All I can do is watch

It pains me to hear unbearable lies and hurtful attacks; realising I’m standing alone.

I watch as the crowd gathers around my fiend in sorrow with hurtful eyes towards me. I’m asking why, why can’t I just have one person beside me when you have ten.

I feel alone and betrayed, for among the crowd of evil eyes is my friends I’ve once stood right beside. I ask them why, they yell aloud: sure your fine, but the fiend of yours we value more you know for sure.
