reworking my toyhouse profiles

I've been reworking and rewriting my character profiles and updating an embarrassing emount of outdated information! As a result I've privated a few really old and outdated characters that I know I won't be able to get to for a while. This has already been a big undertaking and I'm nowhere close to being done. It all started with me finally making a profile of my lore's timeline, which is still a work in progress but I'm just glad I got the big backstory lore written down somewhere now instead of keeping it all in my head and forgetting important details all the time. lore profile here

I'm currently rewriting Negan's and Marcel's profiles which are two very important characters I've worked on a lot over the years. Finished profiles are Crescere, Silvius and Dominik. Not much but still great progress considering how important they are (to me personally and to the lore).

reworking my toyhouse profiles

Maturing as an original artist means becoming a lot less desperate for people to see your art and like your characters. I used to obsess over the idea of gaining a following of people that care about my OCs and engage with them. It's still AMAZING when somebody shows interest but I don't expect it anymore and that is really nice. I've become a lot more private about posting about their lore and stuff just because what audience do I think I'm doing this for? None. I have toyhouse for spilling the lore so if someone was ever interested in my OCs they can just check that out but I stopped trying to draw in an audience.

(doesn't mean I'm immune to infodumping but I've definitely changed a lot in this department.)

I'm not one to let my OCs age with every passing year but every few years I do in fact make all my OCs a little older just because I realize that what I thought were mature and Adult(tm) ages when I was 16-20 are in fact still a lot younger than how I perceive my characters. The most recent changes are:

Dominik: 24 -> 26

Marcel: 23 -> 25

Alcyone: 23 -> 25

Scarlett: 22 -> 24

Robin: 26 -> 27

Negan: 24 -> 25
