Get ready and get excited! This year’s themes for PeterFelicia Week 2020 are now live!
Day 1: Midnight Rendezvous — Moonlighting across the city’s rooftops is just another night in the life of Peter “Spider-Man” Parker and Felicia “Black Cat” Hardy, but what else do they get up to in the twilight hour?
Day 2: Protective — Show off that famed Parker protective streak or how terrifying the Black Cat can be when there’s a threat against someone she loves.
Day 3: Fantasy — For all things mystical, magical, and fantastical! Fairy tales, witches, wizards, sorcery, dragons, sea monsters, mermaids, knights, cursed princes, mysterious strangers, magical cats and sly spiders! Anything your heart desires!
Day 4: Heists — Jewels? Paintings? Secret superhero gadgets? Sparkling treasure? Maybe even a heart or two! Everything is fair game as long as something gets stolen!
Day 5: Noir — Go dark with villain AUs, conspiracies, demons, vampires, murderous thieves, kingpins, queenpins, etc. Or get inspired by classic film noir! If you’re still unsure why not let Marvel help and check out Peter/Felicia in all their 1930′s glory in the Spider-Man: Noir universe. (see: Spider-Man Noir #1-4 and Spider-Man Noir: Eyes Without A Face #1-4)
Day 6: Family — When did they first think of each other as family? How does Peter introduce Felicia to Aunt May or vice versa? Or maybe they have a little spider-kitten of their own! A baby, we’re talking about a baby! Everyone loves a little domesticity right?
Day 7: Free Day — Do you have a great idea that doesn’t fit a theme? This day is for you! Go wild, get creative because anything goes for this slot! Also, if you missed a previous day’s deadline, you can use this one!
Further, we also have some optional general themes! These can be combined with other themes or used on their own. They can be used any day.
Threesome — Friendships, love triangles, or perhaps something a bit more intimate ;) just be sure to add an extra person to spice things up!
Outside Perspective — Close friends, relatives, exes, heroes, civilians, Twitter feeds, the media? Take a step back and think about how Peter/Felicia’s relationship is perceived by the people not in it!
Unrequited — Sometimes there is no happy ending for our favorite couple, maybe we are just stuck with bittersweet yesterdays.
Identity — Secret identities, double identities, identity confusion, and miscommunication! This is the spot for all your identity porn needs, or consider how their respective vigilante/thief identities interplay with each other.
PeterFelicia Week will be held August 3-9, 2020 on Tumblr and Twitter! No sign ups necessary and all fan created content is acceptable ie: fic, art, edits, aesthetics, fanmixes, podcasts, playlists, meta, etc. – as long as they focus on Peter Parker/Felicia Hardy. Just remember to tag your post #peterfeliciaweek in the first five tags!
Still confused on what exactly PeterFelicia Week entails? Read the full announcement post here!
More posting guidelines will be made closer to the time of the event.

I just watched the Spiderman homecoming and i loved it, spidey is always my favorite🕷❤️. Now, i read that (SPOILERS AHEAD 🚨🚨🚨) michelle being MJ is just a homage to the character and she’s not actually mary jane, but i still think it would be so cool to see zendaya with red hair 🙈 and michelle and peter are so cute they remind me of arnold and helga lol. Anyway, such a fun movie and tom is a perfect peter 👏🏼☺️

How to Draw the Head from Any Angle
In this lesson I’m going to attempt to summarize and simplify Andrew Loomis’ approach to drawing the head. I’ve also included my video lesson below in case you want to watch it. Let’s get started!
youtube
The Basic Forms
To draw the head from any angle you must first understand its basic structure. Look past all the distracting details and visualize the underlying forms. This ability to simplify can be applied to the features of the face, but when starting the drawing you could look even further. Ignore even the features and simplify to the most basic form of the head.
The head deconstructed into its basic forms, is a sphere as the cranium and a block as the jaw and cheek bones.

The cranium is spherical, but with flattened sides. So, chopping off a slice from both sides gets us a very close representation of the cranial mass (see video below).
When drawing the head, I’ll start with a ball and draw an oval to indicate the flat side plane. The sizes are important here. Make sure the ball is a perfect circle. Don’t be sloppy. The oval is a bit more tricky. The height will always be the same, no matter what angle you’re drawing the head from. It’s ⅔ of the height of the circle. From the center and top of the circle, divide that area into thirds, and this will give you the top of the oval. Do the same at the bottom.

Finding the Left and Right turn: The width of the oval will depend on the direction the person is looking. Compare the size of the front plane to the size of the side plane. The top portion of the oval falls on the corner of the forehead, where the front plane meets the side plane. This area is usually rounded and so it’s open to the artist’s interpretation. I’ve found that it usually lies near the end of the eyebrow. The line on the front plane represents the brow so pay attention to the angle from one brow to the other.

Finding the Up and Down tilt: The vertical tilt is indicated by an angle along the side plane. If the head is tilted up, the angle will point up and if the head is tilted down, the angle will point down. The degree of the tilt will determine how steep to make this line. I like to use the angle from the ear to the brow.

Then, at the base of the vertical line, draw a curve identical the the brow line. This represents the bottom of the nose. Drawing the same line again from the top of the oval brings you to the hairline.
The face can be broken down into nearly perfect thirds, chin, nose, brow, and hair.

We can use the measurements we’ve already found to find the where the chin should be.

Observe the general shape of the jaw and draw in the major angles starting from the brow and ending at the side plane of the head. It’s usually about halfway into the oval, or a little bit farther back.

Now you have a 3D representation of the head ready for the features :)
You can find a list of lessons on drawing facial features here. You can also watch my lesson on how to draw the head from any angle below.
