Ghost sees y/n come into the room and jokingly take her cup as she goes for it and holds it out in a teasing manor.

Ghost- "were you getting this?"

He has a big ass grin under his balaclava. So satisfied with himself its showing in his eyes as a lil sparkel that only comes with mischief.

She goes to grab the cup, desperately needing her morning coffee, a bit too tired to notice the game Ghosts playing.

But just as her hands about to make contact with the cup he holds it up over his head. She glares at him, assessing how serious he is to this.

His smirk is evident even through the mask, hes all to proud of himself. She could just get another cup but hes made this personal, hes withholding her morning caffeine.

Yes shes very tired but that extra energy reserve for retreaving caffeine has kicked in, its a feral sort of energy.

With no warning she goes from standing like a statue in front of him to rapid movement as she climbs him like a cat tree.

Shes now perched on him. Sitting on his shoulder, leg on each side steadying herself against his chest. The cup is now hers again and caffeine can be acquired.

She hops down and heads straight to the coffee machine without giving an ounce of egnologment for what just happened.

The breakroom wasn't empty and she had many eyes on her for that 'show', all of whom are now starting at her in awe and shock.They know shes a skilled operator but this was unlike anything they have seen before. They have never witnessed someone being climbed like a cat tree before, nor did they know it could be done so quick and swiftly.

Ghost is having a whole different mind fuck from that experience. All he knows is he wouldn't mind that happening again

I think i might make one of my original works into a book

I have 19,000 words so far and ideas for the next part, it just needs a shit tone of editing but I feel the drive to do it so ill take advantage of that till it disappears

Any tips for the editing and sticking to it ?

While having his cigar breaks he's taken up the habit of drawing, just a sketch of something in his view. At first he wasn't very good but he kept at it, making it a natural habit now he has stacks of sketchbooks and a very impressive one hes currently working in.

One day while sent into the Captain's office to fetch a file Soap sees a sketchbook sitting open and is floored. He cant help it, hes already flipping threw the pages.

Beautiful nature scenes that he recognizes from their deployments, a few of just random tables and their contents, a detailed drawing of a coffee machine and a few portraits of the most stunning beauty hes ever seen.

Who is this women? Is she someone who works here, surly not he would have noticed. She must be someone in the Captain's life, but just who is she to him? Please let it be a relative, a single relative.

Completely forgetting the file he brings back the sketchbook instead. He walls right up to Price and places the open sketchbook, displaying the beautiful women laying on a picnic blanket.

Soap- " Who Is This Beauty?"

Soap is met with a hard glare through drawing brows and clenched jaw. Now eveyones huddled around the tabled taking a look at what's caused such a scene.

Price- " That's My Wife"

Captain has a few different tones they have all learned well and this one they all recognized and take an instinctive step backwards. This is his very defensive and protective, step the fuck down tone.

Price closes the sketchbook and walks out, postponing the meeting, hes got something more important to do now, call his beautiful wife.

The guys are left standing frozen until Ghost slaps Soap upside the head, messing his mohawk.

Ghost- " You couldn't have just said hes talented, seriously mate"

Price- " Hello darling"

Ghost- “ Alright, let me hear it”

Y/N-“It involves fire”

Ghost- “Absolutely not”

Y/N-“What's more relaxing than setting something on fire”

Ghost- “A lot of things”

Y/N-“Yeah and we already tried those”

[Gestures to the scented candles, white noise machine, stuffed animals, puppy live stream, coloring book, and fidget toys]

Ghost- “Oh for fucks sake, what are we burning?”

[ A eyes light up and they magically pull out a basket of flammable stuff and a lighter]

Y/N- “ feeling relaxed?”

Ghost- “Yeah actually… this explains the arson charges in your background check”

Y/N-“... you saw those”

Ghost- “ yep”

Y/N-“ ehh, at least they didn't find the bodies, that's why you gotta make sure its over 1,000c”

[Look at them., first with a astounded eyebrow crinkle, then smoothes to a soft gaze of admiration]

Walking to x-vil. Notices Ghosts pace is slowing down. Glares at him hard.

Soap- “I thought we promised to tell each other when we are bleeding”

Ghost- “That's a very specific promise I don't remember making”

Soap- “ Yeah cause you almost died from internal bleeding when I had you make the promise”

Ghost- “ if I don't remember and was under duress it doesn't count”

Soap- “ that means You are injured”

…

Soap- “ Hey, Hey don't try and run away mister. Sit your ass down and let me fix you”

[ Ghost tries to go faster]

Soap- “ deep sigh”

[Running start, jump, dive and tackles him]

Soap- “ Stay still you stubborn bastard… Aye right there you jackass hiding a 7 inch laceration…. Oh shut it and behave or your stitches will be janky”

Editing, Editing, Oh the self-inflicted pain of editing

Almost asleep, doing my imaginary scenario this dialog really stuck so I wrote it and then desciphered it this morning into this.

I think this is from being interviewed about her dead partner, like a band member they were married to but like it was a lavender marriage so the public had crazy rumors around them and the press wants confirmation.

[Moments later]

Price-“Now I don't wanna hear that negative attitude, look on the bright side”

Gaz- “WooHoo, death here we come, better?”

Y/N- “ Yay we are all gonna die together

Ghost-“Oh fuck that”

[ pulls up mask, shoves half a pack of cigarettes in his mouth and lights up, starts huffing]

Soap- “How's that helping”

Ghost- “ I paid for it, ain't gonna die before i get my monies worth”

[Price agrees with this and lights up his cigar]

The florist shop by the military base does surprisingly well, especially when word of their delivery service got around. All the guys sending flowers to their girls.

Today a man comes in looking around critically then puts down a crisp €100.

Ghost- “ I need a bouquet with the most pollen filled flowers you have”

She's not sure she heard him right but he looks dead serious, so playing catch up she says if he likes to pick up or deliver.

He didn't even consider delivery, he was just planning to shove it in their face but this is even better.

“Delivery”

He fills out the form and gives her a smirk and wave as he leaves very satisfied with his devious plan.

Bouquet specifications: full of pollen

Shes never gotten a request like this before but the man's in luck she just got a new shipment and hasn't removed the stamens yet.

Even with the special request it still turned out quite appealing to the eyes, a good balance of color and shape. So with the bow tied it's sent off to be delivered.

Part of her wished she would have delivered it herself but then 3 days later a man comes in and places an order requesting a bouquet of the strongest smelling flowers and she couldn't help her smile as she recognized the man's name when he signed, J McTavish. The recipient of the pollen order.

From them on she keeps spotting these men coming into her shop, each time with very specific requests and cryptic notes.

Gets dumped loudly and publicly in the movie theater during the commercials. Ghost and Soap had just walked in as the guy was finishing and storming away from her.

They look at each other, one nod and they have the same plan. They start walking up to her row. They cross paths with the guy and Soap being a bit petty ‘bumps’ shoulders with him basically pushing him into the wall, but the guy doesn't dare say a thing back when he catches sight of ghost and he runs out

They go up to her and take a seat on either side. Ghost, always prepared,hands her a pack of tissues. Once she's done crying Soap gently takes her hand and pours some candy into it.

They said nothing to her, just acted. They didn't even speak to each other, so well tuned they didn't need words, only looks.

That's how she got dumped, watched a movie with 2 hot strangers, was fed food by a guy with a mohawk and her tears and chin wiped by a guy with a skull mask.

Price- “ you turned my daughter into a bloody psycho killer”

Price- “ I know, that's why she shouldn't be so highly trained, you see the problem right she'll be dropping bodies weekly”

A loud scream draws their attention and they look out the window and see her putting a cadet in the lion's kill hold. The cadet trying to free himself, panicked and her smiling like a maniac.

Price is pinching his brows, letting out a deep sigh knowing this is only the beginning of a whole new level of problems. And Ghost looks all too pleased, her form is perfect, she is an excellent student.

Price- “ its on you to clean up the bodies”

Ghost- “ I'll make that our next lesson”

Price- “ lord help us all”

And that's how he spent half an hour remaking his mask changing the straps from black to dark green. He couldn't use the shade of green she picked, it wouldn't have been a smart tactical choice but he found something that works. So now he can kill while making the color of his eyes pop, he can never say no to her.
