I was rewatching the movie the other day, and I kinda rediscovered how little I actually care for what happens. Like, Peter and Ned are looking at her and commenting on her shirt in the cafeteria, and that’s kinda sweet? But then what??? He talks to her like twice, and there’s like no spark and it’s like very downplayed if he actually cares for her or not

I know it’s kinda a must for there to be a lady love since it is a superhero movie, and I guess that’s the whole point, but they don’t have a happily ever after? She kinda moves away and he doesn’t care thaaat much, because she’s mad at him for ditching her at the dance.

I would’ve loved the movie 100% more if, and I know that this would absolutely never happen but let me dream, they didn’t introduce Liz at all. The movie would not be different at all if the school scenes are just Peter and Ned being Baby Science Bros(tm), them and MJ having more interactions, and all the same stuff happening with the Washington monument and the decathlon. I honestly don’t think that the movie would be any worse if instead of Liz being a motivator for him saying he knows Spider-Man than if it was just some random person, happening to be throwing a party, saying how cool they think he is just for Ned to blurt out what he did.

This is probably an unpopular opinion/no one cares but this was on my mind and I felt like I had to put it out there. Lmk if you feel the same or disagreee or whatever

Imagine Tony having a panic attack after Infinity War. And he’s calling out for Pepper or anyone and he realizes that they’re all gone. He’s alone. He’s alone, still on the remains of Titan with no one around (sure there’s Nebula but he doesn’t know her), and the ashes of Peter, just the young boy he was a mentor, and a father to, on his hands.

And he just breaks even more.
