Here’s a song for you. 

I know right now is only just the beginning

but its felt like the beginning for such a long time. I would of thought by now that some things would have changed but I’ve slowly figured out that in order to inspire that change, that I need to change. Not just me but in what I do. My routine, my persistence isn’t persistent enough. 

I know one day I will get there but some days are harder than others. Tomorrow I will sweat and play piano till my hands cramp. I know it will be worth it. 

Just to play on stage again with the confidence I had before.

NINAREED - FIRE

I have an amazing friend, Nina Sung who is the vocalist on this video who made this with her co-collaborator Reed and they just turned out this AMAZING futuristic sci-fi music video. They’ve been working on this for almost 6 months I believe and this video turned out so great. 

The story reminds me something out of Blade Runner or Alternate Carbon on Netflix. The graphics are amazing, basically you just need to watch this video.

They’re based out of the west coast and I swear if they doesn’t get famous off of this, there is something seriously wrong with the world.

Wtf is Booth Bish?

Aye yo gurl, welcome to my blog. I have started at least 10 blogs in my lifetime and I’m hoping this one sticks. I wanted an outlet to promote my friends music along with the crazy f*cking journey I have been on as a female producer. Also I want to primarily promote my female/female identifying/ & trans friends who are working hard af to get their music heard and to promote the projects they’re working on. 

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

1. I am a female DJ, Producer, Musician (Piano), and Vocalist in Alaska. (Its cold af here, and no I don’t live in an igloo but it would be cool to DJ in one)

2. I am apart of a group called Nap Girls, its where I get all my mystical female powers. Napgirls.com 

3. I am a recording academy member through the Grammy U program.

4. My ultimate goal as an artist is to promote positivity, fun, and happiness. I one day would like to run my own record label, tour with my music (if I can ever finish a track), and inspire other women to make their own music! Anything is possible! 

Why did I call my blog Diary of a Booth Bish?

80% of the time when I go to play a gig, I get called a booth bish by dudes who don’t know that I’m there to DJ. I think its hilarious because I just hop on decks and they freak out like “OMG IS SHE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING THAT?” Or I get asked if I’m someones girlfriend. 

Let it be known I actually haven't DJ’d since November of last year because I have been working on becoming a better vocalist and piano player but I am always down to spin a track! 

I really hope you guys enjoy my thoughts, tracks, and definitely would love to hear what you’ve got if you're an artist! :)
