fascinating light sculptures, painted by capoeira movements.
The first part of this series shows the interaction between two Capoeira players. You can see it >here!<

Exhibition of "The Art of Capoeira" at the ABADÁ-Capoeira Euro Cup 2017 in Prague! It was an impressive event and I was able to have some inspiring conversations with Capoeira players and masters about photography of Capoeira.
This set of three series of abstract light figures demonstrates the flow of energy in a capoeira game. Capoeira is a unique martial arts form, which combines dance and combat. For this series LED tubes were attached to the arms and legs of two capoeiristas to follow their movement during their dialogue.

New Exhibition open now !!! @Munich Airport, 2017 March 15 - May 1
If you happen to be in the area, drop by the photo exhibition at Munich’s airport. At Terminal 2 you can see my series “The Art of Capoeira” among all the other award winners of the BJV “Press Photo 2016″ Bavaria/Franconia. Photos by Maria Goblirsch, BJV
These photos are test shots of different light source attached to the arms and legs of Capoeira fighters. It is an abstract glimpse of my new project of capturing the energy that fuels the game of Capoeira.
Impressions of the exhibition opening “the art of capoeira”. It was a wonderful evening at the bookstore erLesen. Many thanks for the location and organisation! I also want to thank the Abadá-Capoeira Würzburg group for a special demonstration at the opening. If you missed the opening, there is plenty of time left to visit the exhibition and rummage through the bookshop. The exhibition will be open until May 2017!
