Today I took the boys to the Kidz Power Workshop by Safely Ever After. They learned age appropriate skills and protocol to help them identify, prevent and report sex abuse threats, as well it touched on child abduction. Pattie Fitzgerald was so awesome! . Her presentation was simple, upbeat and NOT scary - if you are SoCal based and haven’t been I highly recommend you organize within your preschool or elementary school friends to bring her in to teach your group. . Yes, I go over some of this stuff with my kids already, but it’s super helpful to have a third party validate it all and, honestly, I learned some way better terminology and explanations than I had been previously using. . . So I’m thinking this is a good arrangement!!? 😂😂 Right? . A night away from the kids is a parent sanity essential! We stopped at the @oaklandzoo on our way home from #sanfrancisco - what a great zoo! I highly recommend on a trip to SF with kids! . .
