8/4/03- I wrote this letter to myself 13 years ago. My first band had just broken up, and I was just about to go into the 9th grade. "Nothing will ever stop me from achieving my dreams. The only thing that I would really be happy doing with my life is to play my music for people... And that's what I'm going to do. The more people tell me 'No,' or 'you can't,' the more I want it." Then, because I was 13, I went on to talk about Cobain for a minute... So far, I have tried to keep this promise. In truth, while I have been faithful to this message, I may have also been my own biggest opponent in terms of decisions that I have made, etc. So here's to growing, adapting, learning, reaching out, and continuing this journey.
