Guys this is Captain Marley! He’s an axolotl that is as fierce as he is cute. While Marley normally works as a fisherman on a charter as his day-to-day profession, when the need arises, he is also the Captain of a Kaiju Control Fleet. If a monster is out there destroying ships and causing havoc to other people, Marley is the guy they call.

While very good-natured and kind, Marley can be very feisty and persistent. While he’s very sweet with that cute little axolotl grin, he is not someone you want to cross. On the other end of things, however, if you befriend Marley, he is extremely loyal and will fight for you until the end.

Also in the last one with his jammies, he’s shaped like an ouroboros because axolotls are known for regeneration. It’s said Marley has gotten that dagger tattoo at least three times because that arm keeps getting ripped off and grows back!

He is my baby boy and I love him. He will be appearing in the (unnamed) sequel to my debut novel, THE LUSTER OF LIFE.

concept sketch for Velia, a deity I had briefly mentioned in this one-shot. her significance within the story is something of a mystery to Khalan and Aya, and part of their journey through Atria consists of trying to figure out who she is and why she brought them there.

I could've tried to draw more, like a full-body sketch to show that her hair is actually floor-length (a design choice I thought would be cool), but this was all I could do for now :'0

so... I'm adjusting some of Antony's powers because @cookieg122 and I keep reworking Atria's lore in Home Is Where You Are, and this is the result of those changes ><;;

tried to go with a sort of "angel of life and death" vibe with these concepts :0 imo, the sketches turned out kinda nice even tho they're really rough, so I figured I'd share 'em with y'all!

I am astoundingly thankful and blessed to announce that I have signed a contract with Watchful Wizard Publishing to make my dream of 10 years a reality. My YA cozy-fantasy novel, The Luster of Life, is becoming a published book.

Just thought I’d come over on here and officially break the news like I did everywhere else. If you guys want to read an isekai about a little girl getting whisked away to another world to befriend a monstrous showman who lives in a theater, I got you!

Tbh, this book is a culmination of all the things I loved as a kid (and now): creatures, Scary Godmother, Undertale, horror, theatre, folklore, and Studio Ghibli. These were all massive inspiration points for me.

Anyways, no official release date quite yet, so stay tuned! I should know more soon.
