Isn't it so crazy the same villain who killed Alfred in front of Damian is also the same villain who sexually assaulted his mother

okay i’m sorry but also not because im not a short damian truther. Like. It’s so popular but it just doesn’t make sense in my mind.

like the average height of a woman globally is 5’3 and Talia is often cited as being 5’7-5’9. Which would put her at 4-6 inches taller than average. For Bruce as well, the global average height of men is around 5’7 and Bruce is 6’2, meaning that he is 7 inches taller than average height. Those are not small numbers.

Plus there is also the fact the Ra’s is like 6’5 which is really tall.

Btw if you use those height calculator things and put in Talia and Bruce’s heights you get adult Damian being anywhere from 6’0-6’2. (Personally i think he’d actually probably be taller than that but like, he would definitely at least be in the Bruce range)

Like Damian would just never be super short in my mind. Maybe when he was little cause i think it’d be funny if he had a late growth spurt but as an adult? he’s tall.

Also like there was a time period closer to when he was introduced in which he was canonically 5’2-5’4 at age 10/11. And while that’s really tall for such a young kid, it makes more sense to me than him being like 4’11 at 14 like some of yall make him.

I find it additionally funny when people say that they think he would take after Talia for height and build as if she isn’t tall as well. Like, she’s not super tall, but she is not short either. I do kind of agree with body type though, i don’t think Damian would be super body builder type muscular. Like maybe later in life when he is like well into adulthood, but in early adulthood he would be more lean muscle most likely. Still strong though, just not ridiculously bulky.

Anyway, basically i have a bias in which i want all my favorites to be like me so Damian must be tall, it is the only logical answer.

In Young Justice,

Jason is brain dead alright? He hasn't been dipped into the pit yet.

He goes along with whatever Talia tells him to.

So one day she really needs to go to a spy mission.

She orders Jason to keep baby Damian safe.

Tell me why this baby starts crawling all over Jason and now Jason is forced to keep baby/toddler Damian on his neck.

Does it hurt? Yes. The guy is brain dead any pressure on his head hurts uncomfortably.

But he doesn't care. The baby looking happy awakens some paternal care on his messed up brain so he leaves the toddler on his shoulders.

He's walking around the League with a toddler on his shoulders. Ra's spits his coffee.

He just does. And because Shiva, Sensei were shown to be in Young Justice, they are there too.

When Shiva watches the boy that thought she was his mother walk around with a toddler she spits her drink.

When did this kid had a kid? Like, she starts side-eyeing Ra's for information.

Like tell me the goddamn tea. Who is that baby?

Ra's purses his lips because no one is supposed to know who Damian is.

Cue to years later when Jason appears on Gotham, destroys empires yada, yada.

Bruce overhears Shiva telling a rando that RedHood is a father.

Bruce was in bad mental state alright? And now he's spiraling even worse. Because what do you mean his not so dead son has a son?

How did this even happen? Isn't he like 18? 19?

Like how?!

That's not the worst part. Alfred legit pulls Bruce up by his shirt and says, you gotta get him home Master Wayne.

So now Bruce has Clark by the arm on a tight grip and lures RedHood out.

Jason is so confused because Bruce Wayne and the reporter showed up. Trying to fight Bruce, his dad, not Batman, feels very different. So he stays put waiting for an explanation.

Clark proceeds to tell Jason the truth. Bruce was going to kill the Joker but Clark stopped him. Bruce is like, Superman was against me, what do you want me to do?

Jason retaliates by saying Bruce still replaced him with another kid.

Bruce says Dick threw the door open and left the kid on his doorstep. The kid was a stalker. He's keeping an eye on a potential villain later in life.

Jason deflates like a ballon.

Then Bruce asks about his son.

Jason is confused.

Jason: What the hell, are you talking about?

Bruce: Your son. Shiva mentioned a green eyed baby.

Jason: That- oh, oh, *he looks down and runs his hands through his hair*

Jason: There is no way- T? Are you listening to this?

Talia: *through the microphone* You are not to tell him a word Jason, not a word

Jason: *turns around and whispers* What am I supposed to say then? He will investigate. He thinks I have a kid who in reality is yours and his!

Talia: Invent something up! I'll fix it later. Tell him it died or something!

Jason: -that it died? I ain't Bruce! *he turns around*

Jason: Ahem, yes. He is my son... yeah.

Grayson: What the fuck? aren't you too young for a kid?

Jason: Hello to you, and I was too young to die too remember?

Bruce: *clears his throat* Alfred would love to have you for dinner... and your son

Jason: *turns around* fuck T they want to see the kid!

Talia: I'll send you Mara instead

Jason: Wtf I am not adopting Mara

Talia: It's not adopting, listen, I can't send Damian you know that.

Jason: fine! Fine!

Jason: *turns around* Yeah... I ah- will bring my kid

Bruce: Great... that's great

I’m reading some Batman comics from the 70s when I got to Detective Comics #411 aka Talia’s debut without realizing!! So here’s my very quick thoughts!

She has bangs??

It looks like she pushed them to the side to make curtain bangs but I was not expecting that!

“Thank the gods” oh man this opens up so many questions about the League. I always assumed they were secular or that Ra’s wouldn’t allow anyone to worship somebody above him so this is really interesting

Absolute glorious first meeting (beyond her nursing him back to health)

She’s studying medicine!! She cries after killing a man who kidnapped her to save Bruce’s life!! What happened to the poor girl (other than stupid writing) to make her the character she is today 😢
