 “Everybody wants some, I want some too”!!!!  
When others notice you are sharper and more on the ball, they want some too.  I know thru all my research that they need to know what you are doing to feel great.  This is the most effective marketing tool in existence.  The way you are perceived is a huge thing and if whatever you are doing to make things in your life appear greater, you simply must share.  It is a wonderful thing to see a woman who was struggling with her weight and she has noticeably lost some and suddenly has a smile.  9 times out of 10 people will be lining up to ask her what is it that she has done to achieve success.  Then when she starts getting this attention she will get better and better which was the point.  There is a chain reaction that happens when one woman decides to lose weight she will make every single woman around her evaluate themselves and somehow get on the bandwagon.  What I mean is she will go and do some legwork to find a plan for herself she secretly wants positive attention.  So having said that get some gumption and be the one that does it. We all have cravings for food but most of what we crave is sugar substances.  We love a great steak or fried chicken but the chocolate cake is what we are really waiting for.  This is what happens:
1. You eat the sugar substance,you like it and you crave it for the future. Your brain remembers the feeling you get which triggers the addictive properties.
2.  Blood sugar levels spike, Dopamine is released in the brain = addiction. Mass insulin is secreted to drop blood sugar levels.
3. Hunger and cravings, Low blood sugar levels increase appetite and cravings. 
4. Blood sugar levels drop rapidly, high insulin levels cause immediate fat storage. Body craves the sugar high.  Thus the cycle is repeated.

Do you think you could go back to the way it was pre-smart phone and Facebook days.  No You tube or Netflix and the only way someone could reach you was if you were at home.  It seems crazy right?  We lived without those things for as long as time. The moment those tech items and services came into our lives we couldn’t imagine living without them. Remember we had 6 channels on the television and the only way to watch a movie at home was to see one on TV.  If you were really lucky you had a beta-max which was a real luxury in those days.

So do you think you could go without any tech devices or services for 48 hours?  Where would you start? I guess by un-gluing the smartphone from your hand and set up a way of communication like an analog phone line.  No computers you’ll have to resort to a type writer.  The biggest vice we will have to give up FACEBOOK. We should send a letter in stead of emailing and trolling social media for interaction.  We will actually have to talk to other people which seems weird.  If you want to contact someone you’ll have to remember the phone number or write it in an address book.  
After committing to the 48 hours without technology and putting away what you use most often you get your mind right.  Remember how you used to get thru your day before the tech takeover. Dig out that old Rolodex and planner get ready to write things down and look at clocks for the time.

We know that both Pharmaceuticals and Herbal Supplements are big business.  Americans spend tons of money on these products per year, to be exact its about 200 Billion dollars on Drugs and 20 Billion dollars on Natural supplements.

 Medicine cabinets in all of our houses are packed with both.  We choose these products based on problems we have diagnosed ourselves with or a Doctor that gave us a script for.  We have conflicting ideas about which one is better for us.  Some like the pharmaceuticals simply because they are under a Doctors care.  Then there is the select individuals that prefer to use herbal or natural products.  The differences are huge, say I got a prescription for Adderall and then a brain supplement which has about the same results.  The Adderall is going to have side effects that the supplement doesn’t.  Then the Adderall is going to possibly be stronger with habit forming qualities and supplements will not.  Some like to take the natural alternative because it may give long term results as a prescription will not.  The supplement alternative adds to overall health and wellness and the drug could cause damage if taken long term. I think that if you feel the need for the supplement or the drug we should weigh out the options based on our own health situation.

Do you find yourself engaged in conversations that are going nowhere?  Do you look for things in your home and can’t seem to find them?  Do you enter a room and forget what your doing in there? You probably suffer from “brain drain.”

                                                  Keep Going
As much as we think we have had enough or we have used up all our energy on something.  We still have a little bit left in us to keep on going.  We stop to fast we give up too soon and it’s because we can’t see where it leads.  The fact of the matter is the last bit of push we have in us pushes us to success. Whether it be in business or weightlifting, building something, running etc.  If we only knew to keep going just a bit more so we could see what success looks like.  The times that we seem to keep pushing towards something is when we have nothing else.  You have all heard the stories of the entrepreneur that lost everything in a divorce or lost a job.  Only to build something from nothing and he build it because he had nothing and wouldn’t take no for an answer. He sold the stuff on street corners cooked out of his moms kitchen slept in his car.  You know all the things that happens. 
 How do we harness that passion for success without losing everything?  We have to be hungry for it that's how.  If you really want to get something in your life and continue to fight or continue towards it you will have it.  I personally have tried to work for companies only to find there was nowhere to go nowhere to advance.  A glass ceiling was there that a woman with children would never break thru.  I had to decide to make my own destiny. 
 I asked myself what would I want to do, and I pondered it for a few weeks.  I came up with this (My children suffer from ADD and we have always gone to Doctors only to be sent away with prescriptions that made them sleepy and took their personality away.)  I wanted to formulate a product that was natural and so safe you could give it to teenagers in place of Ritalin and Adderall that would curb their symptoms but not take away what I love about them.  So I started by finding a formulator that was very good at what he does and was very smart thank God I knew him because he was the key to making the product great.  I then took the formula to a supplement company that would make it for me.  I got a few samples and tweaked it a bit had a graphic designer make a fantastic label and i shopped it to ebay, amazon made a website sold it to friends relatives stood in malls and sold it at church.  Anything I could do to get this bottle in the hands of the public.

Once I started seeing sales and reviews that the public liked what I had and that best of all it really helped it was worth it. I cried I wanted to give up I spent my last $4000.00 and that’s hard to do when you have 4 kids.  I had to throw caution to the wind and just gamble baby.  The odds were against me but i had no other choice but to try.  In the process of all of this my significant other complained and moaned and said it wasn’t bringing in money.  I always replied when it does bring in money will you jump on the band wagon?  It’s almost harder to do when you have a nay sayer in your ear trying to get you to stop telling you that you can’t.  I say fuck you and keep going and don’t look back because one day it will work and it will be because I didn’t listen to crud like that.  You can do it, I made Cerebra Ultra from the sweat on my brow and the soles of my shoes.

                                         Sing in the car!!!  
  The best way to relieve stress in the world is singing loudly alone in your car.  If you are in the car alone or with your family it doesn’t matter.  Find a tune you love like crazy and belt it out!!  I promise you won’t be sorry, you are simulating screaming and yelling with the added bonus of happiness of hearing your favorite music.  So I recommend jamming out.

                       Combat Anxiety with Meditation
Even though some of us think we don’t suffer from Depression we all do to some degree. I actually have a 26 year old son that suffers with crippling Anxiety. I invited him to come to Florida from his home in Michigan for Christmas.  He came down to see us and stayed for a week, during that week he was going outside alot. I thought it was just to enjoy the great weather.  When I went out to spend a few minutes with him outside I had stumbled upon him having a full blown anxiety attack.  I am talking about hyperventilation and vomiting with flushed skin. I wondered what I could do for him I wanted to call an ambulance it was scary.  I told him to meditate I know that sounds weird at that moment but he went inside himself to basically talk himself out of having some negative feelings he was having.  Needless to say, he was able to calm himself down after a few minutes.  Turns out the attack was brought on by the fact that he was leaving and was worried he wouldn’t see us for a long time and he will miss his little brother and Me.  I just hugged him tight and told him please do the exercise of meditating when he started feeling the attack coming on.  Since the incident he has had better luck stopping the episodes before they got to the point of an attack. Mediate and maybe this will help with relieving the tension brought on by depression and anxiety.

How do you overcome distraction at work? 
 1. Don’t read news, blogs or troll social media while at work.  Sometimes we do it on our smartphones when we are supposed to be working and it’s counterproductive.  
2. Stop trying to multitask because when you are at work you have to do the work you are paid to do first. For example trying to plan a baby shower for your friend while you are at work it is also counterproductive because neither is going to get your best.
3.  Worrying while you are at work is not going to fix anything.  If you are worrying about things at home your work will suffer.  I suggest leaving your worries at the door and be professional.  No personal calls while at work that would distract you from your duties.
4.  Stop trying to help everyone all the time.  By trying to play the hero you may be neglecting your duties.  In the process of making sure everyone's ok you may not be ok.  Think about yourself and your livelihood that is most important.
Train your Brain to eliminate focus problems with a five-part approach: energy, emotion, engagement, structure, and control.  Please give these a shot and avoid situations and people that would keep you distracted.

                                  Are you a busy little bee????
Aren’t we all? LOL I used to find myself walking into the kitchen in the morning looking for Coffee and then any medications I may need to boost myself to the level of taking care of everything on my list.  (and what a list it is) Running a company,  running a home, Caring for a husband and teenage boy, shopping, cleaning, cooking and o my God so much more.  I think we all have a list that would scare most folks.  I needed to make some changes to help me just look at that list differently.  It becomes monotonous you see and I am not into a hum drum existence.  As much as I need to do it also has to be done in an exemplary fashion no BS, no half assed efforts.  If it has to be done it has to be great.  I chose to take nootropics as an alternative to a pill given by a Doctor because let’s be honest I drag if I don’t take something or drink coffee.  You know the deal, when you get into your 40′s you feel run down faster. Mothers out in the world wear a number of different hats.  Sometimes a man doesn’t realize how many hats you really wear.  In the world of mothers we are a chef, hairdresser, manicurist, laundress, dry cleaner, maid, personal assistant, accountant, personal shopper, gardener, trash taker outer, Task master, teacher, Technical person, and sometimes even a sex slave.  Oh yes I said it we are never to let anyone tell us we are not superhuman.  We are and manage to be, nice and smile and go to see friends and not pass out.  So I am going to give you a bit of advice if this applies to you.  DON’T TAKE THAT MESS!!!.  However in the meantime, we may need a little boost so instead of guzzling down 8 cups of coffee (that has is own downside) take an herbal brain supplement that supports brain function as well as gives you ENERGY!!!  Check it out.

New Years Resolutions are made at the beginning of every new year.  Some people really try to keep their promises to themselves but lack the motivation to keep it up. I say start with a small attainable goal and then build on it.  I noticed when I made a list of things I wanted to do to make my life have more sunny days and less rainy days.  I went down the list and literally crossed off the things I had done or finished and it got cooler and cooler to be able to take that marker and cross off another thing that i had tackled.  I just had back surgery in late October and I wanted desperately to start doing Yoga again.  I asked my Orthopedic Surgeon if it was ok for me to start again.  He gave me the go ahead to do it however although I was intermediate to advanced before he wanted me to start from a beginner level and work my way back up again.  IU swear by the list thing try it once and see how you feel crossing stings off of that list.  If you need a little energy or motivation or have trouble with memory or focus problems then try Cerebra Ultra to make it count.
