I just told my friend that I'd post on here so, here I go.

Ok, this is probably gonna sound a bit ridiculous or like I'm overthinking but... Why don't women want to date me? I'm not trying to sound like the "I'm not like other guys... I treat women with respect and demand for them to go above and beyond for me" stereotype but like, I really don't get why I've never had a women actually interested in a romantic relationship with me??

Look, I know how this all sounds but I'm truthfully an upstanding gentleman. I make pretty much everyone I know laugh, I'm there for anyone whenever it's needed, I'm great at listening, I'm pretty quick with my responses to texts and such, I even have enough skills and interests to keep you entertained for ages. I just feel like no matter I do, it isn't enough. I try, I really do. The only thing that I can think of that's obvious to me is that I'm overweight, but I can't believe that that's been stopping me for my entire life.

The closest I have ever been to a real relationship is a time when me and a girl from my youth group had mutual crushes on each other. We didn't go anywhere with it though cause I was a freshman when she was a senior. We decided that it might be weird for others if we started something but maaaaan, I kinda wish we had.

Since then I've asked at least three other girls out and despite building a good friendship of varying degrees with each one, they didn't see me as anything more than a friend. The longest I've ever waited to ask a girl out was about 3 or 4 years if I remember correctly, the shortest was a month. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong.

If you have any advice please share it, I really want to be the romantic type but just can't get the opportunity.

Why is it that I'm more of a hit with parents than peers my age??? It doesn't matter if it's at youth group meetings or at prom or almost anything for that matter, adults are always complementing the way I do things but my fellow teens don't give it a second thought.

Bruuuuhhhhhh, why must I be a decent poet but be to embarrassed to be willing to show it? Nobody else knows, this secret is mine, maybe it'll get better with the passing of time. I know that those don't technically sound the same but being close enough to sound good is sorta my game. I type these sentences while wishing I was asleep, I hope they bring you a little bit of glee. I hardly need to think to make these work well, although digitally I know you can't tell. I just added the tags to get this post shown to anyone else in a poetry zone. My other posts aren't really like this, but I hope you were brought a nice sum of bliss.

I dug a whole about 8" deep, filled it with some old clams, scallops, oysters, and stuff of the sort. I did it so that I could get rid of them without having to worry about that smell in my trashcan, and even after all that it was just some shellfish ash hole.

I have a theory on Phineas and Ferb.

As Dr. Doofenshmirtz once said "this summer seems to never end" and I think it's because he made a malfunctioning time machine that froze the tri-state area in summer, he also states at some point in the show that he "thinks [he] would remember making an amnesia-inator." But he did (for reasons I don't know) while trying to fix time and erased the memory of it. The supporting part about messing up the time machine comes in Milo Murphy's Law when it is revealed that Dr. doofenshmirtz does in fact time travel.
