push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5:30am. go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise. 2. push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable. 3. erase processed food from your diet. start with no lollies, chips, biscuits, then erase pasta, rice, cereal, then bread. use the rule that if a child couldn’t identify what was in it, you don’t eat it. 4. get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms in real butter and garlic, fry an egg, slice up a fresh avocado and squirt way too much lemon on it. sit and eat it and do nothing else. 5. stretch. start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. roll your head. stretch your fingers. stretch everything. 6. buy a 1L water bottle. start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice. 7. buy a beautiful diary and a beautiful black pen. write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. no detail is too small. 8. strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. put a massive scoop of scented fabric softener in there and wash. make your bed in full. 9. organise your room. fold all your clothes (and bag what you don’t want), clean your mirror, your laptop, vacuum the floor. light a beautiful candle. 10. have a luxurious shower with your favourite music playing. wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck. 11. push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphones, go to the beach and walk. smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back. bring your dog and observe the dog’s behaviour. realise you can learn from your dog. 12. message old friends with personal jokes. reminisce. suggest a catch up soon, even if you don’t follow through. push yourself to follow through. 14. think long and hard about what interests you. crime? sex? boarding school? long-forgotten romance etiquette? find a book about it and read it. there is a book about literally everything. 15. become the person you would ideally fall in love with. let cars merge into your lane when driving. pay double for parking tickets and leave a second one in the machine. stick your tongue out at babies. compliment people on their cute clothes. challenge yourself to not ridicule anyone for a whole day. then two. then a week. walk with a straight posture. look people in the eye. ask people about their story. talk to acquaintances so they become friends. 16. lie in the sunshine. daydream about the life you would lead if failure wasn’t a thing. open your eyes. take small steps to make it happen for you.

Hey my beautiful followers! I am currently in the process of writing up my own 6 & 8 week Bikini Body Challenge! Including meal plans, recipes & exercise guide!
I currently have no formal qualifications. I do however have a lot of experience with lifestyle changes, and I have gathered a lot of knowledge during my weigh loss journey.
I am looking for people who would be willing to be my test subjects. This would mean I would give you a copy of my Bikini Body Challenge for free! All I ask in return is that you provide me details of your progress, results and any improvements or suggestions you have!
If you would be interested in this please: 1. Re blog this post. 2. Follow & DM me on Instagram (@larakelly93)
The plan won’t be ready for about 4 weeks, but I need about 30 or 40 people who would be willing to commit to trying my product and helping me make it the best I possibly can!

How Running Works
1. Go running. 2. Feel like a majestic gazelle. 3. Return home, eat everything.
Alternatively,
1. Go running. 2. Everything is awful and your lungs/muscles refuse to suck it up and work better. 3. Return home, eat everything.

So you’re in bed. You’re snug. You’re cosy. You don’t want to get out ever! But here’s 9 yoga poses to help your sleepy self get up. 1. Savasana- just chill for a bit and breath deeply and enjoy that sun streaming in 2. Cobra- stretch that back like the crazy cat you are 3. Extended child’s pose- now stretch your back the other way. Your covers come off too. Magic! 4. Camel pose- now sit on your knees and throw your arms back to your toes like some sort of shawshank redemption prison break. 5. Forward bend- now stand up on those sexy pins and try not to fall off the bed 6. Pigeon pose- almost there. Are you smiling yet? You should be you sexy minx bird of paradise 7. Seated forward fold- touch your toes! Wiggle them and giggle at your cuteness 8. Kneeling side plank variation- stretch that delish body of yours and try not to blind yourself at how radiant you are 9. Meditation- don’t think just yet. Just enjoy that beautiful stillness
Now step off that cosy bed of yours and sashay the fuck out of bed. Namaste.

So I was at the gym a few days ago and I saw this woman working out. Now I try to ignore other people in the gym because I feel like working out is personal time. But as I was slogging my way through a lazy run and thinking about how I was going to finish early so my face could de-red before I left, I saw this woman. Now realistically, she was little bit heavier than me and a little bit less fit, so I was running faster, with less effort. But I kept seeing her on the rowing machine and the cycle and all over the gym, working so much harder than me! Being super competitive, I pulled my head in and stopped paying attention to her and focused on running. Anyway, that lady is a champ and has no idea she’s made my training better.
I’ve seen her a few times now and I’m always giving her a mental cheer! If I ever see her not working out super hard, I’ll see if I can buy her a coffee!

Took the time to cook my oats on the stove top! Almond milk, peanut butter, berries and oats, topped with sunflower seeds. Delish!

Weigh in says I'm down to 71.9kg! If I can keep that off (that is, if it's not just a fluctuation) I will be so happy! That's 8 kilos down from the beginning of the year. If I can get to 10 kg down, I'm treating myself to a haircut and maybe see if I can fit into a nice new pair of jeans! Getting under 70kg was my initial goal when I started losing weight a million years ago. The thought that it's so close is tortuous! I really do think that once I pass it, I'll need to join a boot camp or something to get the momentum for the 5 kilos after that. That will be the hardest bit for me, I think. So exciting!

I did it! I remembered (barely) to photograph my main meals! Had my first taste of quinoa flakes this morning... I'm not convinced. Probably needs more sweetener - I only put raspberries in. Lunch was a barley wrap pizza! It was the brown wrap with garlic, and tomato paste, topped with tomatoes, grated Parmesan and spinach. I ate it too quickly and forgot my pic :P Dinner was a packaged pumpkin and sweet potato soup because I'm working lates. Not pictured are many coffees and the banana I'm considering for dessert.

When you screw up, skip a workout, eat bad foods, or sleep in, it doesn’t make you a bad person. It makes you human. Welcome to the club. There’s like seven billion of us.

Work breakfast! For when I'm the disorganised person I'm naturally inclined to be, there's the Carman's single serve museli, my work soy and a sneaky coffee. Not a bad start to my Monday! In other news, it's my anniversary this Friday and I'm getting a ridiculous bodycon dress to wear to dinner. Exciting! Have a good day!

So I tried weighted squats and lunges, as well as lying leg curls on Wednesday. It's Friday. My butt still hurts.

I keep meaning to post a full day’s intake but I always forget! This was breakfast yesterday- overnight oatmeal with almond milk and berries. Oatmeal apparently lowers bad cholesterol, so I’m on board!
That second photo was my walk home on Monday. Melbourne is stupidly pretty sometimes!
My body is tired and sore from the gym, but I’m going back again tonight. Gotta get back in the habit! I’m thinking of leaving extra workout gear at my girlfriend’s place so I have no excuse even at hers :P

Painful workout today- but I got there!
Just a reminder: A short run is better than no run. A slow run is better than no run. A bad run is always better than no run.

Lunch is better when it's adorable! My girlfriend made me a chickpea and spinach salad in a super cute lunchbox for work. She got me a green cold press juice as well! She's pretty cute.
