Amelia Jones OC art. Although it’s pretty terrible I still wanted to draw my OC. She is obsessed with Christmas, cups of tea and oversized sweaters and she is also Pansexual.
I learned how to draw the hair and face from this amazing artist’s site called Anime outline which you can find here: https://www.animeoutline.com/how-to-draw-anime-girl-head-and-face/

Hey their wonderful rainbows and welcome to my pinned post!
Tumblr media
Here you will find my current WIP’s as well as a little bit of info about me.
Current WIP:
Miss Claus and me
Synopsis:
When Amelia Jones, the biggest believer in peace, love and joy, begins to question the very reason why she began to believe in the first place, she finds herself swept away into a world that she had always thought was just a childhood dream. Will the princess of her childhood dreams be able to help her to believe again? And more importantly, will she love Amelia the way that she has always loved her?
Current story ideas that I plan to get around too at some point or other.
1- A mermaid and a surfer girl fall in love and make waves together.
2-A WLW werewolfxWitch story that is super fluffy and super fantasy world building stuff.
(Can’t mange words yet with this one but we’ll get there. Probably.)
3-A writer finds her destiny in Scotland, along with an incredibly attractive painter whose she soon finds herself falling head over heals for.
(This one I’m currently writing on and at some point will be turned into a book. Once I fix the plot bunnies.)
A little bit about me:
First thing to know is that I obsess completely over ships, including the ones that I write.
Second thing, I’m also obsessed with warm mugs of tea.
Third, I’ve been writing ever since I can remember and I can never resist the pull of a typewriter or the aesthetic of a very inky pen.
If you’d like to find out more about my WIP’s or even read some of them, feel free to visit me over at good old Wattpad.
Cheers!

A wish come true for Christmas, a wlw short story by… well.. me. Hope you like it! :)
Alice had never longed for something more for Christmas than what she longed for right now. Sure, she had been longing for this particular Christmas wish to come true for years, but the longer she waited, the worse the yearning became until her best friend started calling her crazy for waiting on something that might never come back into her life. Well, more like someone.
"Don't you think your being a little silly Alice?" She asked. "I mean, what are the chances that this girl remembers you, even if you did find her?" Alice sighed and shrugged "Well if she had feelings for me back than, as much as I did for her, than maybe she would remember me still now." Alice said longingly "I know I sound a little crazy, but if there's even a chance that she feels the same way, that she misses me too, than I'd be willing to wait for that."
Maybe Alice's best friend was right, but when Alice was fifteen she had met her first love. She was twenty three now, but she still hadn't given up on the hope of someday finding her again.
It was Christmas Eve on a summer day when Alice had met the girl of her dreams. When you live in Australia you are much more likely to have a tropical Christmas than a white one, but Alice had always liked it that way. To her it was just a different kind of magic, one which she would take over the cold snow any day.
She had been spending time with her family at the beach, building sand castles and running about when she had accidentally bumped into the most beautiful girl she had ever seen. Alice could even remember the exact dress she had worn when the girl had caught her in her arms. Alice soon learned that the young girls name was Clara, and that her family was staying in the same caravan park as her own!
The two of them ended up spending the entire rest of the week together, dancing wildly to music, exploring the beach, and Clara had even made Alice a necklace out of sea shells that Alice had still kept close to her heart to this day.
Clara was very adventurous, and Alice loved that. She would take her exploring along the beach, and even taught her how to climb the sand dunes safely. When Alice got scared, Clara was always there to cheer her on, like that one time when she had fallen off one of the biggest dunes on the beach.
"Alice are you ok?!" Clara had exclaimed as she began climbing down towards her friend. "N-no I'm scared!" Alice whimpered, the drop to the ground was at least ten metres away still and she didn't want to fall all the way down there! She was clinging to the edge of the steep dune with her feet and hands punched deep into the sand to try to gain some grip. "Just stay right there, I'm going to help you get to the ground safely, ok?" Clara asked, and Alice just cried. When Clara had made her way to Alice she told her get on her back and Clara had piggy backed her all the way down to the ground.
"Thank you for saving me!" Alice thanked her dearest friend as she hugged her tight, Clara smiled. "Of course! I'll always save you Ali." She replied, use of her nickname fondly. Clara wiped Alice's tears with her hands. "I'll never let you fall." She added as they began to walk back to the caravan park.
By the time the end of the week came around , the two of them had grown so close that they knew it would be very hard for them to part. Alice had thought that Clara was meant to be leaving a little while after her own family did, she had thought that there would be time to say goodbye, but when she went to do just that, she discovered that Clara and her family had already left. They had left without a single trace and Alice hadn't even been able to get Claras number. She was devastated.
Alice never really did get over her first love. Sure, there had been flings here and there, but she had never gotten as close to the feeling of being truly, deeply, and magnificently in love with someone like she had when she'd met Clara.
Alice had tried to find her long lost love, on numerous occasions she could be found searching on the internet to see if she might pop up, but alas she was a ghost and besides, Alice didn't want to be a stalker! There was always a chance that even if she did get to meet the girl of her dreams again, that Clara might not even feel the same way as Alice did. At least that's what the logical side of Alice's brain tried to tell her, but she could never quite convince her heart to stop pining.
Alice was an interior designer. She had moved to the coast, near where she had met Clara, and  she'd been obsessed with the beautiful beaches there ever since. Alice took inspiration from the colours and the things that she found washed up on the beach like sea glass, drift wood and shells. She would use those materials to make all sorts of things that eventually wound up as tutorials on the diy section her blog. She had actually made quite a name for herself in the industry, but she didn't do it for that. She did it because she loved it, and although she did get a little lonely sometimes with no one to spend Christmas with, collecting bits and bobs along the beach usually made her feel a little bit better. That's where Alice had decided to go to spend her Christmas that year. She would spend it on the beach, in this adorable, secret, little spot that her and Clara had found when they were young, right where those sand dunes where. Not many people knew about the place, which made it the perfect area to reminisce and to wonder where in the world her first love might be.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Clara had been very busy that year. She had been teaching kids and young adults how to hike, climb, kayak, and other outdoorsy things. Of course she loved her job, she had always had a love for the outdoors so she was very grateful to be able to spend so much time outside during her work hours, but she was tired and she knew that she needed a break. It was at that time of year, so close to christmas, that she always remembered another time. A time when she was a kid.
She had gone on holiday with her family when she was sixteen and had met the most adorable and beautiful girl in the world. Clara was twenty four now and unfortunately she had lost contact with the girl she had loved. She hadn't even gotten to ask for her contact details, which Clara regretted very much.
Although she was just a kid and she had only known the girl for a week, she still missed her and knew in her heart that if they had stayed in contact they would have stayed friends forever, and they might have even become something more. But there was no hope for that now, because Clara had tried to find her but had given up when she had had had no luck. She wasn't even sure what her long lost friend would look like now, so she knew there was no point in wishing to reunite. But that didn't stop her from secretly doing so anyway. What Clara could remember most about the girl was her adorable personality, but also her hair! She had the most beautiful golden strands with a few little curls throughout that brought out the strikingly blue colour of her eyes. She would always get so excited about the smallest of things, like the time when Clara had made her a necklace out of the shells they had found together on the beach...
"I made this for you" Clara had said, as her cheeks reddened and she wondered whether or not her crush would like what she had made her. Alice squeaked. "You made me a necklace!?" she asked, but before Clara could answer she had her arms full of a very happy girl. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love it so much! Did you make it out of the shells we collected?" Alice asked and Clara confirmed that she had. Alice pulled back from their hug and looked at Clara very seriously. "Really Clara, thank you. I love it so much and I promise that I will keep it forever, that way it will always remind me of you and this time we spent together."
Clara missed how excited she got, she just really missed Alice. "I wonder if she still has the necklace, wherever she is." Clara thought, but wherever Alice was, she had probably forgotten about Clara years ago. In fact Clara was being very silly, reminiscing over someone she had only known when she was ten. But she just couldn't help it, she still loved her.
Well.
I wanted to make something cosy. I wanted other people in our glorious rainbow community to have something super cheesy and so dang fluffy to read that it would make their hearts melt.
Not sure if I have achieved this yet but I’m sincerely working on it, so let me know what you think!
Here’s the synopsis and the link:
A/N Hey everyone, check out this cute little wlw one shot I wrote for a Christmas comp over on Wattpad. Credit for the prompt goes to Romance Contests over on Wattpad if you wanna check them out, the links at the end of this story.
Miss Cupid for Christmas
Lia had been crushing on Juliette for what seamed like forever.
Juliette was just so funny and kind, and Lia had always loved that about her. But Juliette was one of the most popular girls at school and Lia, well Lia was the nerd that no one ever seamed to notice.
Besides Lia wasn't exactly out of the closet at her high school... and she didn't even know if Juliette even liked girls.
Lia shivered as a cool breeze blew the snow towards her, causing her to hide even more of herself into her favourite fandom themed hoodie.
It featured a quote from one of her favourite books. Lia aspired to become a writer someday herself but she was always worried that she wouldn't be good enough.
Christmas was fast approaching and Lia knew that it was going to be another awful holiday full of sappy couples, mistletoe, and romance... but none of those things would include her.
She was beginning to think that she was destined to become an old cat lady, except instead of cats she'd have dogs, because in her opinion dogs where always better.
It was five days before Christmas that changed everything for Lia.
She had gone out with a new book in hand, and her glasses on her head, to the same cafe that she had visited almost every day on her winter break.
The reason that she choose this cafe in particular had absolutely nothing to do with her crush working their.
Absolutely nothing at all....
But she still could not help but to look up from her book every now and than to see her.
Today she was humming. Christmas carols.
This girl was perfect, she was smart, she was funny, and now she could sing too?! Lia felt like she might just swoon if she kept crooning, in fact Juliette could serenade Lia any day, Lia wouldn't mind at all.
Dang I wish I could draw my OC’s!
I mean I draw some things for my books, but I suck big time at character art. If I could draw characters I would soooooo make a comic.
Anyways, instead here’s a little doodle of the necklace my OC Amelia gets given by her first love in Miss Claus and Me (My super gay lesbian love story)
P.s please don’t re-post or copy my art without permission.
Clara thought, but wherever Alice was, she had probably forgotten about Clara years ago. In fact Clara was being very silly, reminiscing over someone she had only known when she was ten. But she just couldn't help it, she still loved her.
Clara had decided a few weeks ago that she deserved and needed a decent break from work, so even though she had no one to spend christmas with, she decided to take herself a holiday. Her heart had drawn her to the coast so that she could visit the beach where she and her first love had met. She knew it was silly of her, that it wasn't as if by visiting that particular beach her long lost love would magically appear, but even if Clara couldn't see Alice there, at least she could still enjoy the time off in a place that she loved.
Once her flight had landed Clara stopped for a moment in the airport to pick up the new edition of the outdoor adventure magazine she had always read. While she was looking at the shelves that held the products, she noticed, out of the corner of her eye, someone she thought that she knew. When she had drawn closer and picked up the magazine, Claras mouth dropped. On the cover of the product she held, was someone who looked exactly like an older version of Alice, her long lost crush. Clara took a moment to remember to breathe and than she flipped to the pages the cover told her to. There she found another picture of the girl who looked so alike her first love, and to Claras surprise, the article even said that her name was Alice! It said that she lived near the beach that Clara and her friend had once met on and that she was now an interior designer, which must have been why she was in the magazine. Clara bit her lip and wondered if the girl in the magazine could possibly be the very same girl she had been longing to meet again since she was a teen. She didn't want to let herself believe that it could be her, she didn't want to feel the bitter sense of disappointment if it wasn't, but god did she want to see her first love again.
Clara forgot about the magazine she had gone into the shop to buy, and instead bought the one with the look-a-like in it. After that she found a place to sit down so that she could re-read the article to see if she could pick up anything she may have missed the first time she read it. She did. At the bottom of the second page was a website which must have been the girls. The resemblance between them was amazing, she had the same golden, curly hair, and the same beautiful blue eyes. It just had to be her.
Clara was getting excited now, she could barely contain her nerves as she typed the websites address into her phone. Clara spent a good hour or so looking through the beautiful things that this girl had made and put on her website. It took a while before Clara could get up the courage to call the number that was provided for customers to call, but it was getting towards the end of the day so if she was going to do it, she knew that she would have to do it now.
So she did and to her dismay the person who answered wasn't Alice, but once Clara had told the girl on the phone that she thought she might be an old friend of Alice's, the lady who said she was Alice's assistant, was very kind to her and had even said that she'd be happy to give Clara her address. Clara was fairly sure that the assistant wouldn't have usually been allowed to give out such information, but she was very grateful for her help. Clara's nervous/excitement was growing by the minute, even if it wasnt Alice, she knew that she would regret it if she didn't at least ask. So she jumped in a taxi, told them the address the assistant had given her, and crossed her fingers tightly. "Please let it be her, I just want to see her again" She whispered, and she wished with all her might, hoping with every bit of her heart that she would get to meet her first love once again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Even though it was christmas eve and not christmas, Alice had decided to go for a walk to the secret beach where her and her long lost love had first met. She was planning to go on christmas day, but there was no reason why she couldn't go than as well. Besides she really wanted to get some photos of the sunset for her website. So Alice packed her shoulder bag with her camera, and then she had began to make her way towards the beach. Little did she know that the person she had been waiting for since she was fifteen was on her way to find her.
When Alice got to the beach she saw the beginnings of a beautiful sunset, but she knew that she didn't have the vantage point she wanted so she looked around to try and find a rock she could climb to get a better shot, but she found something even better. She began to climb the massive sand dune the way that Clara had taught her when they were kids. Alice was fairly sure that it was the very same sand dune that she had once almost fallen off of, but it was worth it to get the photos, and besides she was sure that she wouldn't fall...at least she hoped that she wouldn't. By the time Alice started to become a lot more scared of falling off the giant lump of sand, she was already half way up. It was when she tried to look down to see how far away from the ground she was that she began to fall. She did exactly what she did when she was a teen, she dug her hands and feet into the sand to try and get a better grip, but once she did she just stayed there, she had no idea how she was going to get out of this. After what was probably about ten minutes, Alice started to worry that she might never get down without help, so she pushed away her embarrassment began to call for help. She just hoped that despite the beaches fairly secret location, somebody might hear her. Thankfully it wasn't long before she heard someone's voice.
Twenty minutes earlier
When Clara got out of the taxi and saw the house, she took in a deep breath. "Ok Clara, you've got this! If its her its her, if its not...well at least you did the brave thing and asked." she told herself, but it didn't help her to feel any less nervous. Clara walked up the small winding path towards the front door. The house was white with pale blue trimming and the front door was made out of glass that had a circular pattern carved into it. It was a nice place and Clara imagined that it must have been even nicer on the inside, with Alice being an interior designer and all. When Clara finally worked up the courage, she held her breath as she knocked on the door.
There was no answer, so she knocked again, this time a little louder.
Two minutes later, there was still no answer. "Just one more time." Clara encouraged herself as she knocked for a third and final time. Yet again no answer came and Clara sighed as her shoulders drooped. "Well I guess that's it than." She muttered under her breath, feeling as if the whole world had ended around her. She sighed again as she began to walk back down the path to where she could call another taxi, but as she was walking she noticed that her surroundings looked familiar, and then she realised why. She was only about a five minute walk away from the caravan park she had once stayed in. The very same one where she had met Alice when they were teens. Through realising this Clara also remembered that the private little beach her and Alice used to visit a lot when they were young, was also just a short walk away. Clara Ignored the fact that she didn't know if there was enough beach there to not get completely covered at high tide and she decided to check it out.
When Clara began to get closer to the beach that she had missed so much since she was a kid, she could have sworn that she heard someone's voice. She looked around but she couldn't see anyone and it was weird because the beach she had remembered hadn't been a crowded place, in fact hardly anyone seemed to have known it existed when she was a teen, but maybe things had changed now. Clara thought, as she continued to walk towards the sound, but as she got closer her stomach dropped when she realised that whoever's voice it was, was calling out for help. That's when Clara started to run towards the sound, hoping that she wouldn't be too late to help them. When she got there she looked around to find the source of the noise, only to find a golden-haired girl clinging to one of the sand dunes on the beach. Clara spared a quick glance at the water and noted that it was rolling in. She would have to act fast.
"Are you ok up there?" Clara yelled out, the girl replied saying that she was stuck and Clara knew what she had to do. "Ok, I'm coming up to help you down, just hold on!" She yelled as she began the steep climb. Meanwhile Alice was beginning to feel a rather large sense of deja vu, as if this had all happened before... and in a way it had, except now, instead of her first love coming to save the day, it was somebody else entirely. A stranger that Alice didn't yet know, but already felt very grateful towards.
It wasn't long before Clara had reached the girl with the golden hair, she did teach people how to climb for a living after all. "Ok, it's going to be alright, do you think you'd be able to get on my back? That way I could carry you down." Alice gulped as she looked at her rescuer, and as soon as they met eyes Alice's breath was taken away, she was so beautiful! The girl who had come to save her had big brown eyes, black hair that had been put into two adorable braids, and the cutest nose she had ever seen, well apart from her first loves nose of course, but ha, they were actually kind of similar. Alice thought, but she didn't have much time to think any more about how beautiful her rescuer was because the longer she waited the less grip she had in the sand. "I-I think I could do that but won't I be to heavy?" Alice tentatively asked. "Not at all, and I promise I won't drop you." her savior replied and Alice began to get on the girls back. She wrapped her arms and her legs tightly around her and closed her eyes as they started the steep climb down.
Once they had gotten to the ground, the rescuer helped to set Alice down, but Alice had yet to open her eyes, which were still tightly closed. "It's ok, you can open your eyes now, we made it." Clara said sympathetically, and Clara did just that. For a moment they both just stared at each other and Clara knew who she was. She was the girl from the article she had read, the one who was an interior designer, the one who looked exactly like the girl she had fallen in love with so many years ago. Clara wanted to ask, to ask if she was her Alice, but she couldn't find the words. Her eyes searched up and down the blue eyed girl, and when they came to her neck Clara's eyes widened. The girl was wearing a seashell necklace, one that Clara would know from anywhere, because she was the one who had made it. She gingerly lifted her hand and reached out her fingers to gently touch the string of ocean treasures. Alice sucked in a breath. She knew now where she had recognised this girl from. It was because she had looked so much like the girl Alice had fallen for when she was fifteen. She had the same beautiful black hair, the same brown eyes, and the same adorable nose!  But it couldn't be, surely that would be too magical, to amazing of a thing to happen to her, no matter how many times she had wished for this very moment to occur.
It was Clara who first broke the silence. "I-Is it really you?" She asked, looking deeply into Alice's eyes which had begun to sparkle with tears that threatened to fall at any moment. "I-It can't be..." Alice replied "Clara? I-Is that actually you?" she asked in return and Clara began to grin. "Yes! And your Alice? My Ali? The one that I met when I was young?" She asked excitedly "Yes, yes that's me! Oh you have NO idea how long I've looked for you!!" Alice exclaimed delightedly as she jumped up and down, but once she realised what she had admitted her cheeks turned as red as freshly picked apples on a summer day. Clara just chuckled and pulled her into a massive hug. "Believe me, your not the only one. I've been searching for you too!" Alice relished the warmth of Claras body heat. "R-Really?" She meekly asked. "Of course." Clara replied. "I missed you more than you could know." But before Alice could say that she had missed Clara just as much, she let out a shriek as she suddenly felt water surrounding her legs. Clara remembered from her childhood that Alice wasn't the best swimmer and that she was scared of water. "It's ok, I'll get you out of here, is it ok if I pick you up?" Clara checked and Alice meekly nodded. Clara picked her up bridal style and began to walk towards the path that led away from their hidden beach. It was a hard walk, just as it always was when you had to walk through water, but they got there before the water could reach Claras Waist.
When she put Alice down, she was blushing up a storm. "T-Thank you for saving me...twice. W-Well actually three times if you count when we were kids..." Clara chuckled and shrugged. "I'm just so glad that I was there to help, and I'll always do my best to save you Ali." She replied and Alice blushed even more. Alice knew that if there was ever an appropriate time to confess her true feelings, it was now. She finally had Clara back beside her and she didn't want to regret not saying anything in case she was planning to leave. After all, they hadn't seen each other for years, and she might have only saved her because it was the right thing to do. She probably wasn't interested in starting anything back up again with Alice, and Alice was terrified that she wouldn't feel the same way as she did, but she had to try. She just had to.
"Can I tell you something?" Alice asked, as she tried to be strong for the conversation she was about to have. Clara frowned at the worried look on her first loves face. She hoped that she wasn't about to ask her to leave, or to tell her that she didn't want anything to do with her, since she hadn't seen her for years and didn't know her now. "Uh, yeah sure, what is it?" Clara replied hoping that whatever it was, it wasn't bad. "W-Well the truth is that I um....I may have been a little in love with you as a kid...ok... maybe a lot." Alice mumbled but before Clara could react to this, she continued her monologue "A-And I might have never actually gotten over you since you may have kinda been my first and well...my only real love ever since..." Alice only stopped to take in a deep breath before continuing on. "But it's totally fine if you have never felt anything like that for me, I'll understand! You will probably think that I'm a creep or something but I promise you I'm not! I-I just...well I..." But before Alice could finish her sentence Clara had lifted her chin up to look into her eyes, and only said one thing in reply to her speech. "May I kiss you?" She asked, and Alice's eyes went wide as she nodded. At that Clara swept her into her arms and kissed her passionately.
When the two finally pulled apart, they were both grinning ear to ear.
Eventually Alice was the one to speak up first. "Thank you for hearing it." Clara raised a brow "Hearing what?" she asked as Alice snuggled into yet another hug. "For hearing my christmas wish." She whispered.
"Thank you for granting mine." Clara replied, and she knew that from that moment on, she would do everything she could to make the beautiful girl in her arms feel special, loved and protected, because she loved her. She always had, and for as long as Alice would allow, she always would.

Very much so agreed. It has been a long time coming and we so deserve the fluff!!
Tumblr media
We all damn well know that Yun Sol is not a crier. So for her to have tears in her eyes while telling Jiwan that she likes her, and that she won‘t do anything about it and then APOLOGIZING because she has fallen in love with her best friend, just gives so much more depth to her character. It is clear that Sol has been pining after Jiwan for so long and now she is terrified that she is losing her forever because Jiwan might not feel the same. Damn, i could feel the hurt through the screen...
And Jiwan, still not fully understanding her feelings but knowing that Sol is the most important person in her life. And her saying that she won‘t take back her confession and that she meant EVERY word of it.
Honestly, what a time to be alive. Their story and interactions are so well written. We deserve it. We deserve to have this kind of representation!

Something cute and full of fluff from Miss Claus and Me, my current WIP.
"Um Amelia..."
She asked nervously as the other girl got out of the bed and readied herself for their journey ahead.
"Hmm?" She asked.
"Is that a reindeer face on your sweater?"
She asked. Amelia must have taken off her jacket in the night.
Amelia blushed and shrugged.
Eve chuckled.
"It's adorable."
She murmured, but as soon as she had realised that she had said it, she quickly added.
"I-I mean I love it, I'd totally wear that too."
Amelia could feel her cheeks getting hotter.
"You can wear it anytime Eve." She shyly replied.
Eve had to admit to herself that she definitely wouldn't mind wearing something of Amelia's but before her face could burn down the building, the fairy who had been patiently waiting outside came back in.
