So I work at my local library and we have limits right

so my mom (a cosmetologist) wants to try a hairstyle on me that she thinks would be cute

about a year ago i cut my mid shoulder hair short to about a Jim Halpert length (idk how to describe it) and i've been wanting the bottom buzzed the the top to lengthed out (it's hard for me to describe again sorry) and my mom thinks its a good idea and has styles that she wants to try

I haven't gotten to do so because my father said no

To be clear my FATHER won't let me cut MY HAIR

when i asked why he said and i quote "i don't know why you cut it in the first place why don't you just grow it out and be a girl again."

I cut my hair because i wanted change and a major point of annoyance and stress at that point in my life was my hair i could not keep it clean or not matted and gross i rarely brushed it and when i did i didn't do it myself my mom had to and it was painful and stressful

to be clear again im 16 and i have autism and major depression i don't take care of myself that well and espotaly at that point in my life i was at a low getting my hair cut helped me regain confidence and made me happy with how i looked it also got rid of a lot of stress for having to do my hair
