He finally admitted that he was jealous and self-centered, but is working hard on himself to be a strong hero to be able to support Deku in the future 💛

and how deku caught up to kacchan during ground beta, when they became equals, but it was also the point where we start to see bakugou trying to catch up to deku instead.

and then we get this…

bakugou literally catching up to deku (ch 322)

and now that they’ve caught up to each other…

they aren’t going anywhere. (ch 323)

bakugou didn’t spend all this time trying to be someone worthy of deku to just leave, to not be next to deku. nah, he’s gonna stay right where he is, thank you very much. (ch 324)

and even when it isn’t his moment to support deku, he’ll always be right by his side. (ch 325)

…and now they’ll go into their final battle together. (ch 326 leaks)

i just love how they’re always next to each other. ever since the apology, there hasn’t been a single chapter where they aren’t by each other’s side, where bakugou isn’t silently supporting deku. and isn’t that just the exact opposite of the early stages of bnha? when bakugou was off making new friends and not focusing on deku for once, but deku was there anyway, ready for kacchan whenever he was?

now deku has bigger things to worry about, more than just bakugou’s apology. they both know they need to talk about it. but bakugou will wait until deku is ready, the same way deku waiting for him for ten years. and in the meantime, bakugou will be deku’s image of strength and victory, the way he always was.
