When I was younger, I wish someone had told me straight-up that not all adults experience “a calling”. That many of them never find particular purpose in a career. That sometimes, their job is just what pays the bills and they have to seek satisfaction and fulfillment elsewhere. 

Because as an adult, this pervasive notion that there exists a perfect path for everyone, that people should love what they do, and that work is meant to function as a vehicle for fulfilling a person’s grand life destiny is not only inaccurate for many of us, it can be toxic.

The ideal is so ingrained that I have to remind myself constantly I’m not a failure because I don’t adore my job, and because I’m not rocking the world with my work. That is okay. 

Sometimes, work is just work. There isn’t always a perfect career path, magically waiting to be discovered. There might not be this THING you were born to do. Sometimes, you discover that what you really want to be when you grow up is “paid”.

ive entered this weird place in my life where cis women see me as a cis man and trans women see me as a cis man and it makes it increasingly difficult to show up in trans spaces that are mostly, if not all, trans women

it feels like the same but opposite as growing up being a girl in gym class, surrounded by other girls but not feeling like a girl. like, I'm intruding on a space that I'm not meant to be in?

its so hard to describe and hard to mentally navigate. especially when my transness used to be more visible. idk idk

i watched one (1) video on how to draw hands that changed my life forever. like. i can suddenly draw hands again

these were all drawn without reference btw. i can just. Understand Hands now (for the most part, im sure theres definitely inaccuracies). im a little baffled

I had to consolidate them because theres usually 2 sets of this like archetype of pokemon per game so please vote for the pair you feel strongest about or the pair that your favorite is in.This isnt a precise scientific poll its just for my personal satisfaction I dont think all of these bugs are on route 1 specifically and im unsure about the inclusion of some of them its more just about the ecological niche they occupy the same way that rattata/sentret/zigzagoon/bidoof/patrat and so on occupy the same niche. this also isn't based on the first pokemon in the line specifically you can factor in the quality of the entire line. Helpful chart below for anyone who needs visual reminders of any of them. Pleawse help me understand the opinion of the masses
