Part 9: Lou and his mother pack their belongings for their trip to see the king. Lou suddenly stops packing. He walks up the mirror and grabs the picture of his father off of it. “What do you think the King will do to us?” he says. His mother looks at him with a worried facial expression. “ I don’t know. I can only hope that they put you in the commoner school system, so that you can learn useful skills like building.” Lou quickly turns to look at his mother in frustration. “But we’re not in that part of the sector. You know what they will do to me”! Lou’s mother grabs him by his shoulders. “I won’t let what happened to Peyton happen to you. My first reaction when I found out the Hunter x Hunter series was coming to Toonami(#cartoonnetwork)was, I hope they did justice to the series when they dubbed it. I became a BIG fan of Hunter X Hunter last year when I watched the full series in Japanese(English Sub). Gon, Killua, and Hisoka were my favorite characters as well as Biscuit, and Kurapika. Part 8: With fear in his heart Lou quickly runs through the forest. As he approaches the edge of the forest he sees his mother from a distance. He smiles with relief as he quickly runs toward her. His smile soon fades as he realizes the other person. Lou quickly runs up to them. “Why are you here?! Crop collection time is not until the evening!” Lou says to the Collector. With a smug look on his face, the collector steps up close to Lou. He glances at Lou’s mother and says, “Its seems your son has a problem of not knowing when to stay in his place.” He looks at Lou with a sinister facial expression as he leans close to Lou’s face. “Go out in the fields and play with your little friends. You have no business being in the elder kin’s conversation.” Lou squints his eyes at the Collector. “And you have no business telling me what I can and can’t do. I work these fields. I’ve done as much as any kin that has lived in these parts. Now tell me. WHY ARE YOU HERE?” said Lou. “Collection came early today since you came up short yesterday”, said the collector. Lou takes off his duffle bag and pushes it into the collector’s chest. “Well here’s the rest. We’ll come up with todays portion LATER TODAY!” The collector chuckles to himself as he gives Lou a sinister look. “You give me double of what you owe in portions by this evening or you and your mother will have to go before the King for judgment. That is unless you pay me by the pound. Since your grown I figured you’d have a stash of crystals saved up.”

For those of you who don't know, a few years ago I created my own cartoon. It didn't turn out as well I wanted because of technical difficulties which made the drawing and animation process harder. As a result the product was sub par at best. I am in the process of revamping the series. Stay tuned, but until then, check out the story I have on this page. Part 7: Lou soars toward the edge of the forest until an unspeakable force suddenly stops him at the edge. WHAM! Lou falls to the ground. As Lou opens his eyes to regain consciousness he notices a tall man hovering over him with a sinister look on his face. “You know better than to venture into these parts PEASANT, but since you’re here I guess I might as well kill you.” The man quickly strikes his sword down into the ground next to Lou’s head. Lou jumps back in fear. The man chuckles to himself and says, “It’s not like you’re worth anything. You’re kind is the BANE of our EXISTANCE anyways. I’m surprised the King kept your kind around this long.” The man chuckles to himself and disappears. Lou quickly turns around to run back into the forest. The man suddenly reappears right in front of Lou. Lou jumps back. The man, who is now levitating, closes in on Lou. “Stay in your lane KID or the next time I see you, I won’t hesitate to kill you.” The man suddenly disappears. With fear in his heart Lou quickly runs through the forest.

Lou finds himself wandering through the forest for an hour before he comes across a tree that has fruit. Lou’s swipes the fruit off a branch of a tree in the forest. As Lou bends over to pick up the fruit, he hears a sound coming from the nearby lake. Curious as to what the sound may be, Lou throws the fruit into his bag and starts walking over to the lake. As Lou walks over to the lake he notices a glaring light coming from the other side of the lake. He suddenly hears whispering voices coming from the trees surrounding the lake. The trees get louder as he gets closer to the lake. Lou stops in amazement when he sees that the light emitting from the lake was coming from a person. The person senses Lou’s presence and quickly dashes for the trees. Lou starts to run towards it. Lou and the person quickly run toward the edge of the forest. The person suddenly picks up speed. Lou propels himself forward to gain momentum. Lou soars toward the edge of the forest until an unspeakable force suddenly stops him at the edge. WHAM!

Part 5: The collector turns around and snatches all of the food off of the table. “Next time you don’t have it, I will get the authorities involved.” He shoves the food into the basket on his back and walks away. Lou rushes over to say “Thank You”. The collector quickly turns around and slaps Lou. He then leans his head down to look at Lou in his eyes. “You mess up again and there won’t be a next time. You here me kid? It won’t be just the authorities you have to deal with. I will personally make sure that you learn a lesson.” The collector quickly walks out the house as he slams the door behind him. Lou’s mother runs to him. Lou’s fist starts to glow as he looks at the door in anger. Lou’s mother quickly grabs him. “Don’t. It’s not worth it.” The next day Lou worked diligently to collect as much food as possible. Lou walks over to his mother, who is picking crops in the field. He throws his duffle bag down by her feet. Lou’s mother stops what she’s doing to look inside the bag. “[Sigh] we still need more”, she said. “More?” said Lou. “ We have to make up for what we could not provide the other day,” said Lou’s mother. Lou thinks to himself for a moment. He turns to look at a near by forest separating the highlands from the Zector(Zone). “I’ll be back,” he said. As Lou walks away his mother says, “Be careful. It can be dangerous if you get to close to the edg-.” “I’ll be fine,” said Lou.

Part 4: Lou stares at himself in front of a broken mirror. He smiles as he glances at a small photo of his father on it. He suddenly holds up both of his hands as he begins to transfer blue flames from one hand to the other. He chuckles to himself. “[Sigh] Lou bring me your stash”, yells his mother. Lou walks into the main room of their small home. As Lou takes the half empty duffle bag off of his back his mother shakes her head. Lou empties the bag of food onto the table next to his mother’s pile of food. Lou’s mother shakes her head again. “This is your second time coming up short,” said Lou’s mother. Lou tilts his head down in shame, “I know.” “What am I supposed to tell the land collectors,” said Lou’s mother. Lou and his mother suddenly hear a loud knock on the front door. They pause and look at each other in fear. Lou’s mother slightly opens the door. The land collector on the other side pushes the door open and quickly walks toward the table. The collector takes a device out of his pocket and scans the items on the table. He turns to glare at Lou’s mother angrily. “This is the second time you’ve come up short”, said the collector. “I though I told YOU TO NEVER COME UP SH-“, said the collector as he turns to slap Lou’s mother in the face. Lou quickly steps in the way and blocks his hand. “Please don’t do this. It was my fault. We’ll have it all for you next time.” The collector squints his eyes as he glances back and forth from Lou to his mother. “You’re lucky your son was here to save you this time.” He glares at Lou angrily. “This is ELDER KIN BUSINESS KID!” He raises his hand as a warning to Lou. “Mess with my crops again and there won’t be a next time!”

Part 3: “Are you coming?” shouts Lou’s mother from a short distance away. Lou turns towards his mother who is standing on a giant purple leaf. “Yes!” Lou grabs his duffle bag off of the ground and quickly runs toward her and jumps onto the leaf.
